Both old and new Brioude are well worth a visit, including the Roman bridge over the Allier, the beautiful surroundings, and the magnificent basilica. The campsite's location on the Allier is also a plus, as is the quality of the Wi-Fi. The campsite itself is a typical Onlycamp site, with staff who do their utmost but are not given the necessary resources (time and equipment), resulting in toilets remaining closed and cleaning being neglected.

Great small-scale municipal campsite run by enthusiastic young people who speak good English. The sanitary facilities have likely been recently renovated (updated) and are kept very clean. The WiFi is also of excellent quality. As for the pitches, the photos speak for themselves; they are suitable for longer campers or caravans, with satellite reception available at many sites. Flat, car-free cycle paths run along the Loire to Orleans and other destinations.

The information that the campsite is closed is incorrect; the campsite is open as of August 30, 2026, and reasonably busy. It is a great campsite for visiting the village of Veules-les-Roses, which is less than a kilometer away. Cycling in the surrounding area is also feasible, though electric assistance is a plus (hilly terrain). The sanitary facilities are good and clean, although not all pitches are level. Satellite reception is available on 80% of the pitches.

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a rating (which is why we have adopted the average rating) because the campsite was still closed on April 7, and therefore the information on this Campercontact website is incorrect.

A great campsite for visiting Segovia... and it's definitely worth it. I don't understand the point of giving a "quality" rating if you haven't been there, based solely on failed email or phone contact. The one star in the previous review is, in our opinion, completely undeserved. Nice and clean with ample sanitary facilities, shady and sunny spots, sufficient satellite reception, and friendly staff.

A 4-star rating would have been justified considering the staff, level pitches, sanitary facilities, and surrounding area. The fact that we had to pay €26 per day for two people in a campervan, while the pool and restaurant were closed from September 1st, and we were charged €6 per day for electricity, makes even a 2-star rating a bit high. €6 per day, in particular, is a complete rip-off.

I completely agree with the previous writer, we also stood for the same reason in front of a sign "Complet" and a closed reception at 14:45. We have been coming to this campsite for years and then called in the course of the morning to see if they had space. The campsite recently turned out to be taken over by Onlycamp and that, given the reviews at other Onlycamp campsites, is absolutely no advantage! Only space if you have booked in advance via the website

We visit many campsites each year, this one is among the absolute top. Large places of which also sufficient with satellite reception. More than enough and very clean toilets and showers, grey water disposal point, excellent washing machines and dryers, swimming pool shop and restaurant. Also the surroundings, with its characteristic bays, beautiful beaches and great (and safe) cycling and walking possibilities. Prices vary per season.

Campsite is managed by a nice and enthusiastic family and is still being expanded. Sanitary facilities of top quality. A visit more than worth it.

5 stars definitely worth, just because of the price/quality ratio. All-inn €82.20 for 5 nights. Furthermore, all previous praise is fully justified including great (quality billiard cloth) paved cycle path, former railway track, to Carpentras (and beyond) and l'isle-sur-Sorgue. The village itself at 10 min. walking distance and Carpentras at +/- 5 km and l'isle-sur-Sorgue at 12 km cycling distance.

After the experience with Orbitur Aveiro, the Orbitur organisation here shows that a campsite can also be run well, although the prices of over €30 per day remain too high for the quality offered compared to most other campsites.

Early September stayed 4 days at this campsite. Unfortunately a confirmation of previous experiences with Orbitur campsites. Overdue (no?) maintenance, downright bad wifi (often drops out and in many places no reception), toilet buildings smelling of urine etc, and that for prices above 30 euros/day.

A great campsite with excellent WiFi (best near the bar), bread service in the bar, in a nice town and with a boat trip on the Douro. The only downsides are that the dishwater is lukewarm (can be solved by getting hot water in the ladies' toilet) and most places are not level. Let's hope they are not taken over by the Orbitur camping organisation!

We were here, after 2 years, now the 2nd time for a stopover on the way to Portugal. That stopover has become 4 nights again. Judgment can be short: Everything top class, both on the campsite and in the area. Even if you are not religious you will have to admit that "paradise" exists, but it is now located at Gondrin.

We fully agree with the assessment of, among others, Cees-Dijkhuis (14-06-23). And there was certainly nothing wrong with the showers or the dimensions of the places.

Nice small-scale and quiet campsite with paved pitches for campers and a very hospitable couple, Joka and Patrick, as owners. Paradise for cyclists through a beautiful rolling landscape over well-paved polder roads where the only fellow road users seem to consist of the occasional tractor. Bicycle with support is an advantage.

Excellent small-scale campsite with large pitches, good satellite reception options, very safe (cyclists and pedestrians only) cycle paths along the campsite, including 1 to le mt. St Michel (+/- 10 km). The restaurant is highly recommended with a good price-quality ratio. One of the reviews mentions a price of €32/night..... we paid €19, so prices in the app are correct.

Simply a "gem" between the grape fields. Top sanitary building and unprecedentedly good WiFi (at current +/- 20% occupancy of the campsite). Also enough places with satellite antenna possibility and reasonable cycling options (electronic support an advantage). The restaurant is also reasonable. Only downside, which means 1 star less, Karaoke evening in the restaurant yesterday (Saturday). Although it ended at 00:00, but still quite a bit of noise.

Completely agree with previous review. We arrived at 13:30 and waited half an hour as they are closed from 12:00 to 14:00. Sufficient parking space in front of the gate. Very friendly welcome and excellent advice by a good English-speaking Frenchwoman. we also paid € 19.00 for the camper, 2 people and electricity! So something must have gone wrong with the €29.50 in one of the reviews. Everything on the campsite is perfectly fine, including satellite reception options. The WiFi is free and that's a good thing.

Great place to stay overnight in case of an emergency. The double track, regular and high speed line, adjoin the campsite border at 75 mtr! 6 to 8 trains/hour, stops around 00:00 but starts again at 04:00. for electricity € 4, - and for the shower € 1, - ....... but you also get wonderfully cold water for that!

Wonderful campsite to explore the area. Good cycling opportunities to the beach, lake in nature reserve and surrounding villages. Do ask for advice for the safe polder roads, Portuguese motorists and cyclists are a less good combination! Very good WiFi and satellite reception everywhere and reasonably flat pitches as well as sufficient and clean sanitary facilities. Dogs only heard in the morning and evening, feeding time.

Maybe a bad day/week here or a fluke but it's really not possible to make more than a meager 6 at the moment (29Aug22). No WiFi, swimming pool closed, no hot washing up water, no toilet paper. Positive.... the places, the friendliness of the staff and the price of €10.31 per night.

We spent 6 very nice days here. All the superlatives expressed in previous reviews are true for 200%! Beautiful and flat large pitches, good WiFi, satellite dish coverage everywhere, beautiful cycling and walking routes through an environment where the proverb "Living like God in France" must have been coined. And indeed, run by a very welcoming and helpful couple, Sandra and Wouter.

Completely agree with the previous reviews. Comes with excellent WiFi, even streaming is possible, I can't judge how that is with a full campsite. The area is also beautiful for both cycling and walking, and finally use of satellite dish is possible everywhere and 500 meters from the N21 at +/- 40 km SW Limoges. In short, great overnight accommodation to Spain/Portugal vv but also for a longer stay.

It is indeed a great campsite but the review of Hymer 690 is not correct for this campsite. If the Douro has not overflowed, this campsite is about 100 km south of the Douro.

Great CP, spacious pitches, satellite reception everywhere, good free WiFi and WiFi for €1,-/day with which streaming is also possible.... and located on beautiful cycling routes with a kind of open-air museum (village Bronkhorst) 3 km away. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is entirely personal, the number of washing up areas (2) and toilets (2 + urinal) is a bit on the tight side.

At the end of April stood at this campsite for a week. We couldn't think of any negatives. Top quality WiFi, sanitary facilities are in order and will be further optimized/modernised, satellite reception everywhere and a great area for walking and cycling .... beautiful routes available (electric support is a plus due to differences in height). And not to forget the pleasant and helpful (Dutch) owners.

The campsite is clean, beautiful places and good and clean sanitary buildings. The disadvantage for people without a dog is that every caravan and motorhome seems to be vomiting at least 2 dogs and the 80-100 % WiFi probably indicates what percentage of the time the capacity is too low. Especially ideal for dog owners.

Dish reception everywhere but also excellent WiFi (included in price). Beautiful cycling routes in the area, space where bicycles can be stored and loaded (closed at night) and last but not least everything as environmentally conscious as possible. In short, well worth the price and therefore also the 5 stars.

Great campsite with friendly and helpful managers. Everything is kept very clean and there are currently enough free places because foreigners are almost not present yet. Excellent WiFi for €1.50/day for 2 people, satellite reception everywhere, large pitches and centrally located for most D-day sights. Cycling is also doable without assistance, but electrical assistance is an advantage.

All previous reviews are correct. What has not been mentioned is that when it rains, the wheels sink into the clay and hardening should actually be applied for campers! This morning 2 campers had to be pulled out with the help of a neighbor with a bulldozer, neatly arranged by the owner. So on arrival and possibly. absence owner not v.d. go down gravel paths!!

Great small-scale campsite with nice helpful owners (married) couple. Paved camper pitches, almost all suitable for satellite reception and reasonable WiFi. The environment is also beautiful with beautiful safe cycling routes, which towards the coast can also be done without support. In short, recommended.

All previous positive reviews are still completely correct and do not need to be added to the campsite. The price is "camper place" competitive, CC ACSI € 18, -. The camper place 200 meters away costs € 16.50 ..... without shower / toilet etc! Also recommended is the restaurant next to the campsite, for those who like mussels ...., "Mussels in Camembert sauce"! Only the Wi-Fi price, € 1 / hour or € 8/24 hours prevents the 5th star.

we spent a few days here last week. An ideal and very beautiful place, right on the Waal. Due to the size of the places and the measures taken, shower and toilet closed when we were there (chemical toilet dump with extra disinfection) and extra distance at the reception, a safe place in this Corona time. With excellent WiFi and satellite dish everywhere.

The surroundings are just as lovely as the campsite looks. This campsite is well worth its high score, a 9 or 10 on all fronts. Especially the large pitches and the view from the camper / caravan / tent are phenomenal. There are also so many beautiful villages in the area (also accessible by bike, with support) that a multi-day stay is recommended.

Great place to stay and in good weather (we had bad luck, lots of rain) also a lovely environment that is worth visiting. Antenna dish can be used in all places and Wi-Fi is also of excellent quality. Full gravel coverage so no mud or problems even in bad weather. Enthusiastic management and excellent coffee / cappuccino in the bar.

Beautifully situated campsite with enthusiastic and helpful management (Bekas family). Cozy village within walking (30 min) / cycling distance, flat and between the orange orchards. Great location with all facilities for a more day stay and in a beautiful bike area (Green Heart). Good junction routes, eg the Noordeinder lake and to the Amstel (including Uithoorn).

Middelburg, Vlissingen, Westkapelle and Domburg on bicycle distance (<15 km), Zoutelande within walking distance, <2 km. All places on the campsite in spring and autumn € 15, - all-in. A 9.2 as average rating requires a visit. And to be honest, it is a paradise and worth the score. The area is also great with a landscape that equals Tuscany and plenty of attractions in the area. Also for cyclists (and especially wierenners) a beautiful area, where some (electric) support is an advantage. And top class Wifi.

Beautiful campsite with 5 special camper pitches for +/- € 20, - / day (April 2018). Collioure, a very beautiful artists village with a cozy market within walking distance and beautiful surroundings. As far as the previously described problem for large motorhomes is concerned, the pictures speak for themselves seems to me! The restaurant alone is already worth a visit, delicious cuisine for a fair price and very good service.

The problems with the flow meter that were discussed in June 2016 are no longer applicable. Meters are clearly visible / verifiable and on arrival you get the meter reading on paper. The extra consumption above 4 Kw / day costs at most a few dimes. Furthermore, all positive points in previous assessments are well presented. In short, wonderful camping / environment.

We fully endorse the judgment of JvdPunte. The area is beautiful, especially the coastal road to Vilaricos. The remark. the meter readings (06-2016) no longer apply. The meter readings are visible and you get the initial position on paper + the note. that 4Kw / day is included in the price, with a consumption of 5 to 6 Kw (most caravans / motorhomes) there are a few dimes.

The previous scores and assessments are 100% justified. We have been there for more than a week around the Easter days and are guaranteed to come back. The environment is beautiful and a treat for hikers, cyclists and motorcycle / scooter users. When Cartagena is a beautiful city and Saskia and John are great hostess / gentleman and regularly organize a delicious "table".

Prima CP / campsite with friendly welcome by Dutch owners Joke and Wil. Good, clean and warm showers (3) and toilets (3) and in the restaurant, belonging to the hotel of the same owners, a delicious meal is served for a good price. The village of Blesle is 2 km away and is easily accessible on foot and definitely worth a visit.

Read with surprise that Harald had only found a "hole in the ground" as a men's toilet! Probably too few doors opened because there are also several toilets with "our" pot.

Excellent overnight camping but also worth staying longer and visiting the town, certainly the old monastery. Food cooking in your camper / caravan is definitely not necessary, the restaurant is of prime quality with good value for money. In many places good range for the dish.

Nice camping which is led by an enthusiastic young Dutch couple in a very beautiful environment. Tomar, Fatima and the immediate surroundings of camping are a little longer stay worth it. As far as the steep slope is concerned, I totally agree with the previous writer (Oopa53), purely emotional. Caravans pull Remy with its 4-wheel driven Nissan for you as you wish.

Very cozy and pleasant site with very enthusiastic and helpful owners couple. In a kind of orchard surrounded by vineyards and beautiful cycling routes, including to Aigues Mortes. Worth a stay of several days worth.

Great campsite where both beach, village center and supermarket (+ gasoline) are within walking distance. The hinterland (Tuscany) is more than worth it.

We have here from Friday 25 to Tuesday 29 July been standing ...... in a word great! A thick 9 for the location the facilities and the surroundings and an extra point because they provide for good weather at a time when the rest of Netherlands was flushed almost from the map!

A thick 9 (10 I give rarely). We have been here a few days in July 2013, a breath of fresh air! No "holiday-factory" with straight asphalt bands and hedges demarcated square plots but a "real" camping with a lot of grass and, where necessary, paved pieces. Also no hidden costs for e.g. a WiFi password or a shower-vending machine. In short, a breath of fresh air at 1200 mtr of Zoutelande.
