Fine spot, although the route there is a challenge: 4 km long, narrow, sometimes with gutters, and with oncoming traffic that doesn't always give way. That's why we left early. Friendly waitress who speaks English. The choice from the menu (digital only) was limited and the quality mediocre. Camper pitch 10 euros, regardless of meal purchase. The toilet can be used to empty chemical toilets. It is quite a climb from the lower pitch, also to fetch water.

Great spot on a recently opened campsite. Sanitary facilities are top-notch: including a wonderfully warm rain shower. Very friendly owner who worked in the Netherlands for several years and speaks good Dutch. Tasty food in the cozy restaurant. Tip: pasta with half a chicken; I have rarely eaten such delicious pasta! The grey water disposal point is a bit difficult to reach. A small bucket under the drain is the solution. Highly recommended!

Great place where you can truly unwind. Very friendly owners who speak good English. Beautiful view of the mountains with the scent of blooming jasmine (late May). Plenty of covered seating areas with good Wi-Fi. Water in the corner of the site. 13 euros per night is a steal for such a perfect campervan site.

Great spot with water and toilet nearby. The lake is invisible due to tall reeds. At the traffic lights on the main road, there is a patisserie selling delicious pastries; highly recommended. A supermarket with friendly staff is located on the main road, approximately 300 meters from the patisserie towards Thessaloniki.

Great spot close to the sea on a pebble beach with no amenities. You can get good food and water at restaurant Blue Blue by the harbor. Tip: spaghetti with shrimp. Friendly service on a cozy terrace by the cheerful owner and his likeable wife, Maria.

Beautiful spot with a view of Mount Athos. The road there starts unpaved but later becomes an asphalt road. Small sandy beach a 10-minute walk away. There are supermarkets in Sarti, an hour's bike ride away. There are more options for parking a camper on the cape.

Great place to stay overnight. Nice coastal walk of about 3 km to Cannons with changing views. Turn left before the fort and follow the signs. The Cannons were a surprise….

Great location, also for visiting Thessaloniki. Drive the camper to the IKEA parking lot and from there take bus 2 or 3 to the city center. 40.550674 22.984816. Buy a bus ticket on the bus and scan it. €0.60 one-way. Get off at the Arch of Galerius.

If you like tame, free-roaming dogs and cats, this is a good camper site. Friendly welcome with coffee or schnapps. The owner can make herself understood in German and English. Tip: You can avoid the walk or bike ride to the bus stop by driving your camper to the parking lot at IKEA. From there, buses 2 and 3 depart for the city center. You pay for the tickets (€0.60) by card on the bus, after which you scan them at the machine next to it.
