Fine parking lot for an overnight stay, small spots. When it's full, it's not as nice anymore. Visiting Basel is a 3 km bike ride or walk, partly through a beautiful park. When paying (€15) at the swimming pool, you receive a card to place behind your camper window, an exit token, and also a discount voucher (20%) for the pool/sauna. Very nice sauna complex, not expensive.

Spacious, quiet campsite with generous pitches. Friendly welcome, they speak some English. Sanitary facilities are excellent. Nice little restaurant, playground, and swimming pool (it was closed when we visited in March). They also sell some local products and leather goods. From here, we took a two-day trip to Stromboli with Liberty Lines and stayed in a B&B on the island. We could stay in our campervan for €10.

Nice camper site at the marina. Several good restaurants nearby. Very tidy. The fair wasn't in session; we were there in February 2026. Cycling (electric) to Agrigento and the archaeological sites is easy. Free site, no amenities. Leave it tidy 😉; that's nice for the next visitors and prevents a sign saying "Campers not allowed."🤨

Great place to stay overnight, within walking distance of the historic center. We were there in January, and there were plenty of spaces. Early in the morning, parking drivers who work in the city arrive. It empties out again in the evening. Note that there's no match in the adjacent football stadium; it can get crowded and noisy then. Tip: visit the Stradivarius violin museum. On weekends, there are short concerts featuring a Stradivarius violin.
