Instead of the Alpe di Cermis motorhome site, where it was very busy, we drove on to this campsite. We were given a strip of grass overlooking a caravan, although the surroundings offer beautiful views. There are goats and horses and a small playground. The sanitary facilities are luxurious. The road running along the bottom is very busy and disruptive, even early in the morning. We were required to leave before 11:00, and €54 for 2 people and 2 dogs, excluding electricity, is too expensive.

We didn't like the place and drove on.

It was a long and exciting climb in first gear of our big Fiat, but once at the top, we found a relatively flat stretch of gravel in the semi-shade. It was pleasantly cool there compared to the rest of Europe! There is no view from the parking lot, but if you take one of the walks, the view of the mountains is breathtaking. The place is well-visited by sports enthusiasts during the day and truly dead silent at night!
