Quiet park up next to restaurant. Free when using the restaurant which provides a range of good value meals and drinks. Walking distance to large Saturday market and a few more bars / restaurants. Flat hardstanding with nice views of surrounding mountains.

Great free park up on the edge of Teruel. we used to stay by the police station but this is far better. Easy walk to Alcampo and McDonalds. Large marked spaces and possibility for trailers. closes at 10pm - 9am. Toilets in supermarket or McDs. Ease of access 10/10. Thank you Teruel.

Nice site right next to the beach. Beach bar very busy at the weekend but fine with no loud misic into the small hours. Nothing around within walking distance so bring supplies with you. There is an Aldi on the way in Aguilas. Clean toilets and showers. Very quiet at night apart from the noise of the ocean. Free wifi which is reasonable although not great. Helpful owner who does speak English. Reccommend phoning ahead.

Beautiful little campsite with easy access from the AP7/A7. Each pitch is level and has an artificial grass strip which is a great idea. Lovely, English speaking Belgian hosts are very welcoming and there is a cosy bar on site. EHU is good and you will need a 2 pin adapter. Good wifi included. Flat 20 min walk into town with cycle way. Highly recommended. Ease of access 9/10, the track to the site is a little uneven but fine.

Very strange to see around 50% of the pitches occupied with long term touring caravans but with absolutely no people. Maybe weekenders or because of the current travel restrictions. Spotless toilets and cheap onsite restaurant. Plenty of dog walking possibilities both in and outside of the site. Reception currently closes at 3pm so if you arrive after that, I would just find a pitch and go to reception in the morning. Ease of access 8/10.

Thanks to the town for providing this place. Mostly flat hardstanding with lightning (goes off at midnight). Grey / black dump, water / electric with token but not clear where to purchase. Toilet between restaurant and boulangerie (only open Wednesday & Sunday) not the toilet, the boulangerie. Quiet night, no noise from the road. River walks 300 metres from the boulangerie. Ease of access 10/10.

No longer free but great value at 5 Euro per night including electric. Payment in the farm shop - they rely on your honesty, nobody comes round to check. Restaurant busy at the weekend. Ease of access 10/10.

Good overnight stop. Walk to sleepy little town that has a few restaurants and bars plus a shop and bank. No problems with locals using the free tap. Ease of access 10/10 if you avoid the centre.

Great aire by the (now closed) swimming pool. Area looks a bit tired but services working and a good place to overnight. We had the place to ourselves but felt safe and very quiet at night. Ease of access 3/10 if you come through the very tight village, otherwise 8/10.

Love this place for being right in the city. Not noisy at night (even being a Friday). Officially 17 spaces but counted 29 when we were there, so very full. Ease of access 10/10.

Super facility on edge of the village where you will find a couple of bars and a large municipal swimming pool that does food and drinks. Flat ground with very clean restroom and showers. No shade so good for solar. If coming from the north N330 there’s 18Km of narrow winding roads to negotiate so would be tricky with a wide van. Ease of access into the CP, 10/10.

Idyllic spot by a picturesque fishing lake. Space for larger vans if required. Clean toilet block with water tap (without thread fitting). Not clear where to get Jetons for water and electric- the bar / restaurant seems to be closed down. Ease of access 10/10 (buses get in here).

In response to an unfair 1 star review. Of course it’s full of Brits - it’s right near the the major crossing point between the UK and Europe. Did he expect to be welcomed by hoards of moustachioed Frenchmen wearing hooped T-shirts and berets riding bicycles whilst playing the La Marseillaise on their accordions? Decent free facility with services at petrol station. Ease of access 10/10.

Excellent parking on edge of beautiful lake. Mainly flat 12 huge marked pitches on tarmac. All services without code entry inc ehu. Small supermarket in around 10 minutes walk. Ease of access 9/10 as card payment/ entry code system is a bit fiddly.

Arrived on a bank holiday so most bars and restaurants were closed. By 2pm all 6 pitches were taken. No good for vans over 8 metres, you won’t fit in. Walking distance to the centre which has a huge cathedral and free museum next door. Ease of access 8/10 as you have to shuttle a bit to get into the bays.

CP full of workers’ cars during the week. By 17:30 they had left. 5 dedicated spaces for MH up to 7.5 metres. Six more MHs turned up to park in the normal CP which was fine as the following day was a bank holiday. If in these spaces, you’ll probably need to leave before the workers turn up. Nice walk along the river to town. Dog walking area behind. Access 7/10 as tight through town for big vans.

Free water and disposal, no ehu. On edge of pleasant village but no bars or food places that seem to be open. One flat gravel pitch next to service point, other places on slightly sloping grass. Not suitable for vans over 10 metres. Ease of access 9/10.

Be aware that there ore only 7 marked bays, no additional space. We arrived mid afternoon and there were 3 vans parked. Only 3 free electric points- one van had hogged 2 of them (why you would need 2 is beyond me). Sat nav co-ords fine. Very clean and tidy spot. Ease of access 10/10.

Free aire with working facilities. Five minutes walk to small town with restaurants bars and cafes. Not the prettiest place as across from a mainly disused industrial estate but very quiet place for an overnight stop. Large cp which is suitable for large motorhomes with trailers etc. Ease of access 10/10.

Wonderful facility within easy walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. 20 large marked MH bays with what looks like new ehu boxes for all pitches. There is plenty of space in the huge mixed parking area. We would happily have paid but no one came to collect. MH sat nav warns of 3.5 tonne limit, but not the case. Ease of access 10/10.

Excellent free parking with services. Cafe bar on site with toilets for patrons and offers food and drink at low prices. Quiet, even though right on the main road. Local pond life youth very noisy banging drums and reving engines till 1am at which point I assume they were moved on by the police. Ease of access 10/10.

Stay here at you peril! We arrived mid afternoon on a lovely sunny day. Took the dog for a 15 minute walk only to return to a smashed in side window and theft from the van. There were people around sunbathing and other motorhomes parked in the area but no witnesses. Dropped in to a MH dealer in Antas who said that they had had 3 or 4 incidents in the Vera to Vallaricos area this week.

Stunning location on the shoreline of Lake Negratin. Restaurant is open daily except Thursdays. No services except bins otherwise this would be a 10. Friendly staff at the restaurant said it was fine to stay overnight. We were alone so very quiet although dustmen came at 7am to empty the bins. Ease of access 9/10 - road down is a bit rough.

Superb site within easy walking distance to the village and beach. Rubbish has to be taken to the community bins (200 metres), I guess they do not have bins on-site to keep wasps and flies down in the summer. Nice flat pitches on stones, with extra length pitches for those with trailers etc. €15 with ehu or €12 without. Ease of access 10/10.

On arrival would rate a 1. This is a car park - for cars at the sports centre. No mixed parking or MH spaces, services or anything to indicate you can overnight. Anything bigger than a Sprinter will have to overhang the grass to fit. However, cp flat, shady, illuminated, dead quiet after 23:00. Old town with Parisian ave 30 mins walk. Nice restaurant 100 m on ind est opp 7 club. Access 10/10.Great

Well located close to A23. Wide marked bays on flat concrete. Space behind for overhang when reversing in a longer van. Youth noise till around midnight but not threatening, just a bit loud. More noisy were the vans that arrived in the early hours. Ease of access 10/10 - the MH bays are on the right before you enter the main car park.

Beautifully maintained aire within small village. Flat, illuminated hardstanding, free electric, clean toilet at the back of the village hall by the church. Nothing much in the village but good for a peaceful stopover. Ease of access 10/10 if you turn at the crossroad and not go though the car park.

Hats off to the Marie for providing such a great space for motorhomes. Right in the town, shops, bars, restaurants, with shade, reasonably flat, toilets, waste services (no ehu), quiet at night, everything that you could want. Supermarket within 0.5 km. Lots of parking places. Ease of access 10/10.

Sloping car park located around a public library. Walking distance to village centre. Grey / black waste disposal, free water. Not the most attractive place but quiet nights sleep. Short walk to the bakery which opens at 5am. Ease of access 10/10.

No services otherwise would be 10. Nice quiet spot close to Basel. Restaurant doesn’t seem to be open on Wednesdays (maybe because it was a bank holiday) which is a shame as it looked like a great setting. Ease of access 10/10.

Spectacular views from this huge free car park. Reception open till 17:30 as are toilets and showers (2 euros/francs). Super clean facilities. The Torrent-Neuf trail is well worth a visit if not a little scary on the hanging bridges. There is also a nice restaurant on the entry to the CP. Ease of access 3/10 due to steep, narrow roads - but worth the effort if you can.

Nice CP close to village. Although there are only 3 dedicated MH places the area around the church is flat and spacious. Walking distance to supermarket and restaurants although none seem to open on Tuesdays. The church bell does dong every 15 mins but otherwise super quiet. Ease of access 10/10.

Super location with easy walk to historic town. Get in early to bag a dedicated space. Out of season I suspect the rest of the carpark would be empty but in July and August there are activities at the castle which means the cp is rammed till 1am. Ease of access 8/10 as longer vans will need to manoeuvre back and forth to get between the signs especially when there are cars parked.

Great location on the shores of Lake Geneva. Entry through public carpark. Super clean facilities, showers, toilets etc and all motorhome services included. Bear in mind this is a family campsite so expect lots of kids. Would rate a 10 but a bit pricey as electric is extra. Ease of access 10/10.

Beautiful location on a working farm. A little unlevel in places but no major problem. Good value stopover or for a few days. More like a campsite than an aire. Ease of access 9/10 (single track road to the site).

Good flat CP plenty of space. Restaurant closed Mondays. We were the only van - surprising as it was the first week in August. Ease of access 10/10 4km from motorway.

CP close to town and around 4km from motorway. Space for quite a lot of vans but we had the place to ourselves. Couldn’t see the grey or black waste facility but there is.a working tap. Toilets by the boules courts were locked. Flat gravel hardstanding (not lit) but very chalky dust. So fine if you don’t mind making your carpets filthy. Ease of access 9/10 (some narrow parts through the town).

Second stay here this time in July - if you don’t need services then great. Best to arrive before 20:00 as fills up with cars. Prior to that, nobody here.

Flat, illuminated hardstanding, with free water and electric. Nice views. Situated on a busy dairy farm which means some smells, animal and machinery noise as can be expected. Also very close to the runway at Girona airport so some aircraft noise. Well worth a visit though. Ease of access 9/10 (approach roads quite narrow).

Great overnight stop, 3 level tarmac pitches plus free water and disposal facilities. Handy access to the hiking and cycle track. Close to centre with Spa supermarket and restaurants. Sat nav tip - don’t follow it until you see the motorhome sign on the main road - our useless Copilot Caravan took us straight into someone’s garden. Ease of access 9/10 if you turn at the sign and go up the hill.

Perfect overnight stop. Close to village centre shops etc. Does slope a bit so levelling ramps probably needed. Unlit and very quiet. Note - water tap in the cemetery was not working, so no services. Bin overflowing but otherwise clean and tidy. Ease of access 10/10.

Here in early April with one other van. With the wet weather, one or two pitches were waterlogged. Quiet parking with great views. Ease of access 8/10 very close to A10 just follow coordinates and go beyond the houses. Payment machine not working so free stopover. Vans over 8 metres may find it difficult to fit in the pitch. Hardstanding with some lighting.

Super friendly owner. Nice site although we probably didn’t see it at its best due to the weather. Ease of access 8/10. Last bit is along a stone track but okay. Very large motorhomes might find it difficult to manoeuvre around the site.

Just complete the autocaravans form at artajo.es to get the gate code which will be emailed to you. If it has been wet, the area around the lake may be too muddy. Simply bypass the motorhome sign and follow the road to the factory building. If your sat nav gets confused follow the track from the DAF garage parallel to the motorway slip road, it should get you back on course. Great free location.

As you approach the town, make sure that you take the first exit from the roundabout. Sat navs may try to take you over the hill but it’s quite tight for a large van. The Turre road gives much better access. The parking is basically a piece of waste ground with some flat areas. No services but super easy to get to the old town. Just walk up the hill till you get to the lift.

Nice site with lots of available spaces when we were here in February. 10 mins walk to the town / beach. Many long termers from Holland, Germany, UK and France. Downside was the internet. When I pay extra, I expect it to work properly. Even though we had excellent wi-fi connection, the internet continually dropped out making streaming impossible. Free wi-fi by restaurant was very good though.

Don’t understand the previous comment regarding narrow pitches. We found them quite generous and mostly level. There are some massive motorhomes here, all comfortably positioned. Good facilities and well located, 500 metres to the cliff tops. Coviran supermarket across the road as are a couple of bar / restaurants. Wi-fi is okay but not brilliant and is included. Very quiet at night.

We arrived at 13:00 and got the last space (no electric), so very popular. Great views and walks. No wi-fi unless you are next to the bar. Nice couple who are site wardens. Drinks are now €1.20 but still cheap. The contact number given doesn’t work and they don’t answer emails making it difficult to book. You could take the chance but they did turn a lot of people away when we were there.

Good for overnight stop, right on the A92. Quiet at night. Not the most attractive place but secure with a slight slope to the pitches. All MH services including a raised platform camper wash. Great wi-fi and electric.

Lovely secluded site amongst tropical trees and foliage. Nicely marked pitches of which many are held by long term residents whom all seem very friendly. Five minute walk to the beach and thirty to the centre. Entry is by passing in front of the bar restaurant along the lane. Ring the bell at the iron gates for reception. If not booked it’s worth parking by the bar and walking down. Great wi-fi.

Nice site behind a scruffy looking used car lot. Friendly owners that live on site. Good security, flat gravel pitches with electric if required at extra charge. Waste and water services included in the fee. 10 minute walk along the beach to the town. Very quiet at night. Toilet facilities are basic basic but clean. Would stay again.

Nice location close to town. Two free electric hookups, free water and grey waste drain. Main site closed until March 22 2018 so no black waste disposal. Stayed November 2017.

Good points: location for stopover north or south, flat pitch, price, wi-fi, friendly owner. Not so good: facilities, gravel on mud pitch and mud where they're growing new grass around the pitches- however stay was in November so they can be forgiven. Would stay here again. Recommend calling first as I could only see 4 hardstanding pitches.

Good for stopover. Flat, hard standing, well lit, close to Mercadona, quiet overnight, easy access. Surprisingly busy with MHs considering it being November. Will stay here again as very near to A23.
