I don't really understand all the negative reviews. If you don't act too stupidly and maneuver with a bit of caution, you can park perfectly here, even with a 7.50-meter-long camper. The only problem—if any—is the beautiful old trees. It would be a shame to cut them down. So, just be careful. And—hey guys: The site is free. So, thanks to the municipality.

Since the last review was so long ago, here's an update (March 28, 2025): This site still exists and offers easy parking and overnight accommodations at the harbor – just a few hundred meters from the stairs leading up to the truly picturesque old town. There are several options for parking at the harbor. Ideal for any self-sufficient camper who can do without waste disposal and water for a night or two.

What more could you want - the place is easy to reach with the camper, you stand in the shade under the trees and in half an hour you are in the heart of this great city on foot. A heavenly peace, a beautiful, small parking space in the middle of the vineyards and a wonderful view over the rows of vines to the two church towers of Edenkoben - here the camper can really let his soul be caressed.
