Thanks to the municipality of Leer for these free camper places. Camper places on the smallest square are difficult to reach/leave because of cars parked here and there. Marked parking places could solve this problem.

On June 18 we were all alone in this beautiful place. Despite the beautiful weather, we had both evenings and evenings Didn't see anyone in the morning. Ideal if you like absolute peace and quiet.

Norway at its best (what a beautiful island). Jøa can be reached in 4 minutes by free ferry, and despite its approximately 450 inhabitants, it has all the necessary amenities. Rakkavika can be reached via a 2 km long narrow access road (only downside).

A beautiful place. Reindeer, walking, fishing, and at 500 meters an ice blue sea with a beautiful white sandy beach. No facilities, but the experienced camper can do without them for a few days.

OPEN AGAIN! (info@freibad-fockbek.de) Been closed until 09-2021 due to covid and misconduct motor home. Stick to the rules, otherwise we will (also) lose this hospitable free motorhome. The place is intended for 1 night stay. Drinking water now has to be paid for; other amenities are still free. Extremely suitable place as a stopover to and from Scandinavia.

Overnight on 14 Oct 2021 and 25 Oct 2021. Previous reviews speak for themselves. Ideally suited as a stopover to and from Norway.

Visited August 13. Ordinary parking place; not really suitable to spend the night. Lots of noise from traffic and the river.

Visited August 12. Simply a beautiful place with a view over the fjord. Often used as the start or end point of a route over the Aurlandsfjellet.

Visited August 10. Beautiful place on glacial lake. Summer ski and restaurant were closed, so they were free (NOK 250 is too expensive). For enthusiasts, there are dozens of free pitches along the Gamle Strynefjellsvegen with also breathtaking views.

Visited August 9. Beautiful hiking opportunities along gorge, waterfall and over fjell with panoramic views. Busy parking lot, so less suitable for longer stays.

Visited August 7-8. Many beautiful pitches by the river; on both sides of the road. Wonderful hiking opportunity over the Sætersvegen along the river to the forest. Or walk to the Øvre Fallfossen (starts from the 2.6 km away Grimsdalsvegen - parking lot in front of the "bom" toll gate).

Visited August 4th. Almost 10 Euro for a regular parking space with electricity is very expensive. There are plenty of free parking spaces in the area.

Great place, we often spend the night here in transit to and from Norway. On the outward journey (1 August) with 2 campers to full satisfaction. On our return journey (August 17) we were alone here. At night we were unpleasantly surprised by drug-dealing youths with a migration background; and we left at 01:00 am.

What a horror of the festivals that the municipality of Leeuwarden allows almost continuously in the summer.

Neat clean and quiet free camper pitches on mix-parking. Facilities: electricity (€ 2.00 per 6 hours), water (1.00), waste water (free), toilet emptying with rinsing water (free). Nice town along the Elbe (birthplace Prince Claus). Choose from many affordable restaurants. Excellent starting point for many wonderful bike rides (eg around the Elbe to Dömitz).

Super friendly and welcoming reception. Free pitch also for several days (electricity € 5.00). Once-only restaurant is appreciated, but that is not a punishment (delicious schnitzels with a choice of different appendices for only € 12.60). Free use of toilets during restaurant opening times. Beautiful environment for cycling.
