Le Petit Canada is a very nice campsite at 1,800 meters. The young staff is very friendly and speaks good English in addition to French. The people in the trendy, simple restaurant are also super friendly. Bus take you up to the lakes for 8.50 to go on amazing, marked hikes above 2,000 meters. We paid 17.20 per night for a camper and 2 people, without electricity. Top spot.

We were here in week 3 of September. We were promised good weather, and it delivered. The campsite has very nice and clean sanitary facilities, bread is available to order in the morning, and delicious and enjoyable meals with the helpful, friendly owner in the evening. We are hikers and drove our campervan to the Col de Cucheron and to Le Collet d'Allevard. Beautiful hikes on both mountain passes, both with views of the snow-capped Mont Blanc at the very top.

All descriptions below are correct. However, the peak season rate has increased from September 1st to September 30th, so it's €20 without electricity. You can enjoy fantastic walks here if you're in good shape.

Nice quiet rural campsite. Super friendly and sweet owners. Simple but nice sanitary facilities. Price is all year round: 30 euros incl. electricity. Same price without electricity.

Great little spot at the harbour and with a view of the water. 1 shower and 1 toilet. Good price compared to expensive campsites. Converted 20 euros. Half an hour by bike from the Dodekalitten.

Beautiful terraces campsite in a beautiful location with a fine beach. Very busy in September but friendly lady at the reception gave us (2 campers) nice places for 1 night. 10 o'clock the next morning we (1 camper) got another place. It was a bit of shuffling back and forth but we were beautiful, Sanitary neat and clean. Nice place with many restaurants is easy to walk.
