We stay here often, usually to watch the IFKS Skûtsjesilen from here. We find it a perfect campsite just outside the hustle and bustle of lively, beautiful Lemmer. Everything is right here: mooring, maintenance, cleanliness of the sanitary facilities, but above all, the friendly and helpful owner couple.

We were able to park here just fine, even though our camper is 7.5m long. The reception employee didn't know anything about a maximum length either; he just noted that there are campers longer than 7.5m currently parked here. Checking in via the app or website is not necessary for campers; this only applies to reservations for other accommodations on the campsite. We paid for the desired number of nights and received a paper to display in the window as proof of payment. We are enjoying our stay here for 2 nights.

A lovely camping spot on a farm; we were warmly welcomed upon arrival. For children, there is a small playground and various go-karts and pedal tractors. At the front of the campsite, there is a kiosk where dairy products and soft ice cream are for sale from a vending machine. There are fantastic cycling routes in the surrounding area. And the bus stops right in front of the door with a half-hourly schedule to Alphen and Leiden.

Beautiful, small-scale campsite with recently renovated toilet facilities. Lovely view of the bulb region and the dunes, especially at the back of the campsite. Add to that a friendly and very helpful managing couple, which makes it a 5-star campsite.

Our visit to Stellplatz Wittegaard has added another location to our favorites. It's a superbly maintained, flat lawn bordering a beautiful pond with panoramic views in all directions. The two owners are friendly and helpful, and they speak good German. When we mentioned we were planning a bike ride, they offered tips and immediately offered to help us if we had any problems 😀. In short, a campsite we loved.
