After stumbling upon two fully occupied campsites at the end of a long journey, out of sheer desperation we parked our old tandem-axle camper in this parking lot, which lacks any camper-oriented facilities. Located close to a provincial road, the spot turns out to be a meeting place for hiking clubs, motorcycle clubs, etc. Listing it as a “camper site” seems unjustified, or at least exaggerated, to me.

Chosen by us for the maiden trip with 2 people and 4 dogs in our big old tandem axle. The very helpful owner (detected and repaired a life-threatening gas leak) turned out to be a seasoned camper builder and globetrotter who was preparing one of his campers for the next long journey. The place is equipped with all camper supplies with the exception of a sanitary dump, the (free) WiFi can occasionally falter.
