I probably had too high expectations due to the good reviews. Large shady pitches. Friendly welcome. It is very quiet there at the end of September. Only a few other guests on the campsite. You do have all the sunbeds by the beautiful pool to yourself, though. In the surrounding area, the season is really over. The toilet block was no more than okay. Water not really warm, hardly any pressure from the shower, toilets without seats, cleaning barely done.

The good score is mainly due to the friendly owners, the tranquility, and the small scale. Don't expect luxury. It is all dated but works well. Lovely warm stream in the shower, but it is a very small cubicle. Took a beautiful bike ride along the green route.

The bus connection to the city was the biggest plus. The toilet block was okay. One very busy race track road behind the place was a shame. The swimming pool was nice.

Great campsite for an overnight stay while traveling. The bathrooms were excellent. Friendly service. We did find the highway noise a bit disturbing.
