Not everyone is enthusiastic about First Camp, and I have to say, we had the same impression. However, we had a very comfortable stay here (among the permanent pitches). Beautiful, quiet, spacious pitches and a fully renovated restroom facility with plenty of showers and toilets. The campsite is beautifully situated on Lake Vänern. Karlstad city center is 6.5 km away and easily accessible by bike.

We stayed here for two nights. A lovely, quiet campsite right on the lake and within cycling distance of Gränna. A small shop with a bread service, and adequate restrooms.

What peace and quiet in the southern part of Öland. You could call it a gem! The pitches are spacious and the sanitary facilities are clean. And the big swimming pool is the perfect bonus!

A large campsite with excellent facilities. The pitches are a bit uneven, but with a little searching, you can find a level spot. Borgholm is a short bike ride away, and it's a lovely town to visit. There are many families with children, which isn't surprising given its beachfront location and swimming pool.

Beautiful, quiet campsite. Simple sanitary facilities that are cleaned daily. We had reserved a pitch in advance, but wanted a different one upon arrival. Because there was no reception desk or phone number, we emailed them anyway. We received a quick response and were able to choose a different pitch.

Great campsite for a few days. Highly recommended, everything is there from a small shop to a pizzeria and snack bar. And oh yes, the sanitary facilities are excellent.
