Book well in advance. With a small campervan, you might get lucky and snag the "makeshift" spot. Small campsite, great pitches. Very nice hikes are possible. Cycling is also fine if you enjoy cycling in the mountains. It's just under 5 km to Merano, downhill and uphill on the way back, of course. But it's okay. Bakery and restaurant around the corner, and Algund with its shops is also just a few minutes away by bike.
