When we checked in at the gate on May 15th, we were told that the campsite was packed. The man said mockingly that if we hadn't made a reservation, we shouldn't waste miles driving around because there wouldn't be any space anywhere. We weren't even allowed to turn around on the grounds, but had to reverse back up the narrow lane onto the road. An unfriendly βwelcomeβ, in other words. Fortunately, we found an excellent camper pitch in San Serra de Marina.

Convenient spot on a main road, with inconvenient sanitary facilities. For example, no cold tap for brushing teeth, no squeegee to clean the shower after use. Friendly lady at reception, which is open from 8:00 to 10:00 and 16:00 to 19:00. Spacious pitches, many without electricity. And thanks, Milco, for the tip: the restaurant in the village, a 10-minute walk, is highly recommended.

Lovely spot in the mountains with a beautiful view. Sanitary facilities simple but clean. Please note: no bread service yet, shop and bar still closed. We paid β¬17 including electricity. If you are coming from the direction of Spain, turn around in the village and then take the parallel road, and you will drive there in no time.

Quite a sloping patch of gravel, but emptying and filling is free. There are trash cans. Other than that, there is absolutely nothing to see or do here. We had a quick sandwich here and drove on.

Nothing more than a large parking lot, next to an interesting Roman excavation. Close to a nice historic center with many restaurants, cafes, and shops.

Pleasant spot, via the TripStop app, β¬16 including emptying, filling, and electricity (but not enough sockets for everyone). Beach not very appealing: waves were pitch black. Mud?

Quiet campsite, at least now (May 5th), spacious pitches and simple but clean sanitary facilities. Bread roll service. Didn't go into the town but it looked nice.

Great place to stay overnight, very quiet, with a walk through the greenery to the fortified town. Great pizza there. Water and electricity via app, but we didn't need it. You can flush the toilet without the app. Top spot!

This campsite closes on September 30th and there is no bread service!

Neat campsite, but you have to like standing between the high hedges. In the adjacent restaurant there was a band of a bunch of fifty-somethings whining at a high volume, and we fled from there with our hands to our ears.

The most beautiful places are at the back, where you don't get an ACSI discount. Spacious pitches, just sanitary. Unfortunately no bread service, bakery around the corner close. So you have to go into the town, where there is nothing to do. The 'fine restaurant' next to the campsite is a burger and pizza joint.

Great to visit OrlΓ©ans, by bus and tram (day ticket is the cheapest) or bicycle. We were there Sept 18-20. Neat campsite, baker comes on site at 8.30 am.

Beautiful grounds, excellent and clean sanitary facilities, pleasant atmosphere, some places have a nice view. Beautiful environment. We were there mid September.

Great place for 1 night, quiet, each has electricity and toilet drain. If there is no more space: the parking lot further on (not the one next to the motorhome) offers solace.

Very nice, spacious and well-kept campsite in the woods. Spacious places, excellent sanitary facilities (no coins required). Sandwiches are delivered to the camper, what a service. Biergarten / restaurant also ok. A place to come back to!

Wonderfully quiet place, relaxed atmosphere, friendly people. Sanitary old but clean and functional. Restaurant simple but tasty. Con: very few power boxes.

Nice places on the Sauer / SΓ»re, little hindrance from the road across the road, near Trier and Echternach. Handy: key needed for sanitary (1 for 2 people), and then also mint showers. For which you have to climb the stairs. Restaurant has Hungarian specialties.

Nice spacious campsite, beautiful places, good sanitary. Within walking distance (fence on the side of the railway viaduct) from the village, where the little train (Ahrbahn) goes to Ahrweiler, for example. On the expensive side, with 1 euro per shower. But is it worth it.

Beautiful location, 10 minutes walk from the lake, excellent sanitary facilities, friendly people. A relief after the stressed conditions right on the lake. And extremely cheap.

Great place for 1 night on vacation, near ferry. New paved places, sanitary nets except washing up. No hot water so only 10 pounds paid. Toilet cleaning machine available. Nice walk over the dike overlooking the bay.

Quiet town campsite, good plumbing, bread at bakery / bar at 300 m. Walking distance to downtown or few bus stops away. Friendly manager. Minus: very expensive.
