Good free overnight spot with clean toilets and sinks with hot water. However, it is no longer possible to park a little further from the road by a small lake (nothing special, by the way), as reviewer HMMT described, because boulders have been placed on the paths making access impossible.

Simple campsite in a beautiful location by a lake, with full sanitary facilities, somewhat dated but clean. Very friendly welcome, good information, and within walking distance of the beautiful Natursenter, which should not be missed. The panoramic “bird’s eye view” film about Hardangervida is stunning.

There was no one at reception when we arrived on 04-06-2026. But by calling the number on the door, it turned out that we could simply choose a pitch and that the lady we spoke to would come the next morning to settle the bill. She also immediately sent the code for the sanitary building. Very large, typical winter campsite with mobile homes, mostly unused. But the heated building with sanitary facilities including a kitchen: perfect.

This campsite was closed when we were there on June 4, 2026. This was not apparent from the information on the website. We were able to stay at Moen Hytter & Camping, located a little further away.

Excellent overnight stop on the beautiful Sognefjellet scenic route 55 between Gaupne and Lom. The two public toilets are clean and heated, and it is also a good place to freshen up in the morning. A popular spot; by early June, there were already about 10 campers there. Arriving early means a greater chance of finding a level spot.

Excellent campsite by the river, though constant noise from the E6. Approx. 3.5 km to KIWI supermarket in Ringebu. With ACSI in the shoulder season €27. Great base for the beautiful scenic route, Road 27, along the east side of Rondane NP.

Campsite directly on RV25. No pitches within walking distance. Winter campsite; we were the only ones there in May, a few weeks after the end of the high (winter) season. Good overnight stop for travelers passing through. The campsite gives a messy impression, with abandoned mobile homes for the winter guests. However, this is compensated by the good sanitary facilities and the very friendly owner, Björn, who is also happy to show off his Huskies and talk about them. We paid NOK 390.

Small, cozy pitch/campsite on the edge of Rättvik. Excellent shower, great water for washing dishes. We paid €27.

Nice, free spot by the lake at a small marina. No facilities, therefore not 4 stars. 350m further on is a similar pitch, Nusnäss alter bootsclub, which is not free, but has a toilet. Payment via QR code, after which you were supposed to receive the PIN for the toilet, did not work, so we chose Nusnäss Hamn. By the way, the toilet door was open, dislodged, and could not be closed.

I won't repeat what all the previous positive reviewers have mentioned, but without a doubt 5 stars.

For the sake of clarity: the campervan site is the small parking lot, directly to the right behind the metro station. Campervans are not allowed to park in the large parking lot, which is free. In the small parking lot, campervans may park for a fee (Mot avgift) during the week (Man-Fre) and for free from Saturday 00:00 to Sunday 24:00. See the photo with the round, white traffic sign with a black border and diagonal. This was confirmed by our Norwegian neighbor.

Excellent camper pitch at the marina. As an addition to previous reviews: in the building accessible by code, there is one toilet (men/women) and a few showers. There are also toilets in the small building opposite. You do not need a code here. And here you can wash dishes indoors in the women's toilet.

Good for an overnight stay before or after the arrival of the planned crossing. Public toilets can be found in the Scandlines building, open day and night. You can reach it via the wooden pedestrian bridge across the road from the car park.

We had a remarkably different experience than many other reviewers. We paid only €47 for 2 days in mid-May 2026 (camper shorter than 7 meters, 2 people, assigned pitch, with electricity). The explanation is that we had booked 2 weeks in advance with an online discount and senior discount. Nice campsite, good facilities, and an excellent location for exploring the beautiful peninsula.

The pitches on the site for campervans and caravans are all hardstanding. Excellent sanitary facilities are available. Reception is in the café, which is also part of the holiday park at the foot of Brecon Beacons National Park.

Excellent location. In a parking lot on the Thames in Abingdon. At the payment machine, first press # for the special motorhome rate: £10 for 24 hours. There are four spaces for motorhomes. Toilets are available 24 hours a day. The cost is 20p, and payment by card only. Across the bridge to the city center, 10 minutes away, with plenty of restaurants. We had a great meal at Que Pasa. Lovely walk along the Thames.

Very good (for a campervan site) in terms of location, toilets, supermarket, fish and chips. The name isn't Romney Sands Car Park, but Lade Car Park in Lydd-on-Sea. Close to the unique town of Dungeness (3km) with its lighthouses, narrow-gauge railway to Hythe, expansive pebble beach, old fishing junk, and nuclear power station.

Entering the P&R is done via license plate recognition. Pay at the machine at the kiosk (also restrooms, open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM) just before you leave the next day. Enter the license plate number, and the machine will display the amount that can be paid by card.

Acceptable if you arrive late and leave early in the morning. On an industrial estate. In front of a large camping shop, which is closing down, by the way. No amenities.

Beautifully situated campsite, directly on the Loire à Vélo cycle route. Both sanitary buildings are now fully in use. Restaurant next to the campsite, but over the bridge on the left there is more choice. We ate there excellently at Chez Miko, a special combination of butcher and petit restaurant.

Good campsite, close to La Dolce Via. Mostly Dutch caravans. Wifi and 3G slow. We paid in the pre (Acsi discount) season €28 while the Acsi website indicates €23. Many places with shade.

Good campsite, 7km north of the AP-2 between Zaragoza and Lleida. We were here more often. The manager sometimes does not show up, then you are free. This time we paid €15 and €1 for 6 hours of electricity. If you travel south there is a beautiful route through to Teruel, cross the AP2, to Alcañiz N-211 and later the N-420 to Teruel. The part to Alcañiz is desert-like, strongly reminiscent of Arizona.

Laguna Playa has become busier after the closure of the old Camping Torre del Mar. Large shady areas. In many places you have neighbors on 4 sides. Little privacy due to the lack of green separations. Of the two sanitary units, the unit on the city side has undergone a great update. It is cleaned frequently. Temporarily 3 stars due to the construction work between the campsite and the city. We paid €28 p.n. in May.

On the P of a hypermarket. Separate lane for campers on the edge with a nice view. In the hypermarket also toilets and a cafeteria. Open long, but closed on Sundays.

Nice camping for bikes on the V.V. Sierra Norte de Sevilla. Sanitary is up to date. Mobile internet was also not possible during our stay, but Wifi on the camping usually worked, even on the pitches.

Fine for a night in the pre- or post-season, there are no tourist buses then. In a somewhat neglected building on the P are toilets and sinks, no lighting, but doable. The location is perfect, you can walk to the center with the beautiful monastery church, the most beautiful in Spain. Many good restaurants.

Terraced campsite with mainly permanent pitches (cottages/caravans). In between a number of free pitches with electricity and water. Good, clean sanitary facilities in a central building, but no possibility to wash dishes. Wash dishes in sink at the camper (cold water). Campsite cafeteria only open on Saturday and Sunday, but there are 2 restaurants in the village. Beautiful surroundings for walking to a Mirador. €18 in May.

Nice, shady spot with a nice view. At the adjacent go-kart track there are 3 toilets, of which only one flushed.

Excellent campsite on a location with cottages and an excellent restaurant. Negative: no possibility to empty dirty water and the cassette. The spectacular feeding of griffon vultures every Saturday 10:00 at Santa Cilia, P Norte. 5km from Panzano, steep road, narrow streets in Santa Cilia. With the camper better park at P Sur, than walk 450m up to P Norte.

Excellent overnight stay. We paid €11 in April for electricity, unlimited water and emptying cassette and dirty water tank. Sufficient space in the compartments, also for using the awning. Access by buying a ticket with a code at the column, ticket needed when leaving. Skip connecting to the internet.

Contrary to CC information this campsite was closed in April 2025, opens May 1st. We stayed at the nearby Aire de Campingcar des Pommiers. 100m back on the road. Excellent, see review at site code 98165.

The sanitary facilities (individual cabins, showers, toilets, hot water also for washing up) are more than adequate. Not a “beautiful” campsite. Chosen for Loire à Vélo.

Now only the grey water can be emptied. Previously also the cassette and there was a power connection. Better to drive half an hour to Charleville-Mezieres.

We regularly visit this campsite. It is visibly deteriorating: broken electricity poles, leaking taps, dilapidated sanitary facilities. Too bad because the location is great: ideal stopover from or to the south and within walking distance of the beautiful Place Ducale.

Good camper place with the possibility to buy electricity and water (we did not do this). The walk to Planfoy of approx. 1.3 km on the path that starts in front of the camper place is quite steep at the end and especially very stony. Sturdy walking shoes required.

If you want to avoid the overcrowded (also in late spring and early autumn) campsites in Avignon, L’ille des Papes is a good alternative. 8km by bike on a good cycle path along the Rhône from Avignon. Campers and caravans are under the trees, separated from the cottages. Good, new sanitary facilities with spacious showers. We paid €22 end of September '24.

Perfect campsite in a beautiful location. Grass/paved. Bakery in Le Verney 15min. walk. Restaurant Les Glaciers in Bramans 15min. walk. Walks “Hanibal trails” from the campsite, also along the river Arc. On 22/09/24 we paid €18.30 (Acsi).

Great camper with a good price: €25 (Acsi). Only downside: no fresh bread in the camping shop (Castiglione della Pescaia is almost 8km by bike). But the adjacent camping Baia Azzura does have it.

Completely agree with previous positive reviews. A shortcoming: there is no opportunity to do the dishes.

Excellent camper place at the marina. Small, 13 places. Fills up quickly, even in the early season. Price €17. Addition to an earlier review: there is a washing-up area, not in the white sanitary building, but in the area with the green roof near the boats.

Excellent, large campsite on the southern edge of Marburg. 10min. walk to center. The campsite is located on the Lahn and the Lahnrad-/Lahnwanderweg. Reservations by telephone are not possible, but must be made via a long form on the website. When booking you can see on which days places are available. Price €29 incl. electricity, shower, water, empty cassette, (good) WiFi. €10 deposit for key (good) sanitary facilities. Disadvantage: constant noise from nearby B3.

Nice, special campsite. Predominantly permanent/seasonal guests in cottages and caravans. Limited number of places for campers. Call in advance and upon arrival, the owners (both 88 years old!) are rarely seen on the property. No possibility was seen for discharging gray water. Toilet cassette must be emptied in the toilet in the private sanitary building (sink, shower, toilet, heating and some with cooking facilities). €27 incl. electricity.

Nice camper place near the marina and impressive lock. Somewhat dated, but good facilities. Electricity costs according to consumption. Averages out to €5 in the coin machine for approx. 20 hours. The place €20. Dömitz, on the former East German side of the Elbe border river, still exudes a 1950s atmosphere here and there with overdue maintenance. A border police watchtower is still there.

The best place to visit the chalk cliffs. After having drawn a parking ticket, first look for a free place with electricity. With the number of the connection to the cash register. The power is connected there for the number of days you want to stay. You do not pay for the camper place there, but at one of the machines (cash or card) upon departure.

Excellent campsite with a price that is friendly to Rügen, an exception on the island. Good facilities. 25min. cycling to Sassnitz.

Register in advance: better by calling than by email. There is no shower, but there is a toilet in the garage company office where you register and pay.

After paying at the machine, you can drive onto the campsite. But you are not allowed to choose a place yourself. Places may be reserved, but this cannot be seen. So first go to the campsite owner who allocates a place. Very large site, many places are far away from the (excellent!) sanitary facilities and the WiFi is also weak there.

The many strong points of this campsite have been sufficiently described in previous reviews. Addition with a weak point: poorly lit when it gets dark. Not a problem in itself, but here it is due to the many stairs/steps to both sanitary units.

Indeed a nice town with a large indoor shopping center (including Carrefour) on the edge. Unfortunately, we could not find the CP: the indicated coordinates are incorrect and our navigation system does not recognize the specified street.

Pleasant campsite in transit to/from the south. The manager is usually not there. According to a regular Spanish guest, camping is now (temporarily) free. All basic facilities are available including hot water. Electricity is paid: €1 per 6 hours. Plug in meter cupboard, button in corresponding position (1, 2 or 3, from top to bottom) euro in the slot.

Great location, beautiful grounds, friendly staff. 20min. walk to the center of Niederbronn. You can walk into the hills directly from the campsite. Mediocre sanitary facilities, a shower door could not be closed, many leaking taps.

Great campsite not far from the beautiful town of Stamford. Fairly remote, no village within walking distance. The price, with electricity, is now £25.

Great motorhome without facilities, but the toilet at the shop in a beautiful crofters cottage is also open at night. A walk around the beautiful lake is a must.

Unique place: approx. 550m high, overlooking a huge, empty, barren plain all around. Cozy Inn, good food. Very basic as a motorhome: a few places next to and in front of the Inn, not a flat. Very popular, in season, during bank holidays and weekends small chance of a place. We stood with others at the side of the road, blocks used, free. One toilet and shower, which gets dirty quickly.

Of the 2 camper spots in the village, this one is closest to the excellent sanitary facilities in the "Sportboothafen". Nevertheless, a good walk. Fine for a night before or after the Elbe ferry.

We chose this fine campsite after first staying at the massive campsite in Geiranger. Lovely walk along the waterfall over steps to Geiranger.

Two additions to the previous very positive reviews that we endorse. Walking through beautiful Mølle Parken behind the large food factory and along the fjord, in front of the houses. Only downside: you can hear the factory all day and night.

Excellent motorhome parking at the marina and the center of Kristiansund. Toilets and showers are located behind the Kulturfabrikken in a separate building. The best seats are at the end, overlooking marina. Special old wharf, ships and maritime museum at 200m.

Campsite with good facilities in a - for the Lofoten - mediocre location. Poor quality/price ratio: we paid 39 euros (camper, 2 pers., electric) excluding shower.

This and the other nearby small motorhome park in the beautiful, but busy, touristic Trosa fill up quickly, even in the spring. We escaped to the camping Trosa Havsbad & Camping 4 km away on the island (accessible via a dam at the harbor) Öbolandet. Highly recommended (5 stars). Excellent amenities, beautifully located, €24 (May 2022). Camping is on Campercontact map, but is not described.

Excellent, popular motorhome with all amenities near Gränna. On gravel with a strip of artificial grass for each camper.

Quite expensive: we paid approx. €80 for 2 people, 2 nights, May 2022. Annoying card system. Even toilet visits have to be paid. Credit on card runs out quickly. You can only top up during reception opening hours (until 20:00). In 45 minutes by bus 250S to central station/Tivoli.

Excellent camper place about 25km before Puttgarden/Fehmarn ferry to Rødby Denmark and close to the beach with some restaurants and campsites. No toilet. Pay in machine, only cash (€16 May 2022) no card payment.

Beautiful, wooded campsite near the old town of Hervás. the campsite has a restaurant that is only open on weekends outside the high season. At the old station of Hervás you have access to one of the most beautiful Via Verdes (cycling, walking) in Spain.

In itself a good city campsite, we were there before, but this time the campsite was already closed on October 10, so earlier than indicated on camper contact (would be open until October 14). It also opened later: not on March 30, but June 6. Always check opening times in pre- and post-season.

Despite the fact that this motorhome is a bit further from the cathedral than motorhome Parking du Bondidou, we preferred this. Only 750m walk to the center and there are some amenities.

We checked out all 3 places. This is surely the best, outside the high season at least, because busy. At the foot of the rocks with former cave houses. Location: do not follow the navigation system, you will be stuck in the town, but just the motorhome signs on the edge of Arguedas.

Excellent site, high above Sunbilla. Sunbilla is located on Via Verde de Bidasoa, a beautiful cycle path along the river over an old railway. The access road is a "butt squeezer", but short and indeed doable.

Simple campsite with beautiful gardens and greenhouse. Certainly not a mini campsite, several fields demarcated with hedges for a number of caravans / campers. Quiet places on the outskirts; however, no power connections there. Gray water simply discharges into a sewage pit in a difficult place.

If you make a nice trip along the Douro this is a good motorhome. Mid May 2019 the toilet in the building near the uncovered events hall was closed. It seems strongly that this is permanent. There is an outside tap. We were only here with another camper.

In terms of location ideal accommodation for a walk on the High Fens. Not so successful. We were there on a Thursday at the beginning of September. The restaurant is closed on Thursdays. Moreover, we were alone in this deserted area at night. Next time, take the campsite in Waimes (20 minutes by bike).

We have been on both campsites in Torre del Mar for several years. In the months of April, May and September. We like this one, Laguna Playa. Choose a place yourself. Good sanitary and WIFI and just pay with a bank card. From October, both campsites are overcrowded with hibernators.

One of the most beautifully situated campsites in Spain. At 800m above the vast plain between Huesca and Zaragoza and the Pirineos. The village is 200 m lower and the special castle (recommended) is 200 m higher. Steep but great way up. The camping facilities are simple but ok The restaurant is excellent.

Nice, but busy site with reasonably good facilities. WIFI 4 days free for 1 device. Located between Agde and Grau d 'Agde.

Simple campsite on the outskirts of Cortegana. Renovation of sanitary building still ongoing in 2019. Winter and early spring euro 18; rest of the year 19.50 (2 people, camper, electricity). Simple bar.

There are several camper pitches and a campsite in Zaragoza. The campsite is not great, very expensive and 5 km from the center. This is the best motorhome, 3 km from the center and also with a tram stop next to it. Large supermarket at 300m. Apart from clean water and a discharge point, no further facilities.

No facilities, but there is a public toilet at 200m on the outskirts of the beautiful town of Montpeyroux. It is actually the parking lot of a petting zoo. Located right next to / above the A75 below Clermond Ferrand. Very busy on weekends and public holidays, but completely abandoned after closing time.

Good, tree-rich campsite on the outskirts of the town and hiking area. Sanitary is good; sinks are small but adequate. Hot water everywhere. Wifi signal is not strong everywhere on the site, but downloading the newspaper and listening to Langs de Lijn went well.

Good camper place within walking distance of restaurants and supermarket in North. Sanitary is well maintained. Underground is predominantly grass, but with 2 campers we could stand in paved areas in front of the actual campsite. Necessary because the terrain was soggy after a long rainy period. We paid 12.50 pn in the winter season.

Correction on previous review (stay date 20-09-2017): there is a shower. Not indicated where it is located; ask the friendly manager. The toilets are in the Masseria. No access late at night and at night.

Rather expensive for a motorhome without sanitation. At the self check-in (the campsite is unmanned) you have to purchase a Pass' Stages a 4 euro and then load it with the required amount for your stay. Wifi and electricity included. A few hundred meters to the north and to the south there are campsites with better facilities.

Also an excellent campsite in spring and autumn. Walk to the nearby gorge and villages.

Very good campsite in the valley (Glen) of the Aherlow. Helpful staff informs extensively about walking possibilities. No shops nearby. Shopping in Tipperary or Bansha (depending on driveway). Good restaurant at 2km, Aherlow hotel.

Beautifully situated nature campsite within walking distance (15min.) Of Brockenhurst (shops, supermarket). We paid with a camper and 2 people 17 pounds, almost 20 euros, late May 2017. No electricity.

This was already a great motorhome at a cozy marina, but even better by adjusting the power supply for campers. It was freezing quite when we were there, so the warm, excellent sanitary facilities were greatly appreciated. WiFi reception is good, even back in the field. Wonderful location on the Merwede, near ferries.

Good camping within walking distance of the heart of Vezelay. In the area of ​​L'Auberge de Jeunesse, which is also the name of the site and not L 'Ermitage.

Good campsite with very spacious pitches on the field below the "streets" closer to the reception, restaurant, pool and shop. We were here to visit the beautiful natural park Ordesa y Monte Perdido. In the summer, you are not allowed to drive into the car park, but then drive excellent shuttle buses to the approximately 15min. depart from the information in Torla.

Nice 3km walk along the river to the city center through to the Old Bridge Puente de St.Maria. Cathedral beats everything. The camp is ok Well pressure. The daily menu in the restaurant is very cheap, but not recommended.

On the outskirts of Segovia. Shade, good facilities; wifi only near the reception.

Huge, luxury camping with all the associated equipment. Over-organized. Even with a few hundred houses and mobile homes. Certainly not our preference, but it is close to the magnificent monastery-palace Escorial that we wanted to visit.

Excellent location (see review of Ietje55), excellent amenities. Camping is popular with campers long / winter. Camping can be a bit noisy on weekend kameerders. Camp is full in high season.

A top-10 motor home in the Netherlands. Enrollment in the pavilion, about 500m, where you can also order sandwiches. Well samitair. Ferry at 1km across the Meuse to Megen. Nice walk around the recreation pool and the gardens of Appeltern is 3.5km.

A large field with a few shady spots, at a bar where two toilets. There is at RV site but one shower without roof and door (broken) and in any case only cold water at the end of the afternoon. Shower Coin need is included in the price. It is a small 200m walk to a beautiful beach.

Here you should not as individualistic motor home owner. A car park, very busy.

Fine RV Park. Hot water in both showers, but only in designated, limited times (morning and evening). There is no toilet. Not logical to here the same facilities to expect when on one of the countless campsites on the Lake at Bolsena.

Despite the fact that the campsite open all year round would be ie was closed on the day that we wanted to camp, 20 september 2014.

Beautiful location. Subsurface is now fine, even in wet weather. Good restaurant on the quay. 2 Public Toilets on the other side of the quay. We had a problem with the pay machine (ticket not readable) and therefore could not leave. The info Board mentions phone number dialed than should be. After a half hour, there was someone who solved the problem.

Groomed camper place with good facilities. The contact information of Camper is not correct at one point above: you must precisely not sign up at the reception of the 200 m distant Compass camping.
