Great simple parking lot with separate area for campers. You ARE allowed to stay overnight here!, but no camping behavior. A sign of "no camping" means "no camping behavior" On the other side of the street there are at least 25 great unmarked places on gravel. Everything free and with sani! I hope that ACSI and or NKC will now have the confusing sign adjusted with the manager after years of reviews. After all, the listing in the ACSI guide is paid for

What a lovely CP. Just next to a former farm, with everything included. Even cooking. Very warmly welcomed. 1 Toilet and shower are luxury! Sufficient for 3 places. 3 nice cats. 2 days, 1 and 2 July 2025, wonderfully unwinding. The price: DK 130 or € 18, that is very reasonable. We definitely recommend this CP.

Unfortunately, we left after viewing. Outdated furnishings, but worse is that the sanitary facilities etc. are certainly not cleaned regularly. Registration is only possible from 08 to 11. So contact with reception is impossible until the next day. For the ACSI price low season € 25, not what we find acceptable. We drove on.

What a nice campsite to stay for a few days. Very friendly and helpful owner Michael. Just find a spot (VERY SPACIOUS). All amenities included, even cooking, microwave, oven. Outdoor pool. Great restaurant. With a small menu. (the electricity is indeed 16 amps everywhere, so 3500 Watts.) We stayed there on June 27 and 28, 2025.

Nicely situated at the harbour. Now costs DK 160 / € 25 for the night between 20:00 and 09:00. Free during the day. Centum is at 200m. No electricity possible. Excellent wifi via code on board.

This is the Camper place you dream of. Beautiful at a small marina. Everything for DK 170. A nice restaurant with very friendly service. And certainly affordable and tasty. Small museum about the origin and demise of this place. What a beautiful view.

Only a fenced asphalt place with barrier, no, few facilities anymore. Unfriendly place without a view. The price is now DK 100 / € 14 The most positive thing is the Lidl at 100m. On presentation of your ticket from the payment machine you can empty your toilet at another CP. We quickly drove on on June 25.

June 12 here 1 night. The price is now only including electricity and all facilities. Dk 195, well to the prince for a gravel terrain, but beautiful sandy beach is directly behind the hedge.

We came for peace and the beautiful (cycling) surroundings. A warm welcome with coffee and biscuits. This small-scale mini-campsite is an oasis of peace. The sanitary facilities are simply very good. In the barn there are games, books and information in abundance. How nice that the owners came by every day. Spacious pitches on the beautifully maintained lawn. Our 4-day stay was a great success. Clean, friendly and reasonable price. Shower is fine, suitable for 2 people. Payment with German ECKarte drama. But every day around 5 p.m. a friendly man comes to collect the bill. Cash please. Highly recommended to stay here. On the Weserradweg, and a very beautiful historic center 200 meters away. We were here from 23 to 25 June 2025 and would love to come again

Beautiful place. We are here often. Unfortunately last night there was a nuisance from rowdy youth, throwing heavy fireworks and household waste, shouting to knife people. 1 camper fled in fear. The mess was cleaned up by campers last night. Hope it will be patrolled again. This place is too beautiful to let go.

This is NOT a Camper Spot!!! It is the toilet facilities of the CP 1 km away. As a Steenwijker and active camper I am ashamed of this location.

Years ago I already made a request to remove this camper place from the site, which succeeded then. I am a Steenwijker myself and an active camper. I was ashamed of this bad camper place, also because of the lousy remote facilities. Unfortunately, the municipality has registered this place again It is a poor CP, next to a sewage treatment plant and with poorly maintained subsoil. My advice: don't stand there gasn.

2 nights stood perfectly, very friendly reception when registering and explanation about showering and toilet. We also had a really excellent meal there. Pleasant bustle of residents walking. Nice walking path along the IJssel to the ferry. And very nice center of the village at 5min walk. We like to come back regularly.

Stayed here again for 8 nights. Already for the 3rd time this year. A lot of cycling in the beautiful surroundings. This motorhome is top notch, we'll be back soon. John and Jenny Veldhuis from Steenwijk.

For the 2nd time here. Very nice. Rest and especially nice hard surface. It's good that you just pay what you take, and don't have to accept "luxury included". We were here for 6 nights, cycled a lot, beautiful surroundings. Very friendly owner, also a motor home owner.

We were here on 10 and 11 May 2017. Perfect place for a couple of days. Restaurant with deliciously cheap menu at 100 meters. We will definitely be here again. And that for 3 euros !!!!!! Greetings from Jenny and John Veldhuis Steenwijk.

We have been here many times. Only positive about everything. The price you paid (€ 9.30) is € 7.50 plus tax sadly by the municipality. You get a free cup of coffee (coupon) on the quay there! 5 times pay = 6 times for free. Certainly not TOO expensive! Also, the fine volunteers of the TIC are a part of the service. Glad we settled can be found here.

Views on Sunday 5 Feb. 2017 We have just not gone. In the middle of a public car park. By resident tipped over trade in "white powder" nightly noise that. Very poor access, very deep potholes in the driveway. However, photos taken to show clearly that you DO NOT have to pay for this car park on ALL Sundays. There are finer CPs to feel safer on the river!

We saw that there is only but one of the places dish TV reception because the tall trees are not pruned. Pity! Unfortunately we just drove to a motorhome in the area. It is certainly possible in order to improve something.
