Stayed here 25.3.22. Had a drink and small lunch (cheese board & bowl of chips to share). Walked into Skipton and back. Good night sleep. Woke to sunrise and great frosty views. Were going to have breakfast but decided to get an early start on next journey. Really friendly staff. Huge car park but don't park by logs near memorial gardens 😉

18.3.22-Just an update, charge now £15 for 1 night, £25 for 2 nights. 2 nights max. You need coins or card, machine is slow so be patient. New sign says no parking up overnight in other bays. Sluce in car park further along the road, although have not checked it out recently have used before. Still a great facility and always popular but we managed to get in at 9.45 a.m. and another van pulled out at 10 a.m. so another place for early birds

We stayed here a couple of years ago. Grass pitches can get boggy in bad weather Basic loo/showers. Owners very friendly. You can walk to Otley from here but uphill on way back

Great little place. Here early March 2022. paid £25 p.n. incl ehu. Facilities basic but if you know in advance - 1 tap for water and old loo (no way to wash out) for elsan. Museum and cafe run by friendly volunteers. Easy flat walk to beach and town. Morrisons close - no lpg. Secure with cctv and quiet at night. Very wet currently so we stayed on tarmac carpark. Would use again.

As other people have said great place. Looked closed but rang tel no on reception and chap said just push the gate and make yourself at home. Somebody will call tonight to do paperwork etc. Nobody came so put money in a plastic bag and put it under traffic cone by reception then texted him to say where it was. We were on our own but felt safe and slept well. Repsol garage with LPG close by!

Improvements each year we have been. Prices per month up by €30 in 2020 so now €230 no elec/€280 not on front (but could be anywhere else and not only on 2nd row!) and €380 on front BOOK online if you want to stay as it seems to be full everyday..

Here now. Popped over the road to ask if it was OK to stay. Friendly welcome. Comfy sofas. Food on the expensive side, but we are from up North! Pub closed at 6 p.m. on Sunday until Tuesday a.m. 😉 Very busy road but OK for a night.

Here again. Nothing new to report. Tent, caravan or motorhome great for all. Still £11 pn + £2.50 elec if you need it. Showers, loos, elsan etc. Edge of nice Yorkshire village with PO and Pub. Bus to local town stops here. Train station about a mile with good connections. Leeds, Halifax, Skipton, Saltaire, Keighley/Haworth steam trains, Ilkley, Otley, Harrogate and more. Walking, cycling etc.

Stopped here on way home from ferry. Four other vans here. Enjoyed a meal in the pub. Quiet night and good sleep. Just what was needed.

+ Stayed here b4 for ferry. Nice views. Water, elec & drain on hardstanding pitches. Heated pool. - Some pitches very tight, difficult for MHs/larger caravans. Shop only has real basics. Mercadona 20 min drive away. Washing machines filthy. Had to clean b4 use. Reported but still same 5 days later. Some return visitors got wine or free nights, but not everyone! Will try somewhere else next time.

Great stop off. Water & waste. Shops/town short walk. TI friendly ✋ Parked in bay at the side. Had to shout to stop driver backing out into us. They had just hit the car parked next to them! We moved so they could get out without doing us damage. Car bays are small/narrow, makes it difficult for people to get in & out. Moved to bays at top but a bit tight especially if others park on the line!

We drove in to car park this morning (from a car park in Catalayud) but did not fancy staying. A few other vans there all scrunched up in a corner. It just felt grim. Drove on to Aranda de Duero and parked up in a different car park, which felt much better. Call me a car park snob 😂

Good pitches. Friendly staff. Quiet location and town near to Gandia. Showers and loo could do with updating.

Great stop over. Don't forget to have a good look round the Old Town which is full of little gems. Worth the effort.

New showers and washers are good. Old loos are not so good. Staff V friendly and helpful. Good location for Malaga visits.

As previously said very busy now. Just started on an overflow area which may help but will make showers, washer busier! Very noisy at times. People not seeming to care about others on the site. One chap kept playing his guitar and singing/shouting out of tune. People leaving barking/whining dogs in their vans whilst they went out. Up to 5 dogs off site barking on & off through the night.

Close to beach/proms/salinas & shops also childrens fun fair which can be open late. Shower water hot/cold/hot and not that clean. Staff we met were nice. Bar/pool area clinical & empty most of the time, even though it was well into 20s. Long-term winter campers of all nationalities some of whom seem to think they own the place. Far too expensive @€27 pn. Paid a lot less for a lot more.

Good place for a night or longer. We stayed 2 wks due to rain. Harbour staff very friendly. Solid base, no huge puddles when it rains. Loo, showers, washer & dryer. Bars, cafes, shops - Lidl, Aldi & Mercadona. Great walk/cycle along the front to Torre del Mar. Working marina so some noise but not too bad. €9.55 pn. Elec 0.96 per 12 hrs! €3 for loo & water = €14.47 if you empty loo every day.

2nd time here. Busier this time about 20 here but still plenty of space.Great views of marina, rock etc. Just right if you have been away from home for a while and need a bit of Britishness. Bacon butty and cuppa at Morrisons did the trick for us. Just follow the concrete blocks from the roundabout!

14.11.18 Two parts to this aire, in winter. One by the facilities, water (now fixed), waste and loo and the other round the corner by the beach. At least five long term mhs, complete with cars, trailers, motorbikes, huge solar systems etc. A bit tight at times when double axle vans come up to empty out. Fun watching them negotiate mini roundabout. Town 2 + miles gd cycling lanes. Boardwalk great.

11.11.18 - Town Hall has totallystopped motorhomes parking here. Small campervans seem OK. Could not even stay 5 mins to find another place to park. Man was very nice about it but no go.

1st night 8 mhs here. Ignored 2 knocks on door as a few local kids around. Tonight us & 1 Spanish mh. Silver Merc circled round car park then stopped in front of us. Chap said we had to pay him. I told him "No necesito pagar aqui Senor!" twice, firmly and he drove off in a cloud of dust. Changed pitches and parked other way round just in case. A shame as it is a good stop off point. Museum 5*

Here now with one other in this car park next Repsol garage. Water and waste available. Yes it's next to car wash and an A road. Lorries on road outside and fish vans in car park as previous but it's a flat solid base and free. Unlike the local site! Just using as a quick stop over as been to Salamanca before. Can also check tyres, top up with fuel and lpg before we go ;)

Been here for 4 nights and it's really good. As previous posts say great owner and facilities. Felt guilty as we only needed about 4 gallons of fuel but no problem to owner. All welcome. Best to go to garage FIRST as they will give you token for water and code for showers etc. Check out the town too. We enjoyed walking around. Wifi also free and best we have had anywhere in Spain and UK.

Just paid 2nd visit to this great aire. We were lucky as it was full on both nights with up to 25 more motorhomes parked in front of us and on the road - with chocks! Had to wait for people to wake up this morming and move their vehicles so we could get out of an official space. But it is free so can't really grumble.

Here now, it's been sunny all day :) Basic car park easy access to beach, town, market, swimming pool, tram etc. 7 vans here now & plenty of room for more, at this time of year. £10.40 2 nights. Only negatives boys & their toys late evening & currently a man teaching a lady to drive, round & round & round the car park. Like reading? Cafe/2ndhand books opp corner to library gr8 find.

Been here 3 times this year. Basic facilities. Friendly welcome. Woolpack pub 5 min walk. Bus to town at the gate.

2nd visit and still good. Pugneys park is great to walk round. Toby carvery 10/15 min walk. Asda 5 min walk. Bus to town at the gate. Clean and tidy facilities and great security gate.

Great place. Nice people. Farm shop/cafe nice but on the expensive side. Sainsburys cafe a short walk away 😊 Lots to see and do in Harrogate and surrounding area. We have family near here so will be back again, and again ..

Be aware local council clamping down on overnight parking at ALL car parks in Whitby. Check local press/radio websites for up to date position.

Popular free 48hr parking. Spaces left both nites we stayed. Easy access with water, grey/black waste. Good views and quiet. Police pass at least once each day. Our satnag sent us to wrong end of 1 way. Just take next exit off rdbt over bridgev (McDs and Supermarket here) and take right turns to bring you to other end. Head for huge silver dome. Only niggle is need for chocks, as surface slopes.

Second time here. Still the same tired old site. At €27 pn incl 10 amp (9.4.18) it's very expensive as nothing open currently, but nothing else around here, other than random car parks. Reception staff friendly, which scores high in our van. City is good for a day out.

Great free parking with basic facilities. Popular because of this. 40 vans when we were there, 8.4.18, but plenty of space around actual bays so don't worry about getting in. As ever some people abusing by being here for ages, with trailer and car each on there own space! We stayed one night no noise, would use again.

All you could want €2 for 100ltrs potable water. €2 for 1 hr elec. Free waste. Also has coin op laundrette. Clean and quiet when we used it.

Great location. Friendly staff. Nice plots. Clean loo/shower. Quiet at night. Only niggles are crazy slow washing machines 1 and 3/4 hours and lack of hot water for everything. If you time it right it's fine but frustrating if not. Did find coin op laundrette at Pink garage on N332. Clean and quiet when we used it. See photos

+Close to tram for Valencia. About 30 min walk to town. Bar/restaurant/shop/2 washers - none used. - €19 pn incl elec. (+ 50c for water!) Small pitches, tight fit for some. Loo and showers old (dark brown wall, dark green floor) mopped daily but only in the middle. Hair and dust all over. OK for a couple of nights to visit Valencia but that's all.

Clean, secure compound with solid base on ind est is best description I can come up with. Paco a nice man who speaks Spanish slowly so you have a chance to understand him. 2 supermarkets, garages and Asia shop close by 2 churches, with out of sync, bells that chime at least every 15 mins from 8 a.m. Noise from road and industrial units. So why did we feel comfortable enough to stay for 5 nights?

Great owner. Good location. All clean and tidy. Bit tight for bigger units but they seem to manage. BOOK in advance to guarantee a place at this very popular aire.

Here now 28.2.18. Full to bursting tonight! Nice quiet site. Good walking/cycling. Great views locally. Bring food with you! No loo but everything else. Just park up anywhere. Owner comes in eve to collect money. Breadman comes a.m. Nice sitting/bbq area. It is a chill out spot don't expect entertainment!

Pleasant stop over site right on beach. Dia, fuel, LPG and launderette on doorstep. Owners trying hard to get things updated but no elec on our visit. Sadly town let the site down. We walked all over during the day but when we went out at night groups of men hanging around made us feel vulnerable. First time in 3 years and over 50 different locations in Spain. Would do a night only here again.

One star more than we gave the other one. Again full of motorhomes parked inches away from each other. Most of these looked out onto concrete sea wall. Bars and restaurants close by. Walks along marinas and front. Just not for us.

In our view a total nightmare. At least 50 to 60 motorhomes here today packed in like sardines. Bars and restaurants close. Lots of boats to see. Just not for us.

Great location by the Sealife centre. Tarmac carpark. No facilities but pub close. Great walking and cycling. LA seem to accept ON parking here. Stayed here twice no probs but can get packed.

Great location with basic facilities. Grass pitches with elec. Run by CC and can have matches/practice as can football club at weekends. CC has bar open a couple of nights also famous Woolpack about 1/4 ml in village. Access through Esholt village, from Hollins Hill by traffic lights at Hollins Hall. Good walking/cycling. Hit badly by floods couple of years ago needs your support!

Expected sandy free for all car park from other reviews. Good sized, marked out gravel pitches. Friendly staff. We use our loo and shower but they have facilities. Well kept and clean. Supermarker, bus near. Great cycling/walking on costal path to Malaga one way and Rincon Victoria the other way. For €10 on (incl elec for 7 days +). Road close but we sleep OK. Elec off at moment but being fixed.

Great location. Easy walk to border. Quiet. Safe. Basic loo and laundry - not used. Motorhome point midway on furthest jetty. Take 1st exit at last roundabout. Do not follow Parking sign! If you do and end up in lanes for border, as we did, don't panic you can turn left out of these just before border and go back to roundabout. €12 pn. 72hrs max Only minus is elsan point "unpleasant" OH reports.

No facilities but free. Car park really. Visited TI there today. Told us OK to stay a couple of nights but respect area and do not dump waste there. Museum of C Columbus ships interesting as is botanical garden. Bus into Huelva €1.65 from Uni.

Here now with 2 others. It's free. Water/B & G waste. Close to Dia & Mercadona. Mkt Tues 200mtrs. Locals V friendly & eager to help. Invited us in & fed us at community bbq! Shops & cafes good too. Very Spanish. Bus to Huelva hourly(ish) €1.65. Good signs for entrance just past Police/Guarda station. Band getting better apart from Bass Drummer who thinks the louder the better. Made us smile.

Good location before/after ferry. Very clean with friendly staff. Coop in village, something express not far or Waitrose too. Local pubs and eating places. Bus to town only a walk away.

Best site we have been to in years. Clean, well kept, friendly staff and lots of free activities - walks, archery, fitness classes, Portugese classes, entertainment in the bar/restaurant. Outdoor pool still open in December! Indoor pool under construction. Bus on the doorstep to Lagos or Sagres. Further by bus or train from Lagos. Stayed 34 days and paid approx €13.58 pn incl 6 amp

Good - Site located near bus stop to city. Can walk to shopping centre, but only if fit and not scared of traffic. Busy roads and airport close. but noise OK Bad - Expensive @€30pn. Ramps at level 3 and still way off level. Shower/toilet v smelly at times and dated. Water scalding to cold. Black waste 15min round trip from pitch. Shop a joke. Whole site run down. Staff like water hot and cold.

A bit noisy from families on nice evenings and loud outdoor exercise class in morning but it was interesting. Free but space not guaranteed as some abuse it by stopping for a lot longer than they should. Shame on them! More spaces being developed though - worth a try.

Nice clean site. Choice of pitches. Washer €3.50. Friendly owners. Small swimming pool. Evora approx 30k. €3.65 by bus single. Site walk approx 90 mins. Not a lot to do other than chill. Down side was traffic noise from road next to site. Could cancel it out for day but it really intruded into sleep, even with my ear plugs in. Some people don't mind it. Only €9 for unit + 2 incl elec.

The good - Plenty of space. Friendly reception. Good location. Cyclepath straight to old town. Hose to wash vehicle was welcome after open deck on ferry. The bad - Apart from man in a van to empty bins each day no cleaning seems to have been done over 3 night stay. A mop and bucket with filthy water in showers. Whole site is very neglected. Hard to decide which is road and which is pitch. €20.40pn

Very narrow roads through Otterton. 20+ tractors and several buses an hour on these roads currently (9.10.17). No security at top of this huge site. Ladies toilets/showers smell so bad I could not use on 1st day. Luke warm trickle for shower this am. Staff bombing up and down from 7.30 a.m. Not impressed. Special offer of £10 per night at the moment is about the right price.

+ Good location. Quiet on our visit. Cycle/walk path by river to city AND to beautiful reservoir. City very historic, lots to see. TI speak English and V helpful. Bar/restaurant on site. 5amp elec incl in €17 pn. 1 washer €3.50. Carrefour 3k, Mercadona 4k. - Trees in some areas and some are low. Toilets could be cleaner and need updating. Plenty of hot water. No shop on our visit. Would revisit.

+ Friendly. Different sized pitches. V clean, hot showers etc. 5k to Gib. Walk/cycle or €6 taxi. Mercadona 2k . Social room/vending. Beach over road. - Noise off site, dogs, cockerels, donkey all night. A few eccentricities e.g. no hot water for washing up (used water from shower), no grey waste disposal on site, need staff for black waste disposal. Would come again for a couple of nights.

Nov 2016. Beach is great. Restaurant closed to Dec 1st. Site cafe tiny and made to feel we were getting in the way of cleaning and repairs. €1.70 for teabag with cup of tepid water. Town offered better options/value/welcome. Serviced pitch but not drinking water. Facilities smell all the time. Laundry like students. "Doctor's" receptionists. Had to sqeeze info from them. Aires just outside better

It's a bit like Marmite. You love it or hate it. Those who love it put with it''s little "eccentricities" stay for months and come back time and time again. Those who hate it don't. Good walking, swimming, and cycling. Bus from site entrance to Cartagena every hour or so. Great, friendly staff. Entertainment. Coach trips. It's big. It's Spanish. It's clean and friendly and the Mar Menor beautiful

Parked up, then sank inches into sandy pitch. Walked the mile to recep and back. Staff scratched their heads. We used our spade and rake to dig out. Heated showers not kept clean. Mens toilets filthy and ladies had same clumps of hair on floor for the 4 days we were there. Basically it's a huge car park next to a motorway. No character at all. We left 4 days early. But some people love it!

Nov 2016. V Clean, V friendly staff but VV quiet site/town. Bar/restaurant 4.30 p.m. to ? Not very attractive. Site supermarket closed but 2 good ones close by, not Sundays! Site taxi to and from Nules station €5 for Valencia. Moncofa is summer destination for Spanish. Very little open on our visit. Good cycling on Orange Roads. St Josep Caves good for a visit, 8 miles. 2/3 days enough here.

What a find! Water, black and grey waste with lots of tarmac spaces. Views, peace and quiet. A bit remote so stock up before you get there. We are here end April it may be busy in season but more places open to eat then. We saw the elephants and more.

+ Located close to city & sights. Good for Feria! Staff friendly. - It's a huge car park. Over 90 mh here at the moment & double that of cars/vans. 4 transporters loading, engines running, next to us this morning. A ship being loaded on the opposite bank from early hours. 1 filthy shower/loo per sex, so bring your own. Traffic chaos at 9 day Feria (2wks after Easter each year). But we'll be back!

First thing to mention you will need high chocks. We have Milenco 3 but not enough to get front end up to level. Plenty of hot water for washing us, pots and clothes. Clean and tidy site. A bit tight in places but several big units here so not impossible. Very close to busy road so not quiet BUT also very close to sea and good prom to local bars, shops etc. €€€ but 16amp and water/drainage.
