Beautiful, spacious municipal campsite on the Loire. Chambord Castle is easily accessible by bike. Sanitary facilities are good and not old, accessible via stairs on the first floor. Please note the reception opening times!

Large spaces under trees, unfortunately a bit noisy from traffic in the morning and when work is being done on the boats opposite. Good starting point for walks along the water to the old town. Bakery within walking distance. Small restaurants nearby. Parking ticket machine: €8.20

Beautiful area in a very touristy region. Water and electricity are well organized! Pitches are very narrow and some have shade in the evenings, and are rather poorly designed. There are nicer pitches at Campingcar Park (€15.70).

Beautiful place with nothing, very crowded and narrow in July. Loud from the main road, the garbage truck drives across the square at five in the morning, and at the weekend there are a few teenagers honking loudly. The beach is close and beautiful but not guarded. A supermarket can be reached by bike, the bike path runs directly behind the square.

Nice little campsite with grass and under trees, very nice owners. Toilets and showers are not luxury but adequate, even when fully booked. A little out of the way, beach and supermarket are within cycling distance. A food truck drove to the campsite in the evening, unfortunately we had already eaten.

Very nice little municipal campsite. Large pitches on grass, some shade. Directly below the fortress wall, right on the river. Supermarket and bakery within walking distance. The village is old and beautiful. The reception was only open in the mornings and evenings during our stay, we chose a pitch ourselves and only registered later. The sanitary building is old, but very clean! We'll be back!

Great places if the motorhome isn't too long. The squares are divided by thick stones. Everything seems a bit provisional, but the people there still have other tasks and worries (10.2023). Good restaurants within walking distance (Nepomuk). Good starting point for wonderful hikes. No electricity, no V+E. 6 euros are collected in the morning.
