Good place to stay overnight. Next to the cable car with a beautiful, spacious view over the meadows and mountains. Andermatt is a nice, authentic Swiss town. On one side of the campsite is a large parking lot, but with reasonably spacious pitches. On the other side is a meadow for tents and campervans. The sanitary facilities are good, and you can take on drinking water, grey water, and empty sewage containers. In the high season, we paid 7.90m (5 Swfr) for a camper without electricity, totaling 34 Swfr.

Nice campsite with grass pitches and plenty of trees if you want some shade. The sanitary facilities are clean but outdated. A fine campsite for when you are passing through. The River Doubs flows past the campsite. We enjoyed nature here for 2 days.

The campsite below is indeed closed. The friendly manager pointed us to a higher camping site. There can indeed be some campers or caravans there. Water and electricity are available there. Be careful with heavy campers, but there are some paved pitches. Sanitary facilities within walking distance and neat. Large municipal swimming pool is directly adjacent to the sanitary building. We were passing through and stayed 1 night. The manager comes by in the evening

We were here at the beginning of October. Unfortunately rain almost every day. The site is high, has spacious pitches and some low trees so you can see far away. The facilities are good and the sanitary facilities are also clean and spacious. There is a natural pond for swimming. The Dutch owner is extremely friendly and helpful.
