This is simply a parking lot, and it was so full, we couldn't have stayed anyway. We drove a bit further down and pulled off the side of the road, right under a well known rock climbing spot - watched them for a few hours. A 6km hike went through there so it was a great location for us. Very quiet night, no road noise during the night although motorbikes start from about 5am... Much nicer than a full carpark, sensational views!

Very large grass camper area with plenty of big trees for shade. Located near the road but not an issue. The toilets, dish washing sinks and showers are dated although work perfectly fine - you'll need a shower token from reception (€1 = 3mins hot water) There's a pilgrims Santuary approx 4km away and the friendly caretaker is happy to offer information. Great overnight stay, €15 for 2 adults including power and water.

Great facilities, it's actually a sports centre so the showers and bathrooms are spacious, clean - hot water to wash dishes, toilet paper and free laundry. You can park the camper below on a grass area, we opted for the level area near the toilets. We ended up here because the Dolomites (Italy) was packed and super touristy... much quieter and only about 40 mins drive. There might be walkes around...? We needed power so only stayed overnight.

Great campsite, pitches under shade of trees. Very quiet throughout the night. All facilities available, we paid €16 including power. At the gate, press the button to get your plastic card and be allowed entry. Use that card to connect to electricity. To exit, insert same card at the payment machine - once finalised the gate will open automatically. 10min walk to old town and shopping.

Really nice large campground. Loads of trees and grass, very pleasant. There are lots of groups, tents and campers but somehow it's still lovely and quiet at night, everyone is very respectful. Showers with hot water and also for washing dishes. Facilities are dated but clean and everything works well. We paid €20.10 for 1 night without power and it was worth it.

Great camper spot in a quiet location. You will need a long electricity cable as pitches are in a long row and the plug spot in the middle. Our neighbour was happy to swap cables for the duration as ours didn't reach - cost €1 /12hrs. Last night we walked to the town square (15 mins?) for an excellent meal with local wines. Area feels very safe, great overnighter.

This was a real find, definitely worth stopping for a night. It is just parking on the road, but the views are great and if you manage to grab the first spot as you come up the hill, you don't have anyone on the left, except a table all to yourself. Make sure you walk around the small old town, it's absolutely worth it! Get yourself a coffee up there in the morning or a drink in the evening....just magical 💛

We loved spending a night here. Arrived without a reservation and got lucky because there are only a few camper spots. It feels friendly and the garden is just lovely. Shower and toilet facilities are rustic but work perfectly fine. The owner is super nice, professional - rates were good and fair. Too far to walk into town unless you have a motor bike or bicycle though so bring everything you need.

I found the reception welcoming. We were shown a couple of options, the terraced spots can be challenging but are doable with a 6m camper. All facilities available however you'll need your own toilet paper and swimming trunks for gets - due to the NO SHORTS rule at public pools in France... Google Maps directs via shortest route, Chemins de Verges is MUCH easier! Note shops are too far, so it means taking your car out, which could be a pain.

Wonderful surprise, great camper site! We were given a number of options eventhough it was busy. All facilities are there, very nice friendly host who offered walking maps when we enquired. You can order croissants the day before, for breakfast. The restaurant had a great vibe all day especially for drinks in the evening. Rate €31 per night with power. They lose a star for not providing toilet paper with this rate 🙂

We really enjoyed our night here. Both sunset and sunrise were amazing! We walked around the perimeter in the afternoon after arriving - decided to do the walk to the top early following morning to avoid the heat. The walk up is about 20mins and not as steep we expected. We had it all to ourselves for at least an hour, definitely worth getting up early! Afterwards we rewarded ourselves with croissants fresh out of the oven at the top restaurant!

We wanted to stay here for the night but after stopping for a couple of hours, decided to keep going. The only reason is because of the heat, unfortunately there's NO SHADE otherwise it's a great camper spot and felt very safe.

Fantastic camper site with all amenities - €17 overnight. There are now large bins to separate your rubbish, bottles, cardboard, etc by the entrance. We had a dip in the river, great after a hot day. The two min walk into town across the river is absolutely gorgeous, don't miss it! We walked in a different direction after dinner and discovered more ancient tunnels underneath buildings, even saw fireflies, very special 😊

Great for one night. Yes it's on the main road but very quiet during the night, no issues with noise except lovely frogs chatting 🙂 A number of pizzerias within close walking distance. FREE electricity is a bonus! Water available, tap only, bring a hose with connection attachment. We ended up using buckets for a shower behind our camper to cool off... it worked!

Large parking area for campers - free. Very small trees so no shade really. We only stayed for a couple of hours, just wanted to walk around the old city. The parking spot is max 5min (max) walk to the wall entry.

We liked staying here overnight. Power was only €2 and it had the other facilities we needed. It's right on the main road but super quiet at night, slept really well here. There's a wonderful restaurant next door which was full of locals and workers from the area. The food and service were excellent.... highly recommend a visit there for dinner!

Great spot amongst the trees. We had a brief storm at about 4pm - with a bit of hail - but no branches came down. Gorgeous old town a short walk 5min (left from the campsite, over the bridge) through a forest where locals take a stroll and walk their dogs. Go have a drink with the locals before returning to the van to have dinner. Really quiet spot, there was only 1 other camper there with us last night.
