A classic Autocaravaning site. No electricity but everything else, including a bike maintenance point! A walk past the sports field allows a stroll along the stream through a long arboretum into the hills. A longer route by main roads enables an easier access to Bilbao than my Garmin gave… Under the flight path but it’s quiet at night.

A very nice site which is well maintained. It was so nice to be given a selection of guides to visit and travel around, without having to hunt through brochures which you take just in case. You are advised to book ahead as it was permanently full when we were there!

A well maintained site very close to many places, even by bike. We were worried that it might be full, but it seems to tick over at around 50%. Even though the website is all in Dutch, it is all well set up for English and German.

The site is pleasant with nice views over the fields. The sanitary facilities were all kept clean and in good order. Water and power at every pitch is nice. As previously mentioned the facilities for dog walking are very limited, particularly when we found that no dogs are allowed (even on a lead) at the Bussloo Country Park from 1st May until 1st October . I sleep lightly, but had no problem with noise from the motorway.

This is close to the river, such that several pitches were taped off to avoid getting stuck. Increasing the number of hard standing pitches would make this site a lot better. Also shouldn’t be so difficult to have the toilets open for more than 2 months a year should it?

Good standard of camping-car park site. The toilets and showers were a nice added bonus.

A classic Camping-car park site. The train noise was low for us, but it was a Friday night. Great access down to the river walks, and also the city. it is not clear how you can access the toilets, but it appears to cost 2 euros if you did?

we went here after finding the other 2 options in Badajoz full or closed. At present it is right in the middle of major road works. Decide not to stop as nowhere safe to exercise our dog.

The reception were very polite and helpful. The site is let down by lack of demarcation which results in many pitches being partially blocked. No problem with shower temperature for us. only a short walk to decent supermarket and Alvor. Would go there again.

I don’t understand the poor reviews for this site. There are hundreds of pitches ,some sunny and some shaded. If you have a larger van then access to some pitches is not possible. You can move We paid 18.5 euros per night for 2 adults,dog, EHU, and vehicle >6m. Hot showers clean toilets, restaurant and bar, supermarket/ bakery all included. We paid this for a carpark in Cordoba with one toilet. I know what we prefer!
