A surprisingly nice campsite right in the middle of the vineyards. We were just passing through but stayed an extra day. The owner is friendly; in the morning, we were invited to feed the animals. You can order bread and croissants, and she also sells delicious Bordeaux wines from the area. Furthermore, there is a great swimming pool, and you can go for bike rides in the rural surroundings.

Friendly welcome. Great location for exploring the city. But the pitches are incredibly cramped. You can barely put your chair in front of the campervan. Extending the awning is impossible. Another drawback is the many cats roaming around, which are very aggressive. Our dogs became very restless. So, camping isn't ideal for dogs. Therefore, we left after just one night.

Arrived here in the middle of the day, reception was closed. Gate was opened for us by a friendly gentleman, so we looked for a place. There were still many places available. After 4 o'clock the reception was open, so we reported it properly. We were told in a rather blunt way that we could not stay. The reason was very unclear. Plenty of places available, but it was "not possible". So we left again with a strange feeling.

The campsite is actually closed after the floods in August 2023. We are working hard to restore the campsite. We were received very kindly and were allocated a place. Sanitary facilities are open and fine. More places will soon be repaired, so limited overnight stays will be possible again. The campsite will open again in spring 2024.

Friendly reception. Neat and spacious paved camper pitches at the entrance to the campsite. Sanitary facilities quite new and clean. Located on a busy road, with little to do except the swimming pool. We spent €5 with dog and €8.50 with electricity, a total of €62.50 for 2 people and a camper. 8 km further in Olimja there are camper pitches at a restaurant for €15. So draw your own conclusion.

We wanted to spend the night here but unfortunately dogs are not allowed. So we drove to the next camper place at Molkwerum. Beautiful route behind the dike. Max width 2.20m excluding campers. So just drive in.
