Time for a nice long camper weekend again! We start at Asparagus and wine farm de Sandspuy in Etten Leur. A lovely atmosphere and a great sale of all kinds of local delicacies where I of course immediately score the restaurant quality asparagus and old-fashioned delicious strawberries of which Hans reacted in euphoria with: "That's how they used to taste! The asparagus are really deliciously full of flavor!

A pleasant quiet campsite, situated on an island in the middle of the Loire. You can choose your own spot upon arrival, the spots are very spacious, with many water points. The whole is basic, but everything is there. Next to the campsite you can buy fresh vegetables at a stall. A walk to the abbey is worth it, once at the top you have a beautiful view over the Loire.

beautiful, peaceful and friendly environment. great for cycling to, for example, Le Blanc. Beautiful fishing water right at the camper.
