place is open. (Beginning of July) as described very idyllic. late arrival not an issue. This can be clarified over the phone

Good place to stay in Verona. The place itself is mostly made up of lawn, the paths are gravel. The sanitary facilities are open-air, there are 4 showers, washbasins and a standing toilet each. There is a seat bowl in the wheelchair toilet. At night, strong LED masts illuminate the square, which is very bright. Access to the site is via telephone at night. It is a 15-minute bike ride to the old town

A nice, simple campsite with a few limitations. The place consists mainly of chalets (mobile homes) and permanent campers, the plots for caravans / motorhomes / tents are all very level and gravel. The stones are sometimes a bit sharp, but everything is clean and there is no sand flying around. There is electricity, clotheslines and a water supply and a double sink with cold drinking water at each place. To rinse, we have brought 10 liters of hot water from the showers. Not all places are equivalent in terms of sunshine, shade, noise and generosity. But they all have in common that they are clearly parceled out. We have changed to No. 25 and are very satisfied: In the morning shade, at noon a big tree also casts shadows and in the afternoon / evening we still have sun. Anyone who is sensitive to noise, should look further back at the place something: Opposite us is the pizzeria La Source and there is on the weekend always karaoke (until mid-Sep) and that means funny music until about 23/23: 30 clock. Croissants and baguette can be ordered at the front desk, the nearest bakery is in La Couronne, about 10 minutes by bike. There is Mi and Sa market, also there is a small supermarket and various shops, butcher, etc. The Train station has a connection to Marseille every hour, the journey takes 45 min, well worth it. From the train station also a bus line leads to the square, but it is poorly coordinated, it is better to walk (25 min) or take the bike. At the place itself, the sanitary facilities are simple and clean: 3 showers, 3 sinks and m / w only 2 toilets, which are also right at the entrance. This is not for everyone. The disposal is a bit unusual: At the 24th place (Wohnhaus der Platzmeister) there is a small shaft in the sewerage on the left. There into it with the chemistry WC and rinse out opposite with the hose. Best to let in ... Gray water before or just by bucket into the sink. The beach is 5 minutes walk. The bay is beautiful: fine sandy beach, shallow water, right and left rocks, little shade and a very clean public toilet. In summer there are snacks etc. to buy. We have been here for a week and are still staying - too beautiful, even in autumn. Now mid-Sep. but we still pay 25 euros for the place with WoMo plus 4.50 electricity / day, a bit too high ...
