Actually more of a luxury motorhome site than a campsite. Gravel-paved pitches with a patch of grass in front of you. Not spacious, but certainly sufficient. Sanitary facilities are very clean. The campsite fills up quickly, so book in advance or arrive early. Even in the last week of September. Adding to the rest, it is a very busy, lively student city with plenty of shops and dining options. And as for cycling, it is the 'Fahrradstad' (cycling capital) of Germany, with numerous cycle routes in the surrounding area.

A real, quaint Italian terraced campsite. Pitches are not spacious and there are many olive trees that an alcove camper cannot pass under. Inquire in advance as larger pitches up to 7.5 meters are very limited. Sanitary facilities are old but spotlessly clean. Small bar like a village pub. Technically 3 stars, but the location and the super-friendly German and Dutch-speaking owners with their authentic character make it a 4. But tastes differ.

Neat pitches with well-maintained sanitary facilities. Payment via the kiosk is very easy. However, there is a constant coming and going of planes during the day. To Treviso toll via a good cycle path.

Simply a well-maintained campsite serving as a nice base in the Prosecco region, offering many beautiful views, tastings, and cycling tours. The campsite has good facilities, and the policy is clear and consistent. You can have all sorts of opinions about it, but as a guest, you simply know where you stand. Great.

Great place. Sanitary facilities are top-notch. Pitches are spacious, but otherwise it is simple. With tourist tax of 42 euros, it is quite pricey. The village is within 15 minutes.

The campsite is now privately owned and they are in transition. The sanitary facilities have been refreshed and everything is working properly. There are many new rental options, including glamping and bivouacking. There are also pitches with private sanitary facilities. It is pitch dark, but it is a start and will only get better. Briare is very nice, featuring the longest aqueduct canal in the world from the 19th century. There is plenty of walking and cycling to be enjoyed with the various chateaus along the Loire.

Mediocre campsite. Large, messy, and severely outdated sanitary facilities. Reasonably clean. Everything goes through with just one cloth and spray. Nice for cycling. 6 km from the beach. Mimizan Plage is a real coastal town with lots of restaurants, bars, and shops. It will be quite full in the summer. Fine for a few days.

A truly Spanish campsite. Always a bit lively, but simply good. Completely new sanitary facilities and hot water everywhere. Beautiful location with rock formations and bays. Pitches are spacious enough, but above 7.5 m it becomes difficult. Driving up is as described, just be careful. Food and drink is fine and cheap. Bread and such are available. A slightly larger supermarket is 5 km away.

Beautiful location and a great base for visiting San Sebastián, for example, by bike or public transport. Shuttle service to the station. Sanitary facilities are good but get dirty quickly. Walking to the beach is tough; better by bike to Zarautz, which also has a nice boulevard. Price 48. XL extra 5 euros. You wouldn't guess it from the size.

Surprisingly good municipal campsite. With swimming pool (5x10) and sunbeds. Playground equipment and boules court. Sanitary facilities dated but neatly maintained. Good hot showers. Very spacious pitches. Location is top-notch. Avallon is within walking distance with plenty of really good restaurants. Only the grass and hedges are poorly maintained. 5 stars because of the surprise. Actually worthy of 4.
