Perfect spot right in front of the city walls and the small old town. €14 is okay. We'll be back again.

A quiet spot for about four campers next to the sports field/cemetery. Perfect for a stopover. The small town is within walking distance via steps. Water and waste disposal are free, as is the site itself. The only drawback is that there's no way to dispose of rubbish; all the bins are locked. Nevertheless, it's a good spot; thanks to the local council.

€25 for one night with electricity. Everything is very rustic and basic. The owners are friendly. It's about a 1km walk to the sea and 500m to town. Okay for one night.

A free campsite with water and waste disposal facilities and even electricity – it could have been so nice. Unfortunately, the site is located right at the intersection of two very noisy, heavily trafficked roads, starting very early in the morning. Dogs are a real problem. They bark all night long, and it doesn't just seem like one dog joins in, but every dog in the neighborhood seems to be constantly barking. We have a dog ourselves and aren't usually bothered by noise, but this is awful.

A night by the sea next to a noisy road, directly in the airport's flight path, and a party going on right next door until late into the night. Everything looks very dated and not particularly well-maintained. A lot could be achieved with minimal effort. The pitches vary in price; even the third or fourth row costs extra. €35 without electricity (another €5) seems unreasonable to me.

Parking is available under trees among old boats. Unfortunately, some motorhome owners spread out as if they were on a free campsite, setting up chairs, clotheslines, etc. These selfish people haven't grasped the purpose of a designated parking space. If you don't let this deter you and simply park (you can easily place chairs in front of your motorhome), you'll have a fantastic view of the sea, Sicily, and the smoking Mount Etna.

Small, great spot with a fantastic view. The space itself is very cramped and occupied by locals. With a 7m vehicle, you have to park sideways, otherwise you're in the road. Waste disposal is available, but I wouldn't fill up with fresh water here. It looks too disgusting. Overall, it's okay for one night.
