The location is nice. Campers are parked quite close together. The reception is only open for 1 hour twice a day. When the reception is closed, you can check in via the internet or the machine at the entrance. The QR code is, as usual, unfriendly. The receptionist told me that I could come and settle everything the next morning. The QR machine at the shower reported: QR code not readable. Afterwards, it turned out I had insufficient funds. It did not function at all as instructed.

Given the large number of less positive reviews, I feel compelled to respond as well. We stayed there with our camper at the end of May 2026 and enjoyed the peace and the beautiful view along the edge of the lake. The sanitary facilities have clearly been renovated. It can definitely be called comfortable. In short: A cozy and comfortable campsite. As far as we are concerned: a solid 8 (out of 10). 😀

It is indeed very quiet here (mid-May) and the surroundings are fantastic. To get there, however, you first have to pass through a barrier for a fee of 80 Nkr. Subsequently, we were unable to reach the designated location due to another barrier. We then just stood right near that barrier to enjoy the incredibly beautiful landscape. Fortunately, we were the only ones there, otherwise it wouldn't have been possible. There are no relevant directions anywhere.
