What a fantastic off-grid camper site. Checking in is smooth via the website; after booking, you receive the address and are personally escorted to the spot. Behind the farmhouse lies a spacious, quiet meadow where you have complete privacy. The nature experience is top-notch. In the evenings, roe deer, cranes, and other wildlife appear around the camper – pure enjoyment. Our dog had plenty of space and loved it. Highly recommended for everyone.

Spacious, green pitches with ample privacy thanks to natural vegetation. All facilities for campers are available and well-maintained. The sanitary facilities are clean and kept tidy. The campsite is located right next to a large off-leash area for dogs, ideal for travelers with four-legged friends. The bread roll service is excellent and makes the morning complete. A lovely place for a relaxing overnight stay.

Camping in a circular arrangement, with plenty of space and all facilities for campers available. The owner is helpful and actively helps to find a nice pitch. It got a bit busier towards the end of the evening, but otherwise it is a fine, small-scale campsite. The sanitary facilities and toilets are spotlessly clean and well-maintained.

Stayed here for the second time after the crossing from Norway. The campsite is located just a 10-minute drive from the ferry, making it a perfect place to land after the journey. The beach is within walking distance and is great fun for the dog. Everything is available for campers: grey and black water disposal, fresh water taps, and spacious pitches. An ideal stopover before or after the boat; neat, quiet, and practically laid out.

What a fantastic campsite. Our spot by the river was really top-notch, and the dog enjoyed all the walking opportunities. Camper facilities are well organized; we only miss a greywater drain. The shower was surprisingly nice: warm, spacious, and super clean. A place we would love to return to.

Fantastic place to stay. The campsite is beautifully situated by the river, with a waterfall nearby and a nice fishing spot. The owners are very friendly and the sanitary facilities are clean. For motorhomes, the facilities are basic: empty the cassette toilet into the regular toilet and dispose of grey water with buckets. Otherwise, absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Levanger Camping is conveniently located near a shopping center and mainly features permanent pitches, making the atmosphere less appealing. The sanitary facilities are good and the showers are pleasant. Washing and drying is hassle-free. All camper amenities are available, although the greywater disposal point is located just outside the campsite. A fine place for a stopover to shower, wash, and get the camper back in order, but not our taste for a longer stay.

Stekenjokk – unique off-grid experience in nature Not experiencing a sunset here is truly an experience. The surroundings are rugged, open, and beautiful for hiking. We were lucky with the weather, which made the experience even better. There are no facilities for campers, so you are completely off-grid among (many) other campers. Pure nature, silence, and space. The experience is more important than the facilities.

Beautiful location right on the lake with a good view. The campsite makes a somewhat messy impression, but the motorhome pitches are spacious. The sanitary facilities are mediocre: small shower cubicles and hot water is not always available. We had a fine meal in the restaurant. For us, it is mainly suitable as a transit campsite.

Lovely, small-scale campsite run by a Dutch couple that started last year. The sanitary facilities are new and clean, and the location by the lake is beautiful. Extensive renovations are underway, meaning the campsite clearly has potential. The restaurant is open from Thursday to Sunday and there is a convenient bread roll service.

Large family campsite, pitches fairly close together, lots of activities for children. So that's fine if you like that kind of thing. We found the sanitary facilities minimal for such a large campsite. Some were dated and small. And not everywhere was equally clean. The campervan facilities were well-maintained.

Great location on the river, wonderful swimming in the warm weather (29 degrees Celsius). Stayed for two days. All facilities are available, and the bathrooms are in good condition. Self-service check-in is easy. The only problem is no greywater disposal, but that's possible in the nearby village. Nothing but praise! 👌

The campsite was clean. The location in Geilo was good for visiting the town. For the size of the campsite, there's only one shower and two toilets. Definitely not enough for men and women. The greywater disposal was also a bit problematic; you're right in front of another camper. So, only one night and then...
