Wonderfully quiet campsite with excellent facilities, highly recommended.

Very friendly owner who takes the time to point out the most beautiful spots. The sanitary facilities look a bit old-fashioned but are clean. Beautiful cycling routes in the area (do buy a map for the dunes).

Beautiful campsite with a very friendly owner couple, situated directly on the Linge with plenty of fishing opportunities and a good base for walking and cycling, such as to the castle gardens in Hemmen. Impeccably neat and clean sanitary facilities. Covered bicycle storage with sockets to charge electric bike batteries. Spacious pitches, each with a power connection. Shops are within walking distance.

PLEASE NOTE: afternoon quiet, so do not check in from 13:00 to 15:00. Otherwise, a great location with good, clean facilities, a nice little shop, and a friendly owner. We stayed one night longer than planned.

Strange, you have to book and pay first before you can see where you're going. You have reserved, but upon arrival it turns out that all spots are taken and you have to pick a spot between the horse pasture, an old bus, and piles of firewood. When you ask why all the spots are taken despite the fact that we had reserved, we were told that they had all reserved last year already; upon inquiry with these campers, it turned out that was not true.

Basically everything has already been said: friendly owner, spotless sanitary facilities, spacious pitches, surrounded by nature on the edge of the village and a very short cycling distance from Leeuwarden with various interesting museums; in short, definitely worth 5 stars.

Super nice camper pitch with neat facilities. Beautiful location. Straight from the camper pitch into the forest to take a 5 km walk through woods, heath, and sand drifts. Eat out or right next door to the camper 👍
