Very quiet place on the edge of Roermond. Supermarket is a 10-minute walk away. Nice restaurant on the campsite with terrace and good service. The campsite itself is located between apple and pear trees, the fruits of which you can pick for free. Robert the owner is very nice and helpful. Sanitary facilities are fine. A good base for walking the Pieterpad which is around the corner. In short, a top place for a reasonable price. 👍🏻

What a great camper place and nice people!! The shower rooms are very clean and beautiful. We were here to ski. Unfortunately it became too hot and therefore bad slopes. When we decided to leave earlier, they suggested that we only count the days we had been there. A beautiful and good restaurant with bar completes everything. Ski bus stops in front of the door. In short, we will definitely come back. See you in the summer dear people!!!

Other than that, I fully agree with the previous review. It is not the prettiest campsite, but more than adequate for a city campsite. I would say: drive on cheerfully, the more space there is for us. For all others, go there and enjoy the sea, beach and city. 😘

very skeptical at first, but very enthusiastic later in the afternoon. We had moved our camper to 50 meters after the tunnel against the park. Great walking/cycling routes along the river. Nice restaurant at 100 meters where you can also rent canoes. Swimming in the river or visiting the church. One word, fantastic and most beautiful free motorhome ever. Have fun there!!!

what a nice campsite, for us this was a transit campsite, but feel free to stay here for a few days. plenty of walking and cycling opportunities. beautiful secluded places, electricity and water always close by. heated shower and toilet blocks. very quiet and close to a nice village. nice restaurant le cicollette and very nice service. and that for less than 15 euros per night. we will definitely come back here, but for a longer period of time. A large organized gang, but unique and special !!! You have the idea that you ended up in a hippie communion, eat what the pot is doing, no beer just very good wine and schnapps. Enough camper places around here, but if you don't want to stand, this is a great alternative. Lots of space and overview over the green grass. Very nicely located CP, however busy. We arrived around 7 p.m. in March, almost everything full. Campers are close together, but great for 1 or 2 nights.

Good reception at the Hane. Excellent explanation and very helpful. It did not suffer from the motorway itself, but I can imagine that others are bothered by it. With regard to the pigs smell, even occasionally you smell them, but yes you are in the countryside. Great base for eg Thermen Bussloo 2 km away.

Location of the campsite is fine. Price is too high, especially in the winter months. Many facilities closed or closed such as the restaurant, cafe, water supply. Sanitary is from the 70s, dry clothes very difficult. A nice walking route to Monschau and a few nice restaurants within walking distance such as Olive and Bodega tapasrestaurant.
