The campsite is still beautiful, but what some so-called campers are doing (and I'm calling a spade a spade) is disgusting. They're relieving themselves in the small wooded areas, and judging by the smell, they're also emptying chemical toilets into the ground. To all responsible campers: if you see this, confront these scumbags; they're ruining everything.

Everything is as described, a fantastic place. The only thing missing was a boat for fishing. We were only offered a rowboat.

Thanks to the municipality of Neuschönau for this space. Everything else has already been described.

A nice campsite with garbage disposal and a very good view with a ground-level entrance. Thanks to the town of Zwiesel. For dinner, I can recommend the Dampfbier Brewery.

It borders on extortion; it actually is extortion. Charging €20 plus €2.50 per person in tourist tax for a spot with nothing is outrageous. Last year, the pitch was reportedly still costing €12.

The place for the camper vans is very nice, but I don't know about the food. We ate 1 Wienerschnitze (veal) and 3 Cordon Bleu, the Cordon Bleu were ready-made products (convenience food) and at a high price. Taste-wise!!! The star is only because of the place.

We were at this lovely campsite last night. But this morning a motorhome drove away and dumped its waste water on the site. When I confronted him about it, he became aggressive. I took a photo of the car. Nobody needs so-called campers like that. They destroy everything.

The parking lot is closed. There are signs everywhere saying it is closed. Was here today. 12.6.24

The parking space here is currently a construction site (June 2024) as a new lift is being built. You can stay overnight with restrictions. The view is fantastic.
