We stayed at this beautiful, quiet spot in winter, even though it was closed. We paid €15 + tourist tax and €0.75/kWh for electricity via On/Off, which was easy. So, no amenities! It would be great if the spot were open in winter as well, and then at a reduced rate due to the closed facilities. We were the only ones there.

We were there yesterday too. Thanks to the city of Rheine for this free spot! We had 2 quiet nights but I can imagine that it is busier in the summer with people visiting the park and probably more events are organized in the complex in the park (check in advance). The swimming pool is really recommended. €4.50 per person for adults with different pools inside and outside.

We don't think it's fair to give 1 star based solely on the price. We were here from Thursday to Sunday. Slept peacefully and enjoyed the hot shower (can be opened with a code you receive from the friendly harbor master)

Always nice to have a free spot. We were here on a Wednesday and at 4.30 in the morning the traffic already starts on the fairly busy road. We could hardly hear the highway. On the way to the highway, there is a bakery at the roundabout who provides a good breakfast.

Compliments to this small village, what a nice place! We gladly paid a voluntary contribution of €3. Visitor is asked to shop locally. At Chez Agnes (behind the church) we got some good bread. Only parked, sanitary point not used. Not 5 stars because in the morning you hear cars passing by, but that did not bother us

Thanks to the previous reviews, we found the place easily. Quiet at night. We were unlucky that our neighbor left at 4.45, that's all we heard. Nice walk to Dinan, well worth it.

Campsite open again since 24-02-2023. We have been here for 2 nights and paid 15 euros including electricity. Toilets and showers okay. Bread service from March 1. Beautiful walking paths along the coast. At the Carrefour, about 15 minutes walking distance, there is also a cafe, where you can sit in the sun out of the wind.

5 stars for the view, but no amenities. We were all alone here last night. Restaurant was closed but friendly lady knocked on the door to collect €6. We would have loved to do that. Had a very quiet night, some traffic in the morning but we didn't mind.

Nice owners. We arrived just after 5pm yesterday. We rang the doorbell at the store and we were immediately greeted in English in a friendly manner. Bought some nice IPAs and had a quiet night. Plumbing looked good but no hot shower at the moment, that was being worked on.

Paid €14.40 for 1 night. We are happy to pay that to be safe and within walking / cycling distance of beautiful Rouen. Clean sanitary facilities (including showers). Noise from the main road is the only drawback but we slept very well.

Great place, we were here all the way yesterday. The part on the grass was trimmed off with ribbon, it looks like the grass has been reseeded. Some noise from the road but you won't hear us complain about this. Glad there are places like this.

I fully agree with previous review. Great place and you're back on the highway in no time. Water to rinse did not work for us either, so we used our own water.

Free place in winter. Compliments for the Municipality of Doesburg. A quiet place in the harbor, you can walk straight into the beautiful town. We walked 2 stages of the Hanzestedenpad. Great base with bus stop around the corner (line 26 to Dieren). Delicious food at the Waag. Places close to the entrance have power poles that can also be used in winter. Bring some 50 cent coins. No facilities in winter.

It's nice that villages build places like this. Everything you need, 5 euros (coin) per 12 hours. Supermarket opposite (Tegut), opens at 7am

Nice flat place. The restaurant was closed when we arrived. It is a bit of a drive from the highway and unfortunately the wind was wrong for us so we could hear the highway well. But it's nice that these kinds of places are offered for free!

Wonderfully quiet place on a lawn only for campers. Restaurant is beautiful and not overly expensive. 10 euros for overnight stay and 13 euros for the pool incl. shower at the pool.

It's great that you can stay here for free and don't pay the main price like on most campsites in CH. Is a large parking lot with WC. We were able to sleep well between 23.00 and 5.00, after which the traffic started again. At sunrise the climb to the pass started (not via highway), was doable with our 2.14 width, but many hairpin bends.

The previous person was unlucky with this experience. We stood here for 2 nights shortly afterwards and saw no hunters. Very quiet place with clean sanitary facilities and lovely hot showers. Nice walk to Le Cavalerie. Shop in the village open in the morning for bread. Got a 5 but we also heard dogs in the neighborhood at night (can't help the site)

Stood here alone last night. Nice quiet place, blocks not needed. Bakery at 500 meters in the village. Sani station across the road. Also drinking water available this time of year! Please leave a voluntary contribution in a trench on the side of the adjacent barn. Thanks to the municipale for this nice place!

Beautiful village and nice place to stand. Very quiet this time of year. Restaurants only open for lunch now. Nice walking area, we did a yellow marked walk, around 6 km.

Calm spot. EUR 14.70 including electricity. Delicious eaten at Vigatane, restaurant within walking distance, not cheap.

Had a lovely quiet night here.

We have been here last night with 2 other campers. Nice spacious places. The barrier was open and it was indicated that access and water is currently free. It is right next to the railway tracks and you can hear that of course. It sounds like wagons were coupled off and on. We have not used our blocks.

Place looked neat. We needed water and the machine didn't work (maybe shut down in winter), so we drove on

Great place. Neat sanitary facilities, excellent WiFi and satellite reception. We were the only camper on 1 of the 6 camper places. Would be useful to have waste containers on this part of the site as well, it is a large site.

Great stop in the fall. A nice basic price of 17 euros and you can buy what you need. There was now enough space, I can imagine that in high season the 2 showers for ladies is not enough with so many places.

Slept peacefully until 8am when it got a bit busier on the road. We stood here alone
