We arrived during a huge storm, the wind was blowing directly on the camper pitches. Our VW bus was shaking, even with the roof closed. Luckily Shaun also has rooms and we decided to use them for a night. In the fully equipped camping kitchen we could make our dinner. Shaun lit the wood stove for us so that we had a lovely warm evening. Shaun is a super nice host.

I fully agree with previous reviews. Tip for cyclists, you can easily avoid the main road if you want to cycle to Cahir. Just look at the map for the small roads. We only crossed the busy road.

Great campsite for basic campers in a nice village. Very nice campsite owner. We paid €30.00 without electricity. Lovely showers. Campsite owner said he had just installed new shower heads. Cosy pub with Irish music and a good base for The Burren.

Great camping spot, 4 very spacious fields by the stream. fire pits at your own place. Very friendly managers who told us everything about the farm, their cows and their sheep. You can take various walks from the campsite. Please note, very narrow access road, no electricity. We travel with a VW California.

What a nice place! We are there with 1 other camper. There is a lot of mowing going on and there are flies, birds of prey and everything that goes along with it to keep traveling a bit exciting. We don't understand which slope is being talked about? A little bit up...see previous photo. Very friendly owners.

What a great place! It can hardly get more beautiful. Simple but good facilities. What more do you need now than that! This makes 'real' campers happy.

Very good here! Few campers this late in the season. Simple but everything you need is there! very friendly owner.

An absolute must. we have nothing to add to the good reviews. stood 3 nights. We drank delicious coffee and enjoyed delicious homemade delicacies at Marianne's. (cafe in the village, be sure to go to the toilet there, an experience in itself) Walked and cycled. Antonio is worth more than 5 stars!

Great place to visit Matera from here. The walk through the gorge to Matera is definitely recommended. Tip: wear sturdy shoes and don't be too afraid of heights. Everything else good about this place has already been said!

Campsite was closed when we arrived there Oct 6 late. Owner was so sweet to let us stay overnight and turned on the electricity for us. She was surprised at the opening times (1Jan-31 Dec) that are on this app. Is not true. It is a beautiful spot right by the sea in the orchard.

Great site for city visit. Good public transportation to the city. Wifi 4 per 24 hours for 1 device. I downloaded my newspapers on the iPad in the Ikea.

Very sweet people who run this little camp in their back yard. Worth a detour.

Nice place for a day of wellness. Heated shower and toilet, luxury kitchen. Fresh water and cleaning the toilet was no longer possible. Water was shut off. No wifi on site. Because of these 'inconveniences' we did not have to pay the 2nd night. Very friendly staff.

This is the real camping! At the sea in the forest with fire places. You can buy wood in the village shop. Are here entirely alone with our VW camper.

Wonderful place in the middle of nature. silent at night. Wim has shown us a beautiful cycling route through the forest and along the villages. We are impressed by everything he does for the population here. See with your own eyes how much poverty there is in the countryside. A great opportunity to get to know a country with its inhabitants.

A wonderfully messy, friendly site with no perks. The campsite is indeed on the lake. Walk along the tavern on the campsite to the lake (200 m) where there is a private sandy beach with a small harbor where some boats are.
