Perhaps the highway was closed last night, and that was the reason for the crowds (so we experienced a lot of noise and very fast-moving traffic). It's a nice park for a walk, though.

We spent the night here. It's a very peaceful spot, perfect for a lovely walk to the waterfall. It's easy to choose between the north and south sides of the river. Make sure you choose well in advance, as driving to the other side is quite a detour.

These are the kind of places you'll drive back for after restocking your campervan. 😉 We had a wonderfully peaceful overnight stay here, which was definitely worth the 50 SEK (€6.40). (You can put your money in the provided paper bag, write your name and license plate number on it, and drop it in the crack in the column.) There are more well-organized places like this in the area around Idre. Oh, and don't forget the "Magic Road" if you're here.

We had a peaceful overnight stay here. It's a great place to prepare for a visit to the "Falu Gruve" (copper mine) in Falun. A short hike in the surrounding area takes you over mountains of slag from the ore smelting furnaces that once stood here by the river/lake.

We first drove to the designated GPS location. This is near the upper lock, but it was occupied. If you continue along the path, there's a spot with a boat ramp (there's plenty of room and good shade). We took the road to the lower lock, following the sign for canoe racks and the red snowmobile cross, keeping left. Below, there are two spots: one next to the lock and one just to the left before it. It's also a very beautiful and peaceful spot for a walk.

A beautiful spot in the Great Bear Forest. A very quiet night at about 550m altitude, so it's a bit colder this time of year. On our morning walk, we were greeted by a large, fresh bear roll, so they're definitely around here. Our woodshed was empty, which may also be due to the time of year. Everything is gearing up for the arrival of snow.

It's certainly a beautiful spot, but fences have been erected at the entrance/exit, with a large sign stating that camping (campervans and tents) is no longer permitted. This may be temporary, but we were able to enjoy the beautiful spot for a while with a homemade cup of coffee and a short walk with the dog.

The road is fine (by Norwegian standards, especially in the countryside), but more and more "5-timer" signs are being added. Now, on both sides of the parking lot. There is a very nice restroom facility, and the walk is worth it.

A great stopover for an overnight stay. Simple, clean bathrooms with a wonderful shower. We weren't bothered by the main road at night.

We had a wonderful and very peaceful "free" overnight stay here. From here, you can walk beautiful, informative, and easily accessible trails of varying lengths. Highly recommended.

We spent a night here and enjoyed the peace and quiet and the expansive view of the lake surrounding us. A true outdoor spot for the self-sufficient camper.

A great spot for an overnight stay. It's a large area in the village park, offering plenty of space and great for a nice walk. There are also two fenced-in dog areas. A newly installed toilet is also available next to the swimmers' paddock. The village is within walking distance along the river.

A lovely place to spend the night after arriving by boat (in the evening) or before leaving for Sweden, and then head back. In sunny weather, it's a lovely beach, and there's a BBQ ready to go. Short walks are also possible. (Dogs are welcome to join the walk, but not on the beach.)

After a ride of about 12km on gravel, you'll arrive at this spot. The location is no longer at the indicated GPS location, but about 400m before it. A good, spacious loop with free, large entry areas where you can also stand together if you wish. There are 10 spots. If you offer such beautiful spots, five stars are definitely deserved. Hats off.

A great place to spend the night. It says 12:00, yes, but the place isn't exactly a clock face. It's definitely worth walking the path created for the King and seeing the Viking runes. There are no facilities, but it's worth it.

It's a real shame that only a picture and no review has been posted. This is a short driveway right next to the road (about 20 meters). It's also possible that the wrong spot is indicated.

Unfortunately, I can't change the price. The dates overlap, but the €0 is incorrect for this location. The ACSII website lists prices ranging from the standard period rate for the first period €37.50 to the second period rate €46.50.

ok we are not really into paid CP but this is a nice combination of nice walking and quiet overnight stay. nice places where you can stand together. during the day some on and settled visitor traffic but in the evening wonderfully quiet. and the suspension bridge is really worth it. With a bit of walking legs the indicated forest walk is also good to do with alternating shelter of the forests you walk through.

prioma for a night but some noise from the. airport (flight path) when the wind is wrong. also the B6 makes continuous noise in the distance. the swimming pool will give more nuisance the trees grow through the slide. Good for the drive through night

lovely quiet just outside the village. close to the Lilienfeld Muckenkogel ski lift and the paragliding landing field. we stood at the top of the lift (out of season). where it quickly fills up with cars at the weekend from which trained hikers get off who walk up the verg. nice place for self-supporting campers. downstairs more space for somewhat larger campers upstairs space for bus campers

Lovely quiet spot, behind the hotel/restaurant where the deer walk past the camper in the edge of the forest. The owner of the restaurant is very friendly and it is certainly a spot with a plus.

neat and clean campsite with spacious places. view over the river from some places. clean sanitary access with map of the campsite. we paid in euros (had not yet withdrawn) €25,- with 4 euros discount.

arrived around 8 in the evening there were still a few cars enjoying the twilight and then it became quiet. the smell of the wood stoves let you know that you are close to the village. Quiet place with beautiful hiking opportunities in the southern desert of Poland.

great campsite, some noise from the main road but that is made up for by the view at the back. You can also walk here. Sanitary facilities are a bit dated but clean and maintained. Showers separated by a shower curtain. We paid CZK 546, - camper 2 pers and dog. no electricity.

Very nice and quiet "beach/dunes" place. 5 min walk from the beach to blow out. or swim in good weather. 20 places and full is full and there is active control. the place itself is very clean and is emptied daily.

A lovely small friendly campsite that radiates good care and friendliness. Nice walk along the babbling river and a very hospitable welcome and Dutch chat. WiFi had a great time with Trompet (the owner's shepherd). Thanks for the service, this place is on the return list ;-)

we drove there because it was on the route. When we arrived at the location we saw that donuts had recently been made in the gravel of the P, so we continued to the next location. (a shower of stones against us is not what we want to experience)

At the very top of the mountain. If you drive quietly for five minutes at the P, on the less well maintained road, you will come to ample parking space and a wonderful place to walk and enjoy the (evening) lights of the valley and the enamel quarries that extend to to the city. The tunnel further on was never completed and the walk to the back is also worth it. Totally off grid. beautiful views everywhere.

Totally off grid between the Gemsen and the fishing lake. Wonderfully quiet when all the day visitors have disappeared after around 7:00 PM. then you can no longer pay and you have to wait until 8:00 am the next morning. we paid €6 for just the night (arrived at the end of the afternoon and left again in the morning) very nice place for a walk

A wonderfully quiet spot in a very large backyard. We are kindly received and let onto the site together with the second camper. Despite the opening period from October to December, I was allowed to stay one night. We are also a bit lucky as of July 1 (2024) the owner will be traveling in Europe with his camper😉👍

A very good price-quality ratio in combination with excellent friendly service and very well-maintained sanitary facilities and grounds. Actually a wonderful luxurious night for only fifteen euros (outdoor camper wise). It is quite an achievement to see how such a beautiful terraced campsite has been created on such a small area, where everyone has a beautiful view of the area.

A great place for an overnight stay at a height to avoid the heat for the night😉. We drove slightly up the slopes to find a flat spot along the path. Wonderfully quiet and nice and cool. Also a nice place for the dog to walk around.

A lovely quiet camper spot where fortunately an extra spot was available (despite the 2 camper spots that are normally there). Improvising and receiving a hospitable welcome are top priorities for the hostess and son. After we had sat quietly, time was made to welcome us and get to know us. While enjoying a “locally” glass of limoncello. Oh yes, next time make a reservation via the app ;-).

What a wonderfully peaceful place with a majestic view. There are of course many cars during the day, mainly from day trippers and climbers, but they disappear during the evening. Furthermore, there are wonderful large and small walks (calf biters due to the height difference), restaurants and toilets within walking distance.

A beautiful, quiet and well-landscaped place. definitely worth the €6. With a short walk to the “village center” (just walk up past the fighter jet and past the church about 150m) you can pay the € in cash or electronically at the bar (which is no bigger on the inside than the average camper). . After a quiet night, fill up with fresh water and hit the road again. It's great that such places are being realised.

a very quiet place without direct facilities. waste bins for visitors at the site but also at the beginning of the site. Overall a good stop in very beautiful surroundings.

nice and clearly marked place. enough space to sit outside in the grass near the camper. the circular walk around the canal is a nice little leg stretcher. Toilets dated but functional. Please bring your own paper

A place where there should be more of them. Wonderfully quiet with a roaring waterfall (from the dam) in the distance within walking distance. Make sure in advance that you have saved the geocaches, as there is no mobile phone reception at this location. ;-)

What a wonderful and peaceful place. We didn't see any mosquitoes, but every step next to the path to the jetty or other place you dropped through 60cm of snow. A walk with the dog means a round of “cleaned” parking lot and then to the huts. . (you don't want to walk along the E45 here)

beautiful spot, but during this period (March) there is still a thick layer of ice on the slope and the spot itself. Still, we drove on and grabbed a parking space at the beach. (Doable in winter, a bit too busy in summer with local visitors, we think) It's very nice that you are on an island where there is no time in summer ;-)

A place where you can see that energy is being put into making something of it. An intensive environment of “Das Grüne Band” (former border). nice starting position for walking and cycling for a (still) self-supporting camper. very quiet and easily accessible. oh yes, just glass in the village with 75 MB internet.

We don't drive wrong, but we always drive differently, but yes, this spot often pops up in our route. A spot that we see slowly changing, the patch of grass next to it now has an unmistakable sign “Privat”. The other way, a very nice walk in the edges of the military shooting range. (we have never paid or seen anything where we can pay) so now we can enjoy the peace and quiet.

Great overnight stay, quiet at night. Normal noise and transport over this big P in the evening, but not with the campers. The places where there is still space quickly become muddy, so you have to divert to the connecting P (also spacious, but it fills up during the week in the mornings). A very suitable place to enter the city by bus or (loan) bicycle . three stars due to the absence of service for the camper.

spend the night at approximately 2300m. It is definitely worth driving 100 meters. Drive into the path opposite the bunker. Drive 50 meters to the back to drive past the electricity house to spot 1. If you go right past the house, approximately 50 m, spot 2 (both with enough space for 2 campers) you turn left, approximately 50 m, space for a small bus. Temperature due to altitude 20 degrees colder than in the valley. But such a beautiful starry sky.

great place for the night, very well cared for and relaxed, arriving and standing. spacious places and service for a fee. Looks great as self-supporting. The neighbors' dog was a little less concerned, it was there very early and kept barking for a very long time, so the other side of the road is close. Walking your own dog is a very short walk around the site or along the main road.

A quiet overnight place fine for the night.

We drove down from the "tourist" entrance on top of the Tremola, the old cobbled road. Along this road many quiet beautiful places to spend the night. the screeching that you hear every now and then is from the Alpen Marmot (masters of sitting still, so difficult to spot). the night wonderfully quiet and in the morning cyclists, old-timers and luxurious new timers who go up or down the pass. worth taking the pass instead of the tunnel.

beautiful surroundings and flat, large quiet P where there is enough space. you spend the night at an altitude of approximately 2000 meters. nice walks around the lake and the magical light tunnel great place.

there are those places where the tranquility at the end of the day falls like a blanket over the parking lot. This is also the case here where the flowing river passes behind the camper and the hiking opportunities, also with a dog, are very beautiful. We had another great night here. When dusk falls, the cool air from the river rises onto the campsite like a cooling blanket. When it gets dark, the lights (fireflies) dance along the river bank (June). Oh yes, the campsite is easy to find by following the rafting signs. Unmaintained ash falls to recycling center, cement factory, and wood pulp storage. beyond that is the campsite

A very nice and quiet place. for your information: Continue until you can get on it just before Glassier 3000 because if you turn off earlier you will encounter barriers. when you are at the top stop on the P (left) the CC logo is a little too far from the restaurant and it is difficult to turn there. and then enjoy the peace, the mountains, the birds and the blanket of silence that comes over you in the evening.

Still a lovely spot. we forgot for a moment that we had had these before, but when we saw the drive up and the source at the place, the memory came back. (that sometimes happens when you visit so many places in Europe)

nice simple and clean parking space (14 camper spots) on the edge of the village. The walking path along the sites leads to the various herb gardens such as a Kneipp herb garden and seasonal gardens.

A wonderfully peaceful site run by a young couple who have recently become owners. Congratulations Always a warm welcome on arrival and an immediate update and tour, together with Erik, along the animals behind the campsite. There is always room to roll up your sleeves, which is nice to do. It is also wonderful to paddle or swim by the lake or just row a bit.

just arrived and unfortunately had to look further. very large signs have been placed that it is no longer allowed to stay overnight.

nice spot near nature park. nice walks in this bird-rich area are very clear. a bit noisy in the evening and early morning. the toilets are only open when the cafe is also open. Oja toilet is red house with several yellow doors not the other one with two gray doors. that is electricity house.

Neat clean place and with heated toilets. A great place to stay overnight during transit where lorries also take their rest moment. At night the noise of the E39 is low and for our standards a quiet road. A tarmac path, parallel to the main road, gives some space to stretch your legs and enjoy the scenery. Also suitable for dogs paws.

A great place for the night with toilet. loses runs a bit crooked to the well. on the other side of the road a spot on the water where you can put the chairs down at a 2 meter wide beach.

you have to have the weather and the wind behind you. But even with some strong wind you can stand in such a way that it remains a beautiful place with a view. wonderfully quiet at night.

even in the late winter in March there is a swept spot where you can easily reach the lake. wonderfully quiet and surrounded by forest, providing good shelter from cold winds. you can walk straight up to the lake to enjoy a beautiful sunset.

a lovely quiet stop and overnight stays and if you are rewarded with a KP6 northern lights after arriving in the evening, it is complete. you have to have a little luck. Relax and help with the animals. delicious👍

March 16 a great overnight stay along the E10. Without snow humps of more than 2.50 m high, beautiful view. On the other hand, the lake is frozen and you walk out onto the expanse of the ice. also a very nice dark place to observe Northern Lights (little light pollution)

March 18, 2022 were here in transit. The place itself is not accessible / driveable due to 1.5 m of snow. however, the space behind the information board has been “shifted”. not snow free but passable and you stand quietly and surrounded by trees reasonably protected.

also drove to this place today. staying overnight is strictly prohibited. that can be read under the P with camper sign ☹️ luckily a very large forest nearby 😏

a very quiet and beautiful natural place along the meandering river. a lot of space with furnished places and also free spaces to put the camper. definitely recommended to leave the E45 in time for a moment of rest.

A quiet spot along the 99 up North on the Swedish side of the river just below the Arctic Circle. Lovely murmur of the river in the background and excellent sanitary facilities. At this time of year (June) there are many, many mosquitoes here. Mosquito net is definitely a must in the camper. (a Citroën candle won't make it)

If there is enough space, the campers can stand behind each other at the end. Very quiet place and nice area for short and longer walks to the coast. When using the passenger car, please park in the boxes, otherwise this place will soon be "no camping" due to lack of regular visitors who go to the cottages in the nature park.

parking space at the “local” swimming spot. Also a favorite to come and swim with the dog. Very neatly maintained. lovely quiet night when the visitors have returned home.

Wonderful quiet place with a nice view. place for about 3 to 4 campers. along the CP the local, non-disturbing dog exit route 👍

no facilities but very quiet in the evening with the hum of the spring in the background. Nice walk along the Elbe where there is enough space. At a walking distance of about 900 meters from the CP you are reminded of the cold war (until 1989 East Germany) by the watchtower that still stands. The nature reserve that was created after that time “die grüne band in Deutschland” is worth following with the camper.

quiet place behind the dike where a lot of daytime recreation takes place. Lots of space in the parking lot next to it Restaurant with Toilets basic but sufficient (during the day when the restaurant is open)

at six o'clock the amusement park closes and the attractions stop, after which you have a wonderful quiet place on the grass with the evening sun and a glass of wine, a great overnight spot

Nice and quiet and just separated toilet. Nice and quiet at night. Great place for an overnight stay. But also walking and cycling are definitely worth doing from here.

Quiet and spacious place behind the town yard. Great for an overnight stay or a bike ride in the area where the Maas originated. Behind the CP is a maintained sports field. The whole situation was created around the old platform that is still present, but the tracks have been replaced by gravel.

Wonderful quiet overnight stay. The clatter of a flowing meltwater rievier In the morning there are some more cars of the hikers walking to the repaired and renovated refuge.

Very neat and tidy place with lots of space. The twittering of the birds is predominant and the road chance the place becomes calmer in the evening.

If the fellow camper (F) would put the camper a bit more social, this is a wonderfully quiet place. You can walk in and around the village. Due to the reflection of the wall, the road on the other side of the river is a bit noisy. Furthermore, really take into account that you are on a supply. (Flood hazard) yes also in summer.

If a place is very beautiful, the available space is short-lived. Today (on weekends) almost all places are occupied. The wind that blows over the field of the mountain is certainly, in one place, a determining factor. The tranquility in the village and the bakery in the Hotel make it worth staying overnight.

Excellent overnight accommodation and spacious place (s). The ring road around it gets busier in the morning. The new supermarket at approximately 50 meters is easy to do the shopping before departure.

A very nice place. In the evening the sounds of the cars racing by disappeared and it became a quiet place to spend the night. Covid19 makes half of the places available and the sanitary facilities are closed. The restaurant, for pizza and snack, was (still) closed

A hibernating destination. Fine for an overnight stay at the top. (Lower hum of transformer house) Nice area for walking and paragliding paragliding. Toilets were open and there was a hose to fill water.

Excellent quiet accommodation at this place. Enough space and walking distance from the village.

Steaming beefeater To make your cup of coffee and a beautiful view of this place. Occasionally a local farmer who drives past and otherwise quiet. Oh yes, a few ramps are recommended to stand here.

It is really a best climb with the camper. But then you also enter a small paradise where the farmer waves friendly to you and the river buzzes next to the camper. Doable with a van also because of passing local traffic. From the P you can take a nice walk to the glacier garden where the local scouts keep the glacier bowls free from water and sand.

Lovely quiet place with enough space. A. Hike to and near the monastery is made from here.

A beautiful place and certainly very quiet and well-maintained accommodation options. Several fire plates were made around the bath. We were here when everything was closed. No compensation was requested. In our opinion, the fee of 10 euros is a bit on the high side if you can stand alone in the parking lot.

It is a nice flat drop spot. Lots of space and peaceful nature around you. In the background the road where you occasionally hear a car racing. Sometimes the honking of the locomotive approaching unguarded level crossings in the distance.

A very quiet place within walking distance of the water. Most cars and vans that are parked disappear in the evening and a few campers remain. Nice walk and good quiet night. It was not clear to us how and where to pay. The restaurant is 500 meters away with private parking.

Functional place as stopovers. Large parking lot where the ghetto blasters drive on the other side of the P until about 10 o'clock in the evening. And yes, as previously reported in the early morning, the road does make some noise from passing cars.

Nice quiet place good surface and free environment for a walk or bike ride. In the background some noise from the main road. This is also a great place for a night.

Wonderfully quiet in the middle of the forest at the information center of the nature park. In the late winter, the road to it is icy and slippery. The P is also an ice rink. In winter, irons under the shoes are really not an unnecessary piece of equipment.

Okay very few facilities but a trash can. Furthermore, a very nice view in a well passable road to the place.

Great winter spot with very nice warm shower. Bathroom a bit dated but clean and functional. Place for the camper is behind the shower room. In this room there is also an opportunity to cook and wash dishes.

Also a great place to stay a night in the winter months. Toilets heated and tidy. The larger parking spaces along the through roads are great starting points if you are on the road in the winter. They are kept free of snow and are easy to ride.

wonderful place. Evening visit of the choir and the local football club😀 continuously running water in the corner of the parking lot. Every now and then a priest who stretches the legs and walks a circle with his rosary. Along the main road but that is not disturbing.

On arrival ff look where the entrance is, at the pizza restaurant drive past to the right and you drive straight into the field to shady places. 🍕Pizza you get for € 5, - and immediately € 10 paid for the place. if you are self-sufficient then this place is definitely a 8. there are four plateaus but with just a moment at your height. there is a sign 2.5 neter in connection with overhanging cables. on the first platform, on the right, you do not have to have any problems with this. with approximately 3.5m you can go here. otherwise, the barking and howling wolves, when it really gets dark, are very special. only took 20 minutes.

great place. during the day a bit busier, but after ten o'clock it is very quiet. for the evening walk the imb is within walking distance on the other side of the main road. with the standard ramps you can work fine here. walking is also wonderful on the parallel paths along the main road.

arrive on a Friday and see that the whole campsite is actually (almost) full. there is always a place here on this cozy city site. Next to the campsite and the tennis court, there is, at this moment, a party in the tent with live music. belongs to the environment. in the background sirens and occasionally a train passing by. toilets dated but functional and clean

Very nice place and enough space, blocks are handy. No (prohibition) signs thus looks like tolerated. Beautiful color play of the sunlight against the mountain tops every minute you look 5 times your camper. Please note that at night it can be a lot colder than in the valley.
