Beautiful campsite by the fjord, very spacious pitches and friendly owners/managers. You immediately receive all information about hiking, cycling routes, and what there is to do in the area. The campsite has a very good bread roll service and a snack bar where you can enjoy a delicious meal; we can recommend the burgers. What surprises us is that the occupancy rate is so low for the high season. The sanitary facilities are dated but very clean. Wonderful showers.

As many reviews indicate, it is a flat expanse of asphalt packed with campers; if you want a guaranteed spot, booking in advance is a must. I found booking simple via Campercontact. Despite the many campers, there is no (noise) disturbance from one another. The sanitary facilities are fine and kept very clean, though perhaps a bit limited for so many campers. Friendly manager and close to the center of Copenhagen. Stayed 3 nights ;-)
