Great stay, with spacious camper pitches on the campsite itself. Cozy atmosphere and friendly welcome. Very nice sanitary buildings with all amenities. Very rural and quiet location, good starting point for nice bike rides, including a visit to the beautiful Kalmthoutse Heide. In short, highly recommended!

Overall positive assessment of the campsite: friendly welcome, democratic prices, all amenities, handy shop with bread, public transport within reachable distance and. . a beautiful sanitary building !! Unfortunately an unpleasant experience for us: Despite our timely reservation - apparently still too late !! - we were allocated a place in a rather scary and unpaved street, with the result that you get to your place in a very difficult and risky way had to 'wring'. Due to the intensive use of campers, the soil was damaged and muddy. Believe me, over the years we've been used to something, but at a campsite like this this didn't seem appropriate at all. Also the power connection - compared to other places on the campsite - was very primitive. In short: if you do receive campers in a very intensive way, all year round, make sure that 'all' places have sufficient space, solid paving and a safe power connection.

I am not inclined to rate this motorhome so badly. As a 'transit place' this is best suited. Even very useful, because you are close to an Aldi and a Lidl! Suitable as a transit place for one night, otherwise not! Not very cozy, attractive place on a mix-parking. Not very quiet! I do not agree with 'overly severe criticism' at this location. It is and remains a large city site and can not be compared with other campsites. But in terms of service, facilities, etc., they do their utmost to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Sanitary buildings are indeed outdated, but the modern and beautiful shower carts (free showers!) Are thoroughly polished every day. Wide choice of places. And - as already mentioned several times - the ideal place to visit the city by bus or bike! Electricity, drinking water, water and toilet discharge can all be done on site. If you compare the other RV sites and campsites near Copenhagen, I would still dare to recommend this address. The only downside: the terrain is not so flat, so you have to search a bit. . .

Generally suitable motorhome with a beautiful view of the water! Yet a minus point: Since these 4 camper pitches are not directly within the marina area, and rather secluded, does not it feel so nice to 'only' overnight. . . There are indeed - as already mentioned - a number of weak points to report, such as the outdated sanitary installation. The question is always: are we not inclined to raise the bar ever higher and to impose more and more requirements? As owner of a camper you have more than enough comfort and facilities. For me this place still gets a good score because - important - the typical appearance of a Danish marina. . without too much luxury, but with a cozy atmosphere. And in the end you have - however primitive !! - sanitation, water and cassette discharge, drinking water and electricity. So maybe you dare to review your opinion about camper places!
