A really peaceful place to stay. There are no facilities, apart from wine. The owner was generous with the wine tasting, and you are expected to buy something in return for the free stopover. This is no hardship. Be sure to phone first to book a place, it was full in April 2026

Access to the parking area has reopened in April 2026. Nicely situated Stellplatz.

Free overnight parking for 3 days for motorhomes, at the North end of the car park. A decent sized supermarket is a short walk away across a pedestrian bridge, over the river. Although only 4 designated camper places, it is a huge free car park with no parking restrictions.

A very nice peaceful Stellplatze where camping behaviour is permitted, generous plots. Nice clean washroom and toilet, plus public toilets. Slightly confusing check-in machine, you have to buy €5 of services on arrival but you do get it back, when you leave, if you don't use it. You must leave your plot by 12.00, but you can then park for up to 4 hours free. Some people think it is expensive, but this is a very popular tourist area.

Stayed for 3 nights at Easter 2025, €41.50 per night, incl taxes, for the basic pitch; came with free electricity. The site is big, but it didn't feel it, the gravel pitch was a good size and level. All the faciities provided were very good. The restaurant is very nice. A base for cycling to local attractions, Vintgar, Bled and to the train station in Lesce to spend a day in Ljubjana; everything is hilly though! We would stay here again.

Can't verify the cost as we used the Pool/Sauna and they had a system failure, so free parking. But do pay in pool reception for overnight stay, not the machine. There is a mini-shop, self service called Ackerbox with regional produce. The reservation of motorhome places is not enforced, so cars will use the same places when the car park is busy :( . Not good for vehicles over 7.5m.

CamperContact is a little confusing here. There are 3 sites in this vicinity, all managed by the hotel Gamp reception. The campsite has its own listing and there are two motorhome stopovers priced at €29 & €24 inc electricity. The cheaper one is across the road, next to the bus station. We stayed in the €29 site with grass pitches, they were level, grey and black waste disposal and washing up facility. No showers or toilets. Nice site.
