Thanks to the owner for making two campervan spots available at the start of several hiking trails. We spoke briefly with the owners and politely asked for permission. They said they greatly appreciated this, as unfortunately, this doesn't always happen. As campervan owners, let's make sure these people know their hospitality is appreciated, so these kinds of spots can continue to exist.

Great location, especially considering the free parking. Kids can have a blast at the playground, and behind it is a basketball court and bike park. If you continue there, you can enjoy a lovely walk along the river and end up at a petting zoo. A wonderful place for families. You can hear the train, but we didn't find it bothersome.

A true climbers' campsite, geared towards tents, hammocks, etc. There's one shower/toilet. Campers, provided they're no longer than about 6 meters (you have to fit in a car's space), are allowed to stay overnight in the parking lot. Emptying grey water/toilets, etc., is not permitted. Stunning views, hospitable owner. Wonderful bouldering and climbing area. Crash pads for bouldering are available for rent. Boulders range in difficulty from 3 to 7/8.

Overnight camping with a camper is only permitted on the upper part of the site (near the sign). The lower area is for cars only, and there's a sign prohibiting campers. Otherwise, it's a great place to stay overnight, thanks to the municipality.

The whole thing gives a messy impression. The adjacent open-air pool is being renovated in '24 and '25 and the Marienburg castle is also closed for renovation.

Very friendly welcome by an elderly couple. Beautiful surroundings for walking. Foxes, deer, wild boars and wolves regularly visit the fields next to the camper place. Really a place for nature lovers and peace seekers. Due to the elderly couple no more water, electricity etc.

Lovely quiet spot. You can walk to the castle with park. Next to the spot a climbing wall and table tennis table, a little further a playground. little traffic so great for families. Under the camper place sign there is now a sign with how to park. That seems a bit cramped to us... we were joined by 3 others who fortunately left more space.

Lovely place. Especially for families with children. Two nice playgrounds next to the place and during the Christmas period a beautiful light exhibition in the park next to the 2nd playground. The sanistation is now closed.

The municipality indicates that there are 8 spots, near the pole with the well-known sign. Today a number of campers were sent away / ordered to move that were elsewhere on the site. The site is also unavailable at the end of July due to a shooting festival and from August 10 there will be a dinosaur festival. (space available, but certainly nuisance, noise, etc.)

Nice place, payment was currently possible at the summer kiosk. There was also a shower (outside, heated by the sun) Pleasant swimming spot that is also often used by locals.

Not the most cozy place, but adequate. Spacious sites, electricity, gray water and toilet discharge. You can also take drinking water. Everything is easily accessible with the door code that you receive by email after payment at the column.

This place has now been cordoned off with a height beam of 2.00 m and large stone blocks, making it no longer possible to spend the night.

Nice place to stand. Nice view from the spot, a 10-minute walk to the center and a lake for swimming and SUP right behind the spot. Also nice playground equipment at the beach for younger children. Our teenagers give it a big eight.

Nice camper place, space around the camper to sit outside, ruin to view and farm museum. For children there is a nice playground on the other side of the restaurant next door (currently closed).

Following the signs instead of navigation is a good tip to get here. The place filled up very quickly, most campers were along the water (then you can only drive back backwards, which is a challenge for some). In the summer period it is possible to get a guided tour and also visit the tower of the castle.

Nice place with dry toilet, swings and campfire place. Our children thought it was a top spot. A nice lake for supping or swimming within walking distance. At the moment there are quite a lot of mosquitoes and especially a lot of gadflies.

Quiet motorhome. We have (so neatly) asked permission at the museum. That was much appreciated. Visited the museum with our teenagers (children free). Visit was highly recommended. This week there is a Viking camp with reenactment groups. You can buy everything and there are all kinds of activities for the children. We thought it was a top place to stand.

Camper place concerns 4 places in the parking lot in front of the barrier. It was a bit of a puzzle to find a spot because there were normal cars. But in the end it worked and we had a great night here. It's great that the campsite offers this service!

Great place to stand so to see. Just a pity that you first have to drive and pay, and then find the motorhome full. There were also campers on the water, where there is a large ban on staying overnight. We left in the evening and did not want to risk a €250 fine.

Have a nice and quiet night here at Easter. Our teenagers had a great time at the skate park next to the site and in the playground at the school. Nice walk to the Heimathaus. A park / mini open air museum with herb garden, playground, Kneippanlage and old farms. This place is recommended for families.

We spent a wonderfully peaceful night here. No facilities, but we don't need that either. Forest nearby and inviting for wonderful walks. We will definitely come back.

We looked around, found it too busy. Very loud noise from passing traffic. Seemed to be full of long stayers. A real camper camping site, not for us. But if you are happy with electricity, toilet block, etc. a great place. We drove to the place near the sports park and stood there very quietly.

Nice place to stand with children. The plate is quiet and children can play safely. for teenagers, the park of Reken is within walking distance (path from the entrance of the motorhome). The park has a nice skate track, playground, sports fields and bmx track.

Fine motorhome for families. our teenagers had plenty of room to play outside. They also liked the swimming pool (not open every day).

Great motorhome for families. Felsenmeer within walking distance, keep a close eye on young children / not off the paths, the crevices are deep. Sauerlandpark within walking distance, with nice playgrounds and a cool skate track. our teenagers have enjoyed themselves for hours.

Quiet place for those who are not afraid to be alone. During the day some cars drive by, but at night you only hear the sound of the owls in the forest. Nice starting point for walks or mtb tours.

Quiet place in a somewhat desolate village. Even in the middle of winter all 6 spots were full at the beginning of the evening. Across the road a small playground and foot and basketball cage.

A quiet place along a small road on the lake. Anyone thinking of fishing or swimming is currently coming home from a rude awakening: the lake is empty. work on the dam will continue until 2024.

Had a great overnight stay. Lots of noise and music in the evening. Police regularly drive over terrain. Quieter after their visit. In the morning the manager was at the door: restaurant, mini golf and kiosk were badly damaged during burglaries, whether we had heard anything… Unfortunately for him, not. He said that there are currently several weekly burglaries in cars/campers. After the children had played for a while, they quickly left.

Pay € 2.50 at the weekend when entering the site. Campers are asked to park on the far right. During the day, the place is a bit restless at the weekend due to many visitors, but at night it is wonderfully quiet. Were not alone despite low season.

There are 6 spaces in a mixed car park. Quite a lot of noise from train and traffic and early in the morning regional buses that are warming up next to you. A nice place for doing the Mittelrhein via ferrata. It starts just after the tunnel next to the spots.

Superb view. wonderfully quiet, a welcome change from the hustle and bustle down on the Rhine. When you want to stand on the edge a bit slanted, so wedges are handy. In the autumn in the afternoon also sun. (not at the Rhine) During the day some local walkers, otherwise quiet.

This location does not exist and can only be used for one event (3 days a year). The campsite opposite does have camper pitches for 12 euros per night, if you do not use the toilet or showers.

Great friendly welcome and because we do not use sanitary facilities, electricity or showers, it is 12.00 euros per night. We are on the row at a motorhome.

Great campsite, motorhome a little further is more expensive. We chose to be so close to the current and were given a spot on a field with a wooden shelter. Swimming pool not included in the price, but with a day pass you can get in and out unlimited. Our kids have been there and found it clean and fun.

Went here for swimming and boating. Unfortunately not wise. Signs on the water warned against blue-green algae. We also saw a lot of dead fish floating. Otherwise great place, but if you come to swim, you better look further.

Great place to stay with children. Previously mentioned swimming pond and cold shower. You can also easily walk from there to Wadköping (kind of open-air museum in the city park) and Örebro castle.

Great place for a night with some more facilities. Trampoline and small playground for the children. Using a washing machine or dryer costs 40 crowns. Shower 10 crowns. Toilet block accessible with the key. You can also use the key for the discharge area.

Nice location at the end of a gravel road. Just drive around the farm (there are signs) Owners speak limited English, otherwise only Danish. Quiet place to stand with enough space for our children to play. Various games are also available.

When you arrive, the buildings look a bit faded and outdated, but the campsite is otherwise fine. Nice reception, clean and spacious toilet blocks, nice swimming pool and nice playgrounds for our children. This autumn holiday there was even an entertainment program. What we have never seen before: sports hall and sports program on the campsite.

Place on the edge of the center, from where you can easily walk into the city. Register with the harbor master (no is on the information board) Nice view of the canal with associated shipping. The adjacent bridge is regularly opened for inland shipping accompanied by loud ringing bells. The first ships already passed around 7 o'clock, so if you like to sleep in in silence, this may not be a suitable place.

Nice place for walks, bike rides and a visit to the abbey. Because we did not find any signs where people are allowed to stand, we stood at the back of the large parking lot. A bit busy during the day, but very quiet at night. We were there alone, but that was no problem.

Nice quiet place in nature. The viewing tower is being repaired and will reopen in mid-September.

Nice reception by a very friendly owner. Nice spacious pitches with a nice view. The children were allowed to come and help sort the eggs in the morning. The farmer patiently explained and they were even allowed to take a look in the barn. A very nice place to be with a family!

Warm welcome nice place. Includes a flower. The children were allowed to help milk the cows and feed the calves and kittens.

Beautiful green motorhome with a very friendly welcome. There is also a self-service "ice cream parlor" with very tasty traditional farmers ice cream. Furthermore, all facilities are available. We are now passing through here but will definitely come back here.

Great camper place in a beautiful setting. Also excellent with children all the facilities of the campsite can be used. This also applies to the swimming pool.

Great place with many walking and cycling opportunities. There is also a mountain bike route close to the camper place. The view of the horse meadow is very beautiful. There is plenty of space for children to play safely around the RV.

The 3 camper pitches are not overly spacious, but are fine and are separated from each other by a high hedge. If you want more space, you can also visit the farm campsite itself. We were warmly welcomed, received good information about nice walks in the area and the children were allowed to help feed all the animals every day in the stables. Pony lessons, donkey walks and driving lessons are also available for children.

Camper place with beautiful view. 2 spots in a row that were nice and flat. The road next to the campsite is quiet during the day and there is virtually no traffic at night. Trains pass by only sporadically. On the other side of the river is a beach where you can swim. To get there you have to cross the bridge in the village and then drive down an unpaved (and partly very narrow) road.

Nice (small) campsite. You can order sandwiches for the next morning at the reception. Small food shop, snack bar by the pool. We had nice days there with our family. The children were very pleased with the eco pool. (No swimming shorts allowed)

Excellent overnight stop in transit. Nice football and basketball cage, skate park and playground. We thought it was a nice place to stand with our children. Unfortunately no shade. In the evening some teenagers playing and mopeds crossing but soon quiet. Completely silent at night.

Incredibly beautiful place, beautiful surroundings and within walking distance of the landal park. Definitely recommended with children.

When we arrived the parking lot was completely full with visitors for the pool. We just parked somewhere and only put the camper in a good spot in the evening. It's pretty skewed so you definitely need blocks. Furthermore, a great place if you don't need anything and travel with children like us.

Fairly basic camper place. In the winter all day in the shade of the surrounding hills. In addition to a nice little playground and great starting point for walks in the area.

4 clearly marked places on the bus parking next to the Dom. A fairly loud river flows next to the site and the site has shade all day in winter. Bakery and other shops within walking distance.

We have been here 2 nights. Quiet place now in the winter. Walk to the gorge and waterfall is definitely worth it.

Great place on gravel on the canal. Quiet. A visit to the village is worthwhile.

Busy parking space. Traffic for the town and adjacent kindergarten is coming and going. Quiet at night. Woke up the next morning and were completely parked (cars next to and in front of us) so we could not leave. Finally able to leave the site backwards over the lawn.

Camper place on gravel. Slightly slanted to the side of the pond. Vijvertje gives a nice view. However, cars drive regularly to and from the parking lot and you can hear the traffic on the road next door during the day. However, we have not experienced it as disturbing. Quiet at night.

Great place next to the pool, near a beautiful park. Great place for walking.

Leuke plek naast het spoor. Op loopafstand van het stadje, wat ook de moeite waard is. Het lawaai van de auto's en trein viel ons mee. Aan de overkant van het water loop je zo het park in en ook voor langere wandeltochten is dit een goed uitvalsbasis. Daarnaast zijn er ook diverse atb routes.

Geweldig uitzicht, we hebben zelden zo'n mooi uitzicht gehad bij het wakker worden. Er zijn nog heen voorzieningen die staan voor begin 2019 op de planning, maar absoluut de moeite waard.

Heerlijke camping, welke zeker voor de wintersport de moeite waard is. Voor deze prijs krijg je bij een verblijf van 3 of meer dagen de Hochschwarzwald kaart er bij. Dit geeft toegang tot de skipistes, parkeerplaats voor campers aan de piste (normaal €10,00 per dag). Ook diverse zwembaden, musea ed kun je gratis in met deze kaart.

Very nice place to stay with children. The park offers many fun playing facilities such as a playground, water playground and hill slides. The pool is a must.

Quietly situated motorhome. Fine for an overnight stay and a visit to the charming old town center.

Excellent stop over on their way to the snow. Very convenient that you can get a nice fresh breakfast for the door at the Lidl.

Fabulous location. 2 playgrounds for children (1 just before the driveway of the CP, one at the lake). Enough space for our children to play and cycling. Beautiful trails in the area. Bread can be bought at hotel 'Pfeffer & Salz' 10 min walk.

Beautiful campsite with lots of facilities. But the price is not bad. We paid for 4 people (2 adults, 2 toddlers) nearly € 50. Ideal in bad weather or as a stopover with kids after many child-unfriendly campers.

Fine overnight. No playground for children, too much traffic on the CP itself. Handy that a bakery is within walking distance.

Nice location for a walk. Restaurants, playground, miniature golf and luge track nearby. During the day, a little turbulence, but we spent the night and had no problems.
