A mini campground for motorhomes. Toilets, 2 hot showers, on-site catering, washing machine, books available, pétanque court, ping pong table, bar, etc. Shaded. I recommend spending 1 or 2 nights there to visit Île aux Moines. The pier is 800 meters away via the coastal path. Very, very nice.

Remember to buy white grapes "Le Chasselas" in September .... delicious! Visit the St Pierre abbey. Roman monument registered with UNESCO. We stayed 3 days.

We passed on September 19, 2024. Very noisy area. Road with heavy traffic. Freight train passing. Far on foot from the seaside, by Avenue du General de Gaulle. Supermarket 7 minutes on foot. Port la Nouvelle is a commercial port. For a night stopover. No more.

Take behind the children's games, up to the Bambou plantation, then extend to the stone railway bridge. Great, very shady walk.

Plan ahead, because the Village de la Faute is 3 km away if you don't have a bike. Casino in the Village of La Faute. Ideal for the proximity of the beach several kilometers long.

To visit La Rochelle take the Bus to the Cognacq Jay stop, a 5-minute walk from the area. An hour's journey, get off at Place de Verdun city center in La Rochelle. Buses and cycle paths to visit the whole island. I recommend.

This very recent area, to open in Spring 2022. Located 2.5 km from the Festyland amusement park. To visit the city of Caen, 2 bus lines go to Breteville sur Odon. The Twisto Network with line number 32 And the Nomad Caen la mer Network with line 104. These are 2 lines serving the city center of Caen. A secure cycle path passes in front of the Camping Car area. Quite noisy with the nearby road interchange.

We passed in October 2022 Very spacious pitch, well delimited by hedges. In a beautiful green setting, surrounded by fir trees. Picnic benches and tables on the pitches. Water is available at each electrical terminal. Sanitary, emptying and all services. Everything seemed excellent to us for a stopover. Next to the Hotel Restaurant Logis de France "Les Sittelles" and an Aqua Gym and Fitness center.

The free shuttle bus number 9 rue de la Resse, takes you to the center of Mazamet. To know everything about the Cathars Visit the Cathar Museum in the town centre. Be careful all the same with the road access by the small difficult and dangerous bridge.

Bus or bicycle are essential to get to the heart of this city classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Services are in poor condition. “Shopping center parking” type parking on asphalt.
