We thought it would be wonderful to visit the cave by bike from here. The access road is so steep for our camper that it took two attempts to get back up with spinning tires. The road was dry at the time, so if it had been wet, we wouldn't have succeeded. Our camper is 7.30 meters long and has nearly 2 tons on the rear axle and only 1.4 tons on the front axle.

Too expensive for a parking space behind the restaurant. The sanitary facilities are substandard. One toilet and one shower for both men and women is insufficient. Moreover, they could use a renovation as well. The food is fine, however, the chef cannot manage to serve the meat skewers and trout at the same time. It is convenient, though, that the bus to the city center stops right outside. You can get to the center in about 20 minutes for €1.50 per person.

Beautiful spot, especially if you are by the water. Regarding the restaurant: the chicken was incredibly dry, and the skewers were not warm enough. The service was not organized; when we complained about when the food would arrive, as others after us had already eaten, he had no idea what we had ordered. Unfortunately, the toilet opens at 10:00 along with the restaurant.

Great campsite with spacious pitches that you can choose yourself. The sanitary facilities are also fine and clean. It's a shame about the railway line, but it didn't bother us at night.

Tasted the 4 beers from the brewery. They were excellent. Small menu with burgers and sausages. Very friendly host, with explanations about the beers. Sanitary facilities excellent. Great stopover point. And the pitch is free, including electricity. Top-notch!

With an 8-meter camper, it is quite a challenge; we could only park with the wrong side facing the sun. Beautiful surroundings. The sanitary facilities are reasonable.

Best campsite during our 2-month trip through Portugal and Spain. Nicest shower and sanitary facilities. Uber to and from the center for less than €15.00 per ride. Nice spot for our 8-meter camper.
