We arrived after the Gaustabanen closed (5:00 PM). We parked in the upper parking lot (there was no sign prohibiting it; at that time, only campers were parked in the lower parking lot), where it soon became quiet. This parking lot is nice and flat. Cold wind, but otherwise we had a wonderfully quiet night, with spectacular views of the Gaustatoppen and the surrounding area.

Nice, cozy, and quiet campsite. Super friendly campsite manager. The campsite is a bit outdated, which is a shame. The sanitary facilities are dated. Unfortunately, there are also far too few sanitary facilities, and as a result, they are not very clean. The price was reasonable: 300 NOK for 1 night including electricity. In addition to the previous review regarding the TomTom navigation: if you use Google Maps, getting to the campsite is no problem at all.

Nice campsite, quiet and with a lovely view. We did not use the toilets. This parking area is located on the main road, but we hardly noticed it at night; it was quiet.

Nice campsite. Clean sanitary facilities. Super friendly manager. Good value for money. We had a pleasant stay here.

Quiet parking lot, quite large, but we were only parked with 3 campers and a few cars. No other facilities.

Nice, quiet campsite. We did not use the public toilets.

Nice campsite with a view of the water. There is room for a large number of campers, but the sanitary facilities are far too limited in proportion to the number of campers, making them not very clean. Cross the bridge and you can walk straight into the old town. Supermarket within walking distance. We paid 340 NOK for one night, including electricity; quite a lot of money for what you get. Payment was via a machine; it took a bit of figuring out how that thing worked.

Neat and quiet campsite. Beautiful view. The sanitary facilities were very clean, still quite new. Upon arrival, your license plate is automatically registered. At the machine (only in Norwegian), you can choose whether to pay in advance or afterwards; if you choose to pay in advance, you receive an access code for the door of the sanitary building. Town and supermarket within walking distance. We would gladly return here again.

Nice campsite by a small harbor. Quiet. Sanitary facilities are reasonable. No electricity. Payment via a machine, works fine. We paid €27 for one night. For what you get for this price, we think it is on the expensive side.

Beautiful, quiet campsite, with only a trash can and no other facilities. A visit to Egeskov Castle is definitely worthwhile. We would love to come back again.

Large campsite. Nice and clean sanitary facilities. But unfortunately, our night's rest was ruined by noisy Norwegians who were chattering until 3 a.m. To make matters worse, a radio started playing at another camper at 6 a.m. It is a pity that they apparently haven't implemented a rule here to be quiet at night (at any rate, it wasn't enforced).

A really beautiful spot. 400 Kronen is quite a lot of money for a campsite without amenities. But a visit to the lighthouse and museum is included in the price, which makes it well worth the money.

Lovely, quiet, small-scale campsite. Beautiful nature. Simple, clean sanitary facilities. Friendly Dutch owner. We would love to come back here again.
