Friendly people, beautiful spots, and a wonderful shower. It is a great place to be in the autumn too. The only thing is, the mosquitoes think so too. But of course, the Appelhoek can't help that.

Everything is great here. Beautiful, new, and clean sanitary facilities. Pitches with all amenities and friendly people. What more could you want? (Maybe a bit lower tourist tax, because it is quite high here).

Large and very messy campsite. Many permanent pitches in various stages of renovation. The spots by the water are beautiful. You can get fried food on weekends. The sanitary facilities are clean but dated. The shower is no picnic as it is a weak stream, lukewarm, and you have to wait it out (there is no off button). You can only dispose of rubbish for half an hour a day on certain days.

Beautifully situated campsite with a restaurant and spotless sanitary facilities. But not my type of campsite, because 80% are permanent pitches (many Dutch people) (actually, there aren't very many transit spots). They are postage-stamp pitches (we have a very small awning and that didn't even fit), very close together, and we were unlucky that a village festival was taking place. We had a spring offer of €28 + €7 tourist tax.

We were here in late May, so there was plenty of space. We had a beautiful spot on the edge with a view. And wonderfully quiet in nature (with the occasional church bell). I do think €20 plus €5 tourist tax is quite pricey. It is nice cycling to the lake and the slack.

Beautiful but very busy campsite near Bled. Completely full even in May, which causes a lot of disruption due to continuous traffic entering and leaving. The sanitary facilities are fine, though a bit on the cramped side for so many people. And still quite affordable with ACSI.
