A nice camper pitch where everything is available: grey water disposal and toilet emptying 9 euros per person, Water intake 10 cents per 10 liters electricity +/- 50 cents per kWh. Neat, clean toilets, and free showers, no tourist tax or pitch fees the only downside for us was the noisy bridge/road a little further on, but hey, you can't have everything; we slept very well otherwise

Well, pretty much everything; nothing can be done about the fire, but something can be done about the campsite. Everything is old and dirty, the campsite looks like a garbage dump; beautiful grounds but poorly maintained. Junk is standing or lying everywhere, which doesn't make it any prettier. Old, used or unused, unkempt caravans with awnings that have long since passed their prime. A shame, but perhaps it is time to pass the baton to people who see the potential of the whole place. 30-08-2026

A very nice campsite and a very friendly welcome. We stayed here on our way to Scotland and on our return journey to the Netherlands for an overnight stay to and from the ferry. It is a half-hour drive from the port and is located on the edge of the village, with a Tesco supermarket and a few pubs. The campsite has the usual sanitary facilities. In short, a nice place with friendly people.

We arrived via the Postcode CO7 7JQ. It is indeed a nice spot, but for £12.00 per person and £6 for electricity/everything per night, we thought it was quite a lot; you can shower for free, though.

May 28, 2026 A farm (campsite) with sheep and chickens (fresh eggs for sale), and a very nice owner (Louise), who gave us a road map/book because we couldn't find one, sooo sweet. Maps are out 🫣 A basic spot with electricity for 22 pounds per night, and 1 pound for the shower.

Beautiful and quiet place to stay. Unfortunately, the toilets are out of order, and there are no other facilities. There is a small Spar supermarket across the bridge.

Beautiful camper place at a very beautiful park with several large ponds. The sani column is unfortunately still out of order, emptying the toilet cassette is possible and then rinsing the cassette with water from your own camper👍🏻
