friendly staff. central location but the traffic noise is not really noticeable. ideally placed to explore the town and the coast. recommend GM scooter hire if you want to hire a moped and travel a little further. once you get used to the Italian way of driving it really is quite fun. visit Portofino and Santa Margherita and marvel at the coastline. if I win the lottery I may buy a house here.

we were only going to stay one night but stayed for four we liked it that much. ideal for Cinque Terre and the beaches. lovely food at the onsite restaurant. excellent free hot showers. just to point out that because of Covid no site supplies toilet paper anymore. nice little town.

clean and tidy with a small pool. order breads and croissants for the next morning at reception. heck of a walk back up the hill but after a million calories of pizza to walk off it must be done. clamber over the rocks onto the pebble beaches for the day. nice town with lots of pizza and gelato to be found. the road can be heard but it’s a background hum, not intrusive. would recommend and would love to come back here for longer

Basically a car park quite near a busy road but convenient for a stop off. Nice town where you can stock up in basics. Close to the river, would have liked more time to explore but we are back on the road. Italy is calling !!! The water tap is exceptionally slow but can’t moan as it’s all free

Lovely and quiet on the edge of the town. Emptied toilet ok but could not get water to work as it didn’t accept my bank card.

Fantastic location near the river and chateau. Water and waste. Watch the sun set over the Loire. Bit like a car park

Gorgeous scenic town but this is a car park next to the river ferry. Worth a day here. Just a park up for the night with some bins. Locals park here overnight so can be noisy.

Ideal stop off on the journey to / from the uk. Entry via a barrier system. €3 for water. Beautiful views. Very exposed in a storm as we found out. Many vans moved in the night to more sheltered pitches. It would be bad luck if the wind blows the sewage smell towards you though. 🤢

Very small and crowded. No room at all when we arrived at 2am after getting off tunnel so we parked in the lay-by near by. Practical stop off for a night while passing through. Town was nice with all amenities.

Very much like a car park. Convenient for a walk into town. The machine only accepted cash when we visited which caused chaos. Waste and water. Arrive early as this place fills up mid morning.

Car park or grassy area that is nice and quiet. The town is postcard perfect so definitely worth a stop off here. Good if self contained. Good bar that doubles as a bakery and shop.

When you reach the walled village of Ménerbes you have to park on the outskirts as directed by a chap requesting 5 Euros. For campers opt for the top level and you can stay over night very peacefully. There are no facilities at the site but the beauty of the area more than makes up for it. The bakery sells the most perfect baguettes. I imagine this place will be manic in July and August.

What a bargain. Nice and quiet. Only water and waste facilities but that’s enough if you are self contained. Nice for walking in the woods. Safe. And the bonus of wild goats wandering past the van. You need to keep the entry ticket to get out!

Quiet location on the outskirts of lovely village. Shady. No facilities. We did not stay here as the place was swarming with mosquitoes which was a shame.

Visited early September. Very quiet. When we arrived nobody was here so we were told to park up and tell them later. Showers. Toilets ( no toilet seat or loo roll provided) immaculate. Washing areas for dishes and clothes. Washing machines. On the outskirts of town which has everything you need. As usual in France the place is deserted by 8pm so don’t expect a night out! Dog friendly and safe.
