The location is a bit on its way out. The bushes are now so high that the sea view has disappeared. In addition, the maintenance of the grounds is really overdue. The grass is long and the holes are not filled in. We did have a wonderful night's sleep. And where we had to pay ๐คทโโ๏ธ So a free stay. Grey water can be emptied using a bucket. And fresh water is available. There is a spotlessly clean toilet unit within walking distance.

Great place for 1 night. Price for camper with 2 persons + electricity is 35 euros. On the high side!
Sitecode: 62912
The place is indeed beautiful, but โcamping not permittedโ. So save yourself this trip!

Great spot at the end of a road. Many visitors to Silver Beach leave at the end of the day. We were with 4 campers and 6 tents at this location. An oasis of peace during the night.

What a fantastic place! Amazing views and an impressive sunset. The location is sensitive to wind. Up to wind force 3 it is nice to be there. With wind speeds above that I would look for another spot.
Sitecode: 157876
It's great that this facility is there. There are really too few of them here. However, the spot is partly occupied by delivery vans, so parking to empty the waste water tank is a challenge. The code for the location can be obtained at the petrol station cash register for 5 euros.

Great place with 0 facilities. Paying is a disaster. Payment machine is a disaster. Only accepts coins and when I wanted to pay 10 euros the machine stopped after 3 euros and gave a ticket until 00:00 ๐คทโโ๏ธ. According to locals, they never check. Spent the night here with 2 other campers. Wonderfully quiet, although somewhat windy (wind force 4 - 5).

Lovely quiet spot near the Community Center. Only destination traffic to the cable car to Dursey Island. Make sure you have cash with you for the cable car and the Fish & Chips hut. No internet on site. Also the parking fee at the Community Center (15 euros) can only be paid in cash. Furthermore no toilet facilities, but electricity and water are available. So basic facilities in a top location.

This concerns three places where you can overpower. Two places on the cliff and one down at the bay. All this within a distance of 500 meters. Lovely place on the cliff. Worth repeating.
Sitecode: 160698
Beautiful, brand new camper place, located 1.5 km from the beach. Spent the night with 5 fellow campers. All the facilities a camper place needs are present. Lovely place.

Small CP (5 places) on the edge of the village. Quiet evening - night had. Excellent base to spot cranes.
Sitecode: 26522
The location is excellent, but the sanitary facilities are very poor. An estimated 200 guests have to share two toilets and one sink in an old dilapidated building where wood rot and duct tape are the main ingredients. And that for the basic price of 4500 ISK and two surly receptionists... Just so you know!
Sitecode: 58822
The campsite is equipped in accordance with most Icelandic campsites. Sober sanitary facilities. There is a swimming pool, hot tub and showers for 1100 ISK p.p. The location is breathtaking for bird watchers. You could observe the redshanks, curlews and Icelandic godwits from your seat. beautiful area for short and longer walks. Highly recommended is this spot, 15 km from the main road.

A total of 40 km of unpaved road to the Latrarbjarg. After 10 km we turned the camper bus. Impossible to ride this properly in our humble opinion. So not an objective review of the campsite, but a warning about the road to it.
Sitecode: 82578
The campsite consists of two parts. Upon arrival you can stand either on the left or right of the road. In terms of amenities it is Icelandic standard, simple but clean. Price is 2000 ISK p.p. Electricity 1000 & shower 400. This campsite receives 5 stars based on its location and the very enthusiastic and very friendly owner. If you are on the sea side and are lucky, the orcas and whales will swim right in front of you. Recommended!!

The campsite will only open after June 20. The road to it from Hvammstangi is very difficult to drive with a camper. Distance is about 20 km. The campsite only opens this late because otherwise the seal breeding season would be disrupted. No formal review, but practical information.

These great and very spacious campers are located 10 km outside Akureyi, in the middle of nature. The E field is specific to campers. For camper and 2 people (without electricity) you pay 3600 ISK. Half of what you spend in Akureyi. Clean sanitary facilities, free showers, a swimming pool and a very quiet location. Highly recommended! Pay via Parka app or simply at the pool reception until 8:00 PM.

Quiet residence in the middle of the village, next to the school. Several lawns and a paved area. Simple sanitary facilities, but clean and free showers. Highly priced at 4,600 ISK for camper and 2 people + electricity. Very quiet (3 campers). And away from the hustle and bustle around the ring road.

The location is absolutely great in my opinion. We were alone among about 8 permanent caravans. The facilities, on the other hand, can be classified as meager. If there is a lot of wind coming I would reconsider staying in Eidi. Can be rough at the edges of the ocean.

Nice location, nicely away from the highway. You can stand on top of the plateau and perhaps at the bottom of the water. At least that's tried if you look at the path. I wouldn't do it with a camper (bus). Wonderfully quiet, in the middle of nature.
Sitecode: 106154
Location data is incorrect, is almost 7 km to the north (Viltgarden). Last kilometer on an unpaved path which is fine to drive in itself. Missing signage is quite difficult in the middle of nowhere. Finally found the location, but very disappointing in my eyes. Not really inviting and no one there either. Turned around and looked for another spot.

Please note that you turn right at the 1st parking lot. So before the water and not after the water. Then you come to an Easy Park P-place where you can park, but which does not make it to the Nyksund Bobilcamp. You can pay cash 130 kroner upon entry. What a wonderful place at the end of the world. An hour's drive from Sortland. Really worth it for peace seekers. We were all alone. A unique event in this region at the beginning of July.

Great place. Quite busy. After De Lofoten and Vesteralen, Senja has now also fallen prey to quite a few campers. Too few facilities in view of occupancy. Mostly lawn. Price for motorhome and 2 persons 250 kroner per night. Washing machine 25 kroner. Reception open from 12:00 to 13:00 and 18:00 to 19:00.

The sound of silence In the middle of nowhere Beautiful place in the middle of nature. in any case easily accessible with a bus camper (1.5 km unpaved path). Woken up in the morning by calling cranesโฆ.. This is my placeโฆ..

excellent location, yet somewhat oddly positioned in an industrial area. nothing wrong with that and calm. it was our last CP in norway and then it's a bit of an anti-climax location wise.
Sitecode: 14472
Idyllic spot just outside Viborg, really in the middle of nature. For 10 euros a nice spot with a very helpful owner who likes to chat and is an ambassador for promoting trips and places of interest in the vicinity.
Sitecode: 79106
Well that's a panorama view. we have crystal clear weather and therefore fantastic views. no further facilities, but the peace and space, that's what it was all about!
Sitecode: 97188
what a lovely place! a rushing stream in front of the door. can be up to 5 campers. we were there all alone. highly recommended for peace seekers and nature lovers.
Sitecode: 78794
Everything I'm looking for in a parking lot and certainly in this camper-overstretched area at the Atlanterhavsveien. Small-scale, quiet and wonderful view of the Atlantic Ocean. Up to 3 campers and at the store in Vevang you can load and unload again. Great great!
Sitecode: 66413
if there were 10 stars to be forgiven. A truly fantastic place. We lowered ourselves from the parking lot and stood so nicely out of the wind. Rich bird life on site if you like that. Meadow pipit, fitis, ring thrush and a sea eagle. Delightful spot, the pinnacle of getting back to nature.
Sitecode: 45007
Despite 7 RVs in this spot, it was breathtakingly quiet. Fantastic route Jondal-Utne-Odda with challenging passages. Excellent sanitary facilities and a wonderful view over the fjord.
Sitecode: 19189
In itself a beautiful and quiet CP. we were there alone. Facilities very moderate for 200 kroner. Only the disabled toilet was open. With 100 crowns it really would have been paid.
Sitecode: 44678
"the sound of silence" Beautiful and desirable place by the fjord. Formally 6 places, but the harbor master is creative and so we were there with 9 campers. Pay via EasyPark app. Pre-downloading at home is recommended. Price per night 100 crowns.
Sitecode: 95809
Really stay in the middle of nature. we were there with 3 colleague campers and had a cool night (3 degrees). This CP is one to remember if you like nature and adventure.
Sitecode: 59237
โIt's all about simplicityโ. Basic campsite, had a good and quiet stay. All amenities available, but 30 years back in time, but if you can get over that, it's quite a good stay.
Sitecode: 99447
In the middle of nature. Sometimes crane sounds from nearby nature reserve. In and around Stadil Fjord a great place for bird watchers. Campsite with lots of space and tranquility. Sanitary simple and clean. Free shower.
Sitecode: 10645
Great location, spacious pitches, nice and quiet. Evening walk along the canal is recommended. Basic amount 14 euros. Amenities were pay based on usage.
Sitecode: 50505
As a motor home you must have visited this CP. What a peace and what great facilities. Clean sanitary facilities, bread service and a canteen with something for everyone. And above all the amiable and enthusiastic John. Every CP would wish for such a committed owner. We'll be back, that's it!

A person can become perfectly happy here..... The municipality of Het Hogeland is allowed to scale up the level of maintenance of the greenery. A lot of deferred maintenance does not give it the look & feel that this place is really worth. On-Off system works perfectly.
Sitecode: 95262
Beautiful place in the middle of the fields between Sint Annaparochie and Nij Altoenae. We immediately felt at home and that was enhanced by the hospitality of the owner. If you are self-sufficient (only electricity available) there is no better place. Peace and SILENCE and one with nature.
