We had a great spot right in front of the boat. There were a few trucks and another camper. It's a bit noisy from the highway, but hey, it's only for a few hours' sleep. A great spot if you're traveling through. We parked along the unpaved loop (where the other camper was too) and avoided being between the trucks on the edge.

Perfect for an overnight stop while traveling. We couldn't see the "real" campervan sites in the dark. We parked neatly at the back, along the road and the water; it just fit in a space that overhangs the grass. We had a quiet night. We got sandwiches in the restaurant or the shop. The restrooms were clean.

What a beautiful spot (17) we had on the Loire! We were truly lucky! We had a lovely bike ride to Gien and walked through the town and to the Mantelots lock! The bathrooms were clean, and the receptionist was very friendly. We paid โฌ19.40 per night, including electricity! We stayed for 3 nights because it was so beautiful. You can spot plenty of birds there!

Super nice terraced campsite. We had a wonderful time. We had a great time swimming and stand-up paddleboarding (using our own SUP and renting one) through Mike! The sanitary facilities were super clean. The food truck and cafe were already closed due to it being late in the season, but we didn't miss them. Great location!

Very good, spacious, and clean campsite. Facilities are available via a payment terminal, in Dutch. It couldn't be easier. Very quiet at night, even though there were many campers (30). Close to the old town and the beautiful basilica!

We had such a wonderful time here! The view, the silence, the wine tasting, the delicious wines, but especially the opportunity to help pick the grapes. They were just starting when we arrived. We stayed longer for that; what an experience! We saw everything from picking to pressing. You gain respect for the pickers; such hard work, but so enjoyable and convivial. Thanks to Philippe and Baptiste for their wonderful hospitality! We stayed for 3 nights. Magnificent!

Beautiful, spacious pitches. Checking in via a kiosk is very easy; you can even do it in Dutch! Everything is perfect! Clean restrooms.

Beautiful place. It's great that places like this exist. The city is close by. We were in a wonderfully quiet spot. You're right next to a sports complex, but there was nothing going on there this weekend.
Sitecode: 10183
Great, everything is there. It's a shame people leave their garbage bags behind when the bin is full! A trash can, not a dumpster! This makes it look a bit messy today, but that's not because of the location and facilities, which are perfectly fine!
Sitecode: 9632
It's great that there are still places like this near a city. You can just walk over the bridge into the city. We bought a brochure at the tourist office (โฌ2 in Dutch) and did the Cadet Roussel city walk. Great! Thanks, Auxerre!

Wonderful spot by the water. We were initially assigned a less desirable spot, but luckily we were given one with a water view. The owner was very friendly and helpful, she really went above and beyond, hats off! Good bathroom facilities and what lovely, spacious, and warm showers. Everything was neat and clean.

What wonderful places can still be found? Small and cozy. Everything is mixed together. Tents, caravans, campervans, and motorhomes. Spacious pitches with electricity and water on site. You can also dispose of your wastewater (via your hose) on the pitch. New sanitary units have been installed. Beautiful walking and cycling area! Highly recommended.

we were wonderfully quiet. ideal so close to the boat. pay via qr code spacious places on the grass between the trees.
Sitecode: 161097
Enter Elleholsmeken in Google and you will find a beautiful spot. Parking lot near a field and small forest. Walk a bit and you will arrive at the Elleholms badplats. We saw an otter! We were wonderfully quiet with 2 other campers. Some people came to walk dogs or just walk around. It is wonderful that there are places like this where you can stand! No facilities but peace, view, water! ๐
Sitecode: 19266
beautiful campsite. everything looks super nice and neat. it is also brand new. lovely on a lake. super friendly and attentive owners. just CLASS!
Sitecode: 28366
how nice that there are such neat places. we had enough space with 16 other campers. nice at gamla uppsala. toilet paper in the public toilet was gone and what does a neat grateful camper do then. you just put a roll down there. no waste disposal point for grey water but who cares, we'll do that somewhere along the way. thanks municipality uppsala for this nice free place
Sitecode: 107502
neat and everything is there. nice to drive through the city. has nothing to do with dumping and such but... go eat a shrimp sandwich and get freshly smoked fish at the stall in the parking lot! no punishment to drive a little bit for this service place! only pay cash. or swish but we don't have that๐ฌ
Sitecode: 69672
sometimes you have such gems! beautiful place, between the lupins that are in full bloom and with a view of the water! sun and you feel completely relaxed here.
Sitecode: 24072
5 stars for the location! AMAZING. peace, space, view (now still on snow)!
Sitecode: 57255
beautiful large spot on the water. you can easily get to the water so swimming, supping, it's all possible. if you're lucky you can drive into a path at the end and you'll be in a great spot. unfortunately there were 2 there and then it was full! no problem there was enough space, we had a great time here. small fire pits have been made with stones. nothing else!
Sitecode: 45112
lovely place! close to the beach. nothing to add. and yes the sanitary facilities are simple but that is not bad. it works and it is neat.
Sitecode: 158393
what a great and welcoming friendly place. they have put a nice wooden bench and tables of cable reels! info about the area and especially the nature! beautiful view over the water with rocks on the other side. luckily everyone keeps it tidy! too beautiful place so quickly full!
Sitecode: 81952
Lovely quiet. Choose your own camper spot. Nice paved spot and not close together. Sanitary facilities super clean and nice shower. No coins needed everything included From here by bike to the starting point of the Sherpa stairs and then to Svinoya with the red workers' houses and the stockfish racks!
Sitecode: 60069
if you follow the coordinates you will end up at a place where they are now working with grit. you can't stand now. there are NO CAMPING signs in the entire harbor! a little back is a parking lot for the center. stood there wonderfully. there is nothing except a waste container. fine for us! it is a short walk to the whale safari location! top
Sitecode: 102382
we went here to look. a parking lot across from a church. no idea how the photo of the blue camper van was taken but we didn't see a nice spot by the water. that's how it looks in the photo. narrow road with only trees. we left. we didn't think it was worth the detour.
Sitecode: 158146
Beautiful place. Beautiful view of the sea. Lovely to stroll over the stones. the weather has to be good because a beautiful midsummer sun was not in the cards for us. great toilet and nicely built. you are not bothered by the road at night.
Sitecode: 107002
what a great place! wonderfully quiet at night. we had a lovely walk and looked out over the water. sunset was beautiful, had to wait a long time haha.
Sitecode: 156331
warm welcome. everything is neat and clean. beautiful breathtaking view all around with snow on the mountain tops. next to waterfall so it is not very quiet. from here you can walk to the glacier. even better is that the owner takes you to the parking lot above. saves a lot. back walk or hitchhike๐ only very small thing is that you can not empty the chemical toilet. fortunately that is possible on the way.
Sitecode: 56751
you want to stand there every day. amazing view and nice and quiet! ideal if you are self-sufficient!
Sitecode: 42955
good place for an overnight stay. apparently popular because it filled up quickly. sanitary facilities fine. road nearby but you don't have any trouble with it at night. large waste container no other facilities.
Sitecode: 28052
what a great place! pay 200kr cash by means of an envelope (is in a cupboard) where you write your details. sanitary facilities very clean and tidy. wifi works mega well! view over the fjord, in the distance you can see the svandalsfossen and snow on the mountain tops. All facilities available. recommended!
Sitecode: 64641
A lovely quiet place. We agree with the previous review. Payment is easy with QR code and credit card. DKK 150 p/n. Electricity (DKK 30) and water (DKK 10) can be purchased separately. Definitely worth remembering! Close to the boat so also handy for a transit place. There is room for 5 campers! We found it very cozy with many cyclists who pitched their tent there for the night!
Sitecode: 12611
beautiful place, very quiet. I completely agree with the previous one. I have nothing to add. We will definitely come back here on our way to and from Sweden!
Sitecode: 156509
self check-in with qr code to their website. places have different prices. at the water 450 kr to 250 kr on the field. at the water is a bit misleading because from the campsite you only get to the water via a narrow path at the beginning. narrow sandy area. close to the road. for an overnight stay on the way fine. for a longer periodโฆ there are nicer places to find where you can get to the water. sanitary facilities super neat and clean
Sitecode: 42287
super place. you can buy your ticket very easily at the service building! very clean sanitary building, you receive the code together with your "parking" ticket. right at the bridge at the Gรถta Kanal. we cycled to the old fortress.
Sitecode: 78291
beautiful, really! nice such a terraced camping. we looked out over the lake from above. but, not really our thing. a bit busy and expensive. we did this once to be close to the Tivedens National Park.
Sitecode: 44968
we stayed there for 2 nights. beautiful lake. sanitary facilities are very neat. access code for gate and sanitary facilities you get from a very cheerful man when he comes to collect the money in the evening. sek 220 p/n and after he has been the gate closes. he opens it again early in the morning! you can only not get rid of your dirty water. otherwise really great place. it is the field of the local football club that they do not use in the summer, so you also support them.
Sitecode: 50688
LPG refilled. super nice and helpful man. Fortunately, you can pay with your card. no hassle with just swish You can also dump everything and refill clean water. good and clean place.
Sitecode: 103087
wonderful! Pay 115 kr at the beach bar. there are 4 spacious places. take out the awning and sit relaxed at the camper is no problem. recommended
Sitecode: 158713
we tried to pay with the necessary app. very complicated. there were Swedes who wanted to pay for it (you provide your license plate number via the app) and then pay them in cash. very nice! we just left anyway. very busy, helicopter flights over your head on and off. no facilities. costs 215 kr per night. The place is beautiful on the harbor and you can walk straight over the bridge into the city. must be your thing.
Sitecode: 103491
great place on the harbour. With a little friendly help from a Swiss we were able to get in. top spot! beautiful sunset watched on the point! recommended!
Sitecode: 28530
quiet large gravel parking lot. you walk over the bridge straight into the city. beautiful nature reserve and the tivoli park can all be done on foot. We cycled to the lowest point in Sweden and cycled around the city. beautiful bastion with a row of cannons NB! You are no longer allowed to stand here for free since July 1, 2024. 100 kr per day! transfer to ibannr, see billboards. They say they check daily but we haven't seen anyone.
Sitecode: 158874
large parking lot with plenty of space for campers. opposite the royal tomb to be visited. entrance through a small tent where you can eat waffles. visiting the tomb costs 45 kr pp. worth it?? well, experience it yourself. You walk straight from the parking lot into Kivik with its cozy harbour. got delicious salmon at the rockeri. great place.
Sitecode: 107110
official place for 8 campers. other places are for regular cars. we stayed the night anyway because there were all the campers in the regular parking spaces. We left early again so no fine like a previous camper. It's beautiful right on the beach. lovely walk in the evening. very quiet place
Sitecode: 72089
very spacious parking lot near a lake. great place! nice and quiet. no facilities, but you have them in your camper anyway! ๐คช We had a fantastic time here. We were only there with 2 other campers. a place to remember on your way to Sweden!
Sitecode: 42194
AWESOME! very friendly owners. eggs, onions and potatoes for sale at the campsite! received a cycling map of the island! everything perfectly arranged. what a beautiful campsite and so neat and clean. within cycling distance of all the nice villages on Walcheren. We stayed for 1 night in transit, but we will definitely return for a longer period in Walcheren.
Sitecode: 57649
beautiful paved areas with grass next to them. There is a new sanitary building that is spotlessly clean. we forgot to order bread but even that was no problem. croissant and baquet was just there. Stayed for 1 night before traveling home. great place. nice and calm. You won't be bothered by the train on the other side of the road.
Sitecode: 1288
a place on โstandโ haha, you are standing in the middle of the village near a castle! 5 great places. there is even a public toilet. nice walk to the waterfall and shops around the corner. super quiet because even the church bells are silent at night! ๐คช
Sitecode: 94554
Very friendly reception. Take a map around the campsite to see which free spot you like. cozy on a field between the hedges. Unfortunately, places overlooking the river were already occupied. nice hot showers. no hassle with coins. sanitary facilities outdated but otherwise fine. you can walk straight from the campsite towards the Granite Rouge and the customs path! what views.
Sitecode: 14301
what a beautiful place. campsite is closed. You can park your camper there for 5 euros. Money is collected at the door! Lawn is neatly mowed! well arranged. lighthouse and fort within walking/cycling distance! across the street your own beach.
Sitecode: 58439
what a great place. super nice campsite owners. In the evening a tour is made of all the places to ask if you want bread the next morning. this will be delivered to your camper early in the morning. It had rained the day before departure, and the owner brings mats in the morning so we can drive away. great anyway. lovely sanitary facilities and finally good hot water for washing dishes and showers. top top top within cycling distance of Le Mont Saint
Sitecode: 1151
What a beautiful CP. view over the harbor and close to the beautiful and cozy town. super quiet and all amenities available.
Sitecode: 99155
Super place. Wonderfully quiet and within walking distance of the Abbey with a beautiful monastery garden. Baker around the corner. We were all alone.
Sitecode: 113017
we wanted to be at the CP in Giverny. full! moved to Le Criquet. friendly welcome and we were happy that there was room because everything was full where we wanted. joy passes quickly. 35 euros for 1 night, the sanitary facilities were too dirty and we were stuck on the electricity cables across the path and to our place. apologies from the owner but yes that was afterwards. All are owner-occupied caravans and I don't think they are designed for passers-by. too expensive too bad!
Sitecode: 29390
if you are self-sufficient, a beautiful place to be. There is nothing, except for a paid toilet building during opening hours of the gardens. We were there very early and there was plenty of room. visited Monet's gardens and cycled to Vernon in the afternoon. great cycle path! It was wonderfully quiet at night. Recommended!

To รtretat on Ascension Day, how stupid can you be. Everything overcrowded. Then found this campsite. So no reviews on happiness. Super rural location. Really French, very dated. Grass not mowed because the tractor has been broken for 3 months. Super nice welcome by the owner. She used Google Translate because our French was inadequate. Sanitary facilities dated but neat. Even toilet paper hangs near the toilet. Tomorrow we will be woken up by the rooster
