Our second stay at this campsite and fantastic again: super friendly welcome, escorted to the pitch by a staff member in a golf cart, nice paved pitch for camper/caravan, beautiful view of the Waal and the boat traffic, excellent electricity and water connections, clean sanitary facilities, dead Wi-Fi (minor downside), recommended restaurant, nice sandy beaches, great starting point for bike rides along the dike and to Nijmegen.

Advantage: a short cycling distance from Maastricht. But: it looks like a large parking lot with minimal sanitary facilities: 3 toilets and 3 showers for 100 pitches! There are narrow strips of grass between the gravel pitches where the campers must park. The continuous traffic noise from the adjacent road to Lanaken is really disturbing. I can't add more due to space limitations, but in any case, it is not really suitable for a pleasant longer stay!
