What a friendly couple and a warm welcome! If you enjoy idyllic surroundings, peace and quiet, and a small-scale atmosphere, Patrick and Sandra are the perfect choice. Despite the limited sanitary facilities at the campsite itself (which will be resolved next fall), there's a good alternative in the house. You can also easily do your dishes there. At the end of the day, we enjoyed the slightly saltwater pool with its loungers and the magnificent starry sky.

A very warm welcome from Monique and Erik! A wonderful spot practically on the water with swimming and (free!) rowing facilities. We heard that dining together is a wonderful experience. And it is! Erik cooks superbly over wood and coals! And I don't know of any other campsite that has so many different wines on the menu. Well, then you'd actually want to stay longer. Fortunately, thanks to the open-minded owners, this was possible. A top spot.

A lovely, quiet campsite with good facilities at a reasonable price, right on the Tarn River. The app's navigation is correct, but the address is incorrect. The campsite is located in Millau, not Saint George Luzençon. The correct address is: Avenue de Millau Plage 12100 Millau (Request to the moderator to change this)

Free overnight stay. But otherwise, a filthy toilet, a locked urinal, and a broken water supply. You can, however, empty your bags. The impressive photo exhibition on the other side of the Lot River is particularly noteworthy. On Sunday (July 27th), almost everything was closed. But a visit to the church was possible again. And they even played the church organ! A lovely surprise.

Excellent (typically French) campsite with two sanitary facilities and a friendly owner/receptionist. Beautifully situated on the Ardèche River, with a private beach. Canoe rentals are available nearby. However, the rate shown on Campersite is out of date! It's €34 per night, excluding €5 in electricity costs! On top of that, there's a tourist tax of €0.66 per person per night. We (two adults) paid €80.64 all-in for two nights.

Excellent, free campervan site with a simple but clean toilet (please bring your own paper) and other necessary campervan services. Use of an electric hookup is €5. The signposted walk in the area is very clearly marked at the beginning and well worth the effort, but after a few hundred meters we couldn't find any signs. Google Maps is your best friend in this case. Wine tasting is available from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, except on Sundays.

Very friendly staff at reception and the bar. The Tour de France is on TV, and many famous mountain passes are nearby if you enjoy cycling. We had a beautiful spot with both sun and shade. It's also suitable for staying several nights. The bathroom facilities are basic but clean. You can take a wonderful shower! The village itself isn't particularly interesting. Much of it is old and/or closed.

A simple campsite on the lake, but water sports and swimming are not permitted. There is, however, a semi-covered swimming pool. The sanitary facilities are very basic and unfinished. The lighting in the building is very dim. Good for a stopover, but not for extended stays.

A beautifully landscaped campervan site in a stunning vineyard setting. And if you're not a wine lover, the beer pub is just a 200-meter walk away. The very friendly owner comes by between 6 and 7 PM to collect the pitch. If you're not there, he'll come by again in the morning.

We are there at the beginning of June and the campsite is deserted. The owner is friendly but tells us very little. He asks where we want to stand and eventually gives us 1 pass for the toilet and showers. When we want to shower the next morning (9:30), it turns out that only 1 person can use the pass. We look at each other in dismay. No one at the reception or restaurant either! After half an hour we try again, but alas.
