It was pleasantly busy with BBQs on the square. Plenty of space to park. Didn't see a sign that it was an official place. We went for a walk along the rugged coast. The cafe on the corner of the square was open. And the restaurant in the village served super tasty fish. All in all a nice place.

This place is really super beautiful. The sanitary facilities, including showers with toilet, would not be out of place in a luxury home. The reception was super friendly. The surroundings are beautiful. walking to the waterfalls. But for a night pay 70.80 €? For a camper and 2 people.

A beautiful camper place in beautiful surroundings. everything is neat and clean and when the restaurant is open, delicious food. There may be 2 additional washing areas. If I am in the area I would like to come back again.

The campsite looked neat. Toilets and showers were clean. A kitchenette with hob is available. Dishes were also washed here. There is no unloading point for the chemical toilet. There is a full sanitary station 100 meters away on the other side of the road.

Ideally located near beautiful hiking and cycling routes through the Drenthe Frisian forest. The facilities are simple but ok. Especially the chemical toilet discharge point is ingenious and splash-free. The camper place has grown strongly and work is being done to expand the sanitary facilities. The administrators are very friendly and helpful.
