stayed here night of 29Aug24 for 1nt as stop on way back from Spain. Eur32 for 2ADT/1CHD, motorhome & elec. tight pitch space and sloping. Noise until 2300hrs from children playing in play area by torch light but other than that it was very peaceful. be aware bridge in centre is 3.1m high.
Sitecode: 15188
nice site but pricey. allocated a pitch that took a lot of manoeuvring to get on & off when there were unused bigger pitches nearby. part under trees. toilet blocks were very clean. friendly staff. 30mins walk along river to centre but could be a lonely walk if dark.
Sitecode: 21288
stayed for one night and although more expensive than an aire, it included water and electric so balanced itself out. larger pitches are next to the Motorhome Bourne. 10mins walk to centre with very good museum. quiet at night.
Sitecode: 100267
excellent aire within 15mins walk to centre. pay at barrier before entering for stay and water and electric. large emplacements.
Sitecode: 8366
fantastic stop over for crossing channel and only 25mins drive from port or terminal. safe. centre only 5mins walk away. would recommend and will return
Sitecode: 27973
Great campsite council run. Free shuttle bus nearby into centre. Facilities were dated but clean. The road/lanes were narrow but we had no problems in our 9m motorhome. Pitch was in an area of four pitches separated by hedges and under trees so was a little dark but ok for the 1nt stay. Would certainly return as Ghent is fantastic.

Stayed for 1nt in Aug'19. Easy to find and within an easy 15mins cycle ride on dedicated cycle paths to Maastricht centre. Overlooks marshland and river. Some road noise but not too much to keep awake at night. Maastricht was lovely and we would recommend staying here.

Nice outlook overlooking the river but very very noisy. there's a train track either side of river running freight trains all day & night and noise from roads either side of river plus the boats on the river. We hardly slept. Most shops are at other side of river so have to pay to cross. Facilities were very basic. Owner insisted that we paid by cash. Electric is on consumption. I doubt we'll return.

Stayed for 1nt in Aug'19. Tried to prebook but advised to turn up. Easy check. Fresh water situated at bottom of ramp/slope although someone had left end of hose in a water butt which had moving worms in it. Sanitary block was basic but clean. There was a toilet cubicle without a door but there were plenty with doors. Showers had hot water. On banks of river. Bus stop outside 5mins to centre.

Great stellplatz. Easy to find and plenty of spaces during our visit in August. You travel past an Aldi supermarket and there is a coach park on the right with this stellplatz on your left. Easy walk into the medieval walled town. Just ensure that you come out of the town through the same gate, otherwise you could have a long walk back to your motorhome.

Firstly, Fussen is beautiful and well worth a stop off. There are 3 aires next door to one another and approx 15mins steady cycle ride to centre. Supermarket across the road. Top tip, avoid staying here and stay at the end aire. On this aire, electric on meter and didn’t work but took your token. Showers didn’t work but took your token. Lady who managed the site just waved her arms in air & shouts

Excellent overnight stop on way home from Italy. Situated close to the motorway but no noise. Reception was friendly & helpful. Flat pitches on side of hill. Clean facilities. Great views and good plane watching as landings fly past. We took taxi to Innsbruck but you could cycle it in 20-30mins I suspect. We travelled in August and although busy, it was not full. Not 10* due to can’t prebook pitch

Great campsite located 10 mins walk along the lake shore to Peschiera del Garda town which has lots of shops and restaurants. At the lake side there is a small beach and swimming in the lake is permitted. On site, the pitch sizes vary. We booked in advance to secure our large pitch. Some noise on an evening but nothing too bad and it was peak season. There is a free shuttle bus to Lidl during peak season which was great. Site lost 2 stars due to a silly rule that the swimming pool closed every day for 2 hours between 1200hrs to 1400hrs. At a time when you most wanted to cool off by taking a swim. On duty lifeguard was also 'trigger happy' with his whistle at any and every opportunity which spoilt enjoyment. However, we would return.

Good location for visiting the town. Situated next to the river with nice views. Access road to campsite is shared with a car park and aire. We could not access the aire in our 9m long motorhome due to parked cars on the access road who were avoiding paying in the car park. Reception is not open all day and there is an entrance barrier. They would not allow you through the barrier until after you had checked in which caused traffic jams. We stayed one night on our journey to Italy and this site was the most expensive stop over all holiday. Electric, toilet facilities and motorhome borne were all good however.

Location wise, this aire is great as it's within a short walk from the town square and tourist office, shops and restaurants. The aire is located on a side street between apartment blocks and a park as is at the far side of a large car park. the downside for us was on our visit, the travelling fair was in town and had taken over the whole car park and aire, so was closed. This is the only reason for giving it half of the score rating.

Lovely site, spacious and immaculate facilities. Slightly expensive for the one night stay during summer. We had to queue up to check in as reception is not open all day. Check in took ages and payment was cash. Some airplane noise during the night but it wasn't too much of an issue.

Fantastic little site. Around 15 pitches with electric. Two fresh water taps and a chemical waste. Grey waste goes in the hedge. Pitches are spacious and flat. Friendly owners. Some road noise but not disturbing. Bus to centre of York only 300metres down road.
Sitecode: 48685
One of the best aires that we have stayed on. A bit of a walk to the beach but the surroundings more than make up for it. There is some noise from the road but it was not too bad during the evening.

Good location for ferry and short walk into centre but thats the 2 stars. Arrived late evening to be questioned by 'non local' youths about where from, how long stay before they disappeared into the bushes! Found a parking place and about to go to bed and heard noises outside. A number of these youths were trying door handles and checking bikes out on back of motorhomes. Music started playing very loudly from cars parked on quayside (maybe fishing?) We decided to leave and this was 0100hrs. Did not feel safe.

Just a car park

Spacious aire but some parkings may require levelling ramps. There was no signage to take you to the village centre or historical sight which was a bit poor.
Sitecode: 15894
Nice aire located a short walk up from the village. Some road noise as there is a roundabout next to the aire so suggest parking away from this. When we stayed it was free and the water and waste was free too. If you walk down the hill and turn right, walk through the village, there's a nature walk which takes you along the river which offers stunning scenery.

Tightly packed parking. A good 20mins plus walk into the centre

Nice are located next to seaside road. Entry at one end where water/bourne facility is and exit up steep slope at other end. Take care upon entering as there is a change in surface level and we caught our exhaust. Fee is collected.
Sitecode: 1322
Lovely Aire located 20mins walk from centre which is very pretty. Plenty of space. Gravel surface. Some offer electric hook ups but take a long cable as some park near to the electric but do not use it. Take care on driving onto/off the water/bourne island as I caught my exhaust on the kerb.
Sitecode: 24583
Excellent site but require taxi transfer to get into town centre. Facilities are excellent. Stayed here whilst owners VANBITZ installed alarm system on motorhome.
Sitecode: 51403
Great site but pay a premium. 15mins walk to bus stop and a Lidl supermarket. Bus takes you into centre. There was some noise during evenings due to being next to a sports complex but nothing which would spoil your stay.
Sitecode: 59293
Excellent campsite located 450m from a fine beach and within easy walk to village centre with daily market and some shops. Pitches vary in size but we got our 9m van on one. Clean facilities and good swimming pool shop and restaurant. Point lost due to stagnant water pond which breeds mosquitoes meaning bites! Bring repellent and sting relief but don’t let this put you off coming.

Two Aires divided by road. Aire on left is small and has no bourne. Aire on right is next to coach park and has bourne and EHU. Can get busy in peak season. Easy walk into centre through the park.

One of the best Aire's we have stayed on. Like staying on a good campsite. Spacious pitches. EHU. Easy access and a short bike ride to where you pick up the shuttle bus to Mont St Michel.

We could not find the defined area for motorhome parking so parked in the coach park along with another motorhome. Did not stay night.

Great Aire which used to be a municipal campsite. Bourne facilities located outside the gate but water and EHU available on pitches. very peaceful. Some spaces by river. short stroll into small village.

Centrally located and within easy access to town. Very busy in peak season but relaxed feel. Entry barrier and pay upon exit. bourne facilities at far end. Some noise from coaches parking to right side.
Sitecode: 62137
Very busy in peak season we were lucky to get our 9m van a space (just) barrier & pay on exit. Bourne facilities. Excellent location for beach and centre but noisy from nearby footpath and road. Tip, try park on right side after entrance as away from road and EHU points located that side.

Very large Aire near marina split in two by main road bridge. Small Aire for vans under 7m by tourist office, large Aire and where bourne is for all size vans. Walking distance to centre and seafront.
Sitecode: 1312
Located at gate of campsite. Pay Campsite to get key fob to open Aire barrier. Bourne facility not working. Noise from campsite until midnight and then noise from campsite clientele taking short cut from town back to site via Aire until early hours. We lost our key fob deposit due to campsite reception opening hours and being closed when we departed. Made our stay very expensive for what it was.
Sitecode: 14503
Large Aire located 10-15mins walk from main shopping district and promenade. Small supermarket located near crossroads with Bunker. Barrier entry and pay machine exit. Bourne at far end. EHU available if lucky take adapter splitter with you. Town centre and beach excellent.
Sitecode: 60424
Great little fire located next to the British Commonwealth war cemetery and museum. Within easy walking distance into the centre of Bayeux. Some noise from traffic but not overly noisy. Note, you can no longer overnight in the centre Bayeux car park. Also, there is bourne facilities at the Carrefour supermarket in Bayeux for water & waste located in car park near to petrol station.
Sitecode: 3937
Great little fire located on top of hill overlooking the sea and a short walk into the centre.
